20/07/2026: We made a reservation by phone for two adults and a baby, specifying that a high chair was needed. Upon arrival, we were told that the restaurant didn't have a high chair... and that we could arrange for our baby to eat in a regular chair... a wasted 20-minute drive. They could have told us that beforehand! We found another restaurant that had a high chair (like most restaurants) and, as a bonus, a much warmer welcome!

08/07/2026: Deceptive practice and lack of transparency! They ONLY cater to truckers here! The menu includes a soft drink or lemonade. EXCEPT we weren't offered one when I asked for it at the end of our meal, under the pretext that we weren't truckers… (out of courtesy, I had ordered a Coke and an aperitif, even though I had driven 250 kilometers before arriving here 😏). There was no mention of this on the menu board!!! A shame, because the quality/price ratio is otherwise good.

16/07/2026: Highly recommended! We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance and received a very warm welcome. Since the opening hours weren't available online, we tried our luck just before 7 pm. Naturally, we were the first customers, as it seems they only open around 7 pm after the lunch rush. For tourists with limited French skills, or if their school French is a few decades in the past, English is thankfully available 😉 There was also something suitable for children on the menu. The dishes were delicious; kudos to the chef! The price was reasonable, and it seems to be a very popular restaurant with locals as well. We'll gladly return if we're ever in Normandy again.

27/06/2026: Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed even though the website indicated it was open. There was no sign or information on the building. However, a menu was displayed in the window.

09/08/2026: A truly wonderful place in Deauville! The setting is magnificent, the atmosphere elegant and welcoming, with a lovely terrace. A great find, I highly recommend it!

21/06/2026: Nice rooftop café, but the prices are very high for the quality, which is a shame. I ordered an espresso, which I didn't really consider an espresso given the small amount in the cup. And the taste was just average...

26/05/2026: The rooms were filthy and dirty. They hadn't been cleaned. Only the linens had been changed, thankfully. There was a smell of wet dog in the room. The mirrors and windows were dirty, there were unidentifiable stains on the carpet, hair in the shower, and unidentifiable water stains on the walls and floor of the toilet. The toilet cistern cover and toilet brush holder were broken, and all surfaces were sticky and uncleaned. The street was quite noisy, but it was either that or suffocate from the awful smell. I almost forgot the thought that came to me when I saw that the fitted sheet was inside out… was that intentional or a mistake? (No answer expected) The atmosphere was reminiscent of The Shining. We were offered breakfast, coffee/tea, or juice as an apology, but it was absolutely unappealing given the state of the room and everything else. Even though the price wasn't exorbitant per person, it's a far cry from the concept of a hotel where you want to feel at home, or even better, but certainly not worse. Awful. The staff feigned surprise at our experience during check-out, but at this point, they need acting lessons to make us believe it even a little. We didn't see any other guests in the hotel, so a more decent room would have been welcome.

15/05/2026: A wood-fired pizzeria like we wish we could find more often. The pizzas and burgers are excellent (bread/pasta, quality steak). The service is top-notch. We were even able to request birthday candles on a burger! We expected the portions to be generous and we weren't disappointed. Go for it!

09/08/2026: The staff were friendly and the service was good, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The grilled entrecôte with Camembert sauce was particularly disappointing. One of us doesn’t eat fish, so the steak was essentially the only suitable choice from the main courses. Unfortunately, the meat was tasteless, chewy and extremely dry. We asked for it not to be bloody, but instead it was cooked almost black. For a €28.90 steak, we expected much better. We also had the cod Orloff style, which was okay but nothing special. The vegetable salad was a rather random combination of cooked carrots, lettuce, onions, raspberries and apples. It looked nice, but unfortunately had very little flavour and really needed some dressing. We couldn’t finish our plates and had no desire to order dessert afterwards. A shame, because the staff were very friendly and the service itself was good.

02/07/2026: I don't recommend this place. The appetizer and dessert buffets are mediocre for a restaurant. I eat better at home. You expect a minimum level of service.
