23/12/2025: If I could give zero stars, this would be it. A restaurant I've frequented for a long time, and which until now has been impeccable… but my last experience was extremely disappointing! I had booked a meal for 20 people for an event two months in advance with the waiter. (Invitations ordered and sent) The owner met with me to discuss the reservation… not a very warm welcome… a very arrogant person… however, I went ahead with it… Two weeks ago, like many others, I learned that the restaurant was closing its doors but continuing to offer service for professional and private events. (My event wasn't affected per se.) However, I sent an email asking if my reservation was still valid and if the conditions remained the same… no response… I went to the restaurant, the waiter passed the message on to the owner, who asked me… I'm still waiting for a call back… So I booked my event elsewhere! The day before yesterday, a caterer called me back saying they were taking over the reservations… I had the pleasure of telling him I wasn't going to proceed and wished him the best of luck working with an establishment like that! An arrogant boss who manages his reservations terribly, doesn't bother to call his clients back, and I think he doesn't care about losing a table of 20 people… he probably doesn't care about that… In any case, he's off to a great start with his new venture! Avoid at all costs, because they've lost a lot of customers! No wonder the employees are coming and going like they do every day of the week…

14/11/2025: Jeremy is very pleasant to serve us and very nice. The food is amazing, we come from Indonesia and having this local food fantastic: Cod Fish (, Beef Soup and Chicken with local material so good. We recommended to all of you, the local food hunter 😍 Lisieux so amazing and the restaurant must try

29/11/2025: A tourist trap. It's mass-produced pastries, three times more expensive than elsewhere. Absolutely avoid it.

01/11/2025: Excellent but expensive. We had a macaronade with fresh raspberries and a tartelette cappuccino. They tasted fantastic.

02/05/2026: Simply the best pizzas in Villers (and far beyond)! I've been a customer for almost 10 years and am always satisfied with my orders and the warm, humorous service from the owner.

01/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! Prices are way too high for this kind of pizza!!! A Regina with Camembert cheese isn't a Regina, so it's not good. The crust was soggy and awful. The Margherita was the size of my hand and also not good. What a shame!!!!

12/12/2025: Definitely not a place to revisit. Food was poor, room was not warm and the service distinctly anti-English. Hugely overpriced too. 2 stars for food because the cheese starter was tasty (although not hot enough) €86 paid for 2 courses for 2 people plus calvados and Small wine 🙁

27/04/2026: My daughter-in-law gave a gift certificate for a one-night stay and breakfast to a couple of friends last weekend. Unfortunately, her friend's husband had a health issue and couldn't make it. She requested (with proof of sick leave) a postponement or a discount on another service, but they refused, and she lost over €400. It's shameful for an establishment that claims to be welcoming... absolutely no empathy; all they care about is money. I do not recommend this establishment.

23/04/2026: Great hotel! I spent two nights there with my mother and niece. Very comfortable bedding, spacious room. Generous breakfast and the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful in giving us sightseeing suggestions. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness.

From the first bite, I was transported back to my childhood, with flavors that instantly reminded me of the pizzas my grandfather used to make: generous, authentic, and made with passion. The dough is perfect, the toppings delicious, and the atmosphere warm and inviting from the moment you step inside. A flawless experience in Caen. If you're looking for a truly authentic Italian pizza, look no further, this is the place to come! Congratulations, keep it up! 🇮🇹🍕

03/10/2025: They have home made Italian food and delicacies. It was a welcomed find in a sea were the French only seem to drink between 4pm and 7pm and you actually want to eat something! The good was delicious and the service very gracious.

30/04/2026: Perhaps it's not mussel season? Most of them are empty, very small, and inedible. The staff are very nice to the animals but not to the humans; they lack hospitality.

27/12/2025: Very disappointed. The waiter was barely friendly, and the service was poor: he didn't offer water or any other drinks. After our savory crepes, he didn't even offer a dessert menu or coffee! We paid and left. I definitely don't recommend this place.

19/11/2025: I had a quick bite of a ham/egg/cheese galette, which perfectly met my expectations; the service was fast and pleasant.

18/11/2025: Thanks to Garcelle Golf Club for inviting me as a pro. A very enjoyable course to play, this little-frequented golf course deserves to be better known.

25/12/2025: The café has really nice premises, with two rooms offering two very different atmospheres. The servers sometimes seem overwhelmed and tired, which I think explains the comments about other customers' experiences. However, I don't think you should force people to smile all the time, even in this line of work. It's not disrespectful, just a bit of a shame. Even if the servers aren't always beaming with happiness, they are always helpful. And you should see the insulting remarks they sometimes receive from other customers. Indeed, if you sit outside, you have to wait a while before being served. Perhaps making it official that you have to order inside would be helpful? It's done in many cafés, so why not here!

28/11/2025: I usually come here to buy my cigarettes when I'm in Lisieux, but today I was very disappointed because a woman forgot to give me change, saying I should have saved it for the betting shop, etc. Frankly, I won't be coming back to buy my cigarettes here.
