19/09/2024: C'est notre 2e visite et toujours enchanté! Personnels au petit soins. Fish and chips toujours aussi bon et un grand merci pour mon café liégeois sauce au café, dééélicieux! A très bientôt!!

Quite substantial at over 60€…
I end up with inedible sushi.
The rice was way overcooked.
As a result, the sushi doesn't hold together and it's a disaster in the mouth.
I also added reusable chopsticks to my order (at 1€ anyway) when I opened the bag at home: nothing….
Living far from the restaurant I couldn't afford to come back.
And then the welcome where they look us up and down when we come in... we feel the judgment. To be discussed with your teams.
In short, before I was a loyal customer of yours, now I will go to the competition.

15/10/2024: After 1 year without going there because it was catastrophic, we returned there this afternoon discovering a new management, classic and good French cuisine without "fuss", fresh ingredients, very reasonable budget, friendly owners.... nothing to do with the previous owner in every way....

18/11/2024: Muy casual. Primer lugar para comer algo al llegar a la ciudad. Tenía dos ollas de mejillones - gran tamaño de porción, gran relación calidad-precio. Nunca antes había comido mejillones al curry, lo mejor que he comido. Buenas opciones de cerveza.
13/11/2024: Service rapide, burgers très bons accueil agréable. La carte pas trop fourni permet de manger des bons produits comme le pain burger

Fish and chips pour 15€ : les frites sont des surgelées sèches et en petite portion… Que dire du poisson très sec également certainement pas de la cuisine un temps soit peu maison ! Triste assiette aucune couleur même pas une feuille de salade un morceau de tomate pour rehausser une assiette très légère ! Nous n’y retournerons pas

En amuse bouche une petite quiche et un caspachio .
Choucroute de la mer copieuse ,mais pas de doddy bag pour emporter le reste de repas.(papier alu).
Il n y avait pas de palette dans le petit salé au lentilles mais 2 morceaux de porc salé très gras .
La crème chocolat très bonne .

27/08/2024: If you need to take a short break to enjoy a good ice cream sitting down, I recommend this place.
Small pleasant terrace and good service.
Likewise, the toilets are clean which is nice.

06/10/2024: Attiré encore une fois par l'excellent classement de ce restaurant indien, nous y allons à 2 et avons été franchement déçus déjà par l'accueil d'un jeune serveur, aussi maussade que le ciel ce jour-là, et ensuite par la fadeur des plats.
La cuisine indienne privée de ses saveurs subtiles n'a aucun intérêt et là, on est restés sur notre faim.
La seule chose qui ne manquait pas d'épices, c'est l'addition.
Pas envie de renouveler l'expérience.

11/08/2024: I booked via thefork.com and specifically chose the " discount on a la carte menu" rather then special price on " set menus"
Upon arrival they made us wait 15 mins ( the restaurant was not full) only to be presented with the " set menu options" ( those that i specifically avoided when booking)
I ( tried) since the waiter couldn't speak English to explain that was not what I had booked and when asked " is this the full menu?" I was told " yes" .. too bad his colleague was carrying a dish that was clearly one of the 3 that were listed on the menu we were given..
So I asked for someone who could speak English
After some consultation with his colleague, they completely ignored us ..
So we left..
28/07/2024: Stayed here recently as we used it as a base to see Bayeux and the Normandy beaches along with the war graves, etc. The restaurant was very good, the staff were very nice and helpful, the only problem was the room, on arrival there were many flies on the table and windowsills, ok this could be a problem but hey, somethings get missed, when reported the young lady at reception was very embarrassed. Will I stay again? Yes, of course, as everything else was good.

17/08/2024: It's a new hotel! So neat and discreetly organised. The cuisine is not what I expected and a real shame! The service is apparently good, but it is not as excellent as we expect from the French! Overall it is a good base if you are traveling by coach.
15/08/2024: I recommend this restaurant. Friendly staff and very good food.
