27/12/2023: A FUIR !!! Serveurs impolis et pas souriants. On demande la carte et il nous la ramène en trainant des pieds. On commande deux chocolats viennois, AUCUN GOÛT !!! Au moment de payer, le prix n’est pas le même que celui indiqué sur la carte, je leur fais la réflexion mais d’un ton très peu aimable (clairement agacée), le serveuse me répond que ce n’est pas son problème, que le patron a décidé que c’était ce prix là donc il faut régler ce prix là ! Apparement elle sait que les cartes doivent être changées mais ducoup POURQUOI VOUS NE CHANGEZ PAS VOS CARTES ???? (ne serait-ce que changer les prix avec un autocollant, même un enfant de 6 ans peut le faire) J’en parle au deuxième serveur en partant mais il ne sait prendre qu’un faux air étonné en guise de réponse… ABSURDE ! (En plus de tout ça, ils abusent clairement sur les prix !)

22/09/2024: We went to eat in this establishment with friends during the cider & dragons festival No politeness (enjoy your appetite, ate the basics well...) and friendliness on the part of the boss and the waiters, we just had the impression of pissing them off, only the waitress was smiling and kind + 30min wait for 3 pizzas, tables where the order was taken much later than us, we were served before (pizza) To end up receiving a bland and tasteless pizza... (Chorizo ​​and regina) I'll move on next time

24/08/2024: Nous nous sommes rendus vers 18h en couple pour y boire un verre en terrasse. La terrasse était certes pleine, mais certaines tables étaient pliées. Nous avons demandé s'il était possible de nous installer un table, ce qui a été refusé car le bar fermait pour congés 1h30 après notre arrivée ! En bref, il ne faut pas être touriste fin août car ils ont fait le chiffre de la saison et on est plus les bienvenus ! Inadmissible !!

17/08/2024: Voici un établissement où l on se sent bien. Un accueil chaleureux et familial. Une qualité et une quantité dans l assiette incroyable. Une très belle carte des vins à prix raisonnable, sans oublier les cidres de la maison boissel qui sont à découvrir. La chambre est de qualité essentiel et le petit-déjeuner est au top qualité. Vous l avez compris il faut pousser la porte de cet établissement. E et L

07/01/2025: Worst Service Experience I recently visited this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was the worst service I’ve ever encountered. The lady who served us was beyond unprofessional and downright rude. From the moment we walked in, her attitude was dismissive and unfriendly, as if we were inconveniencing her by being there. Simple requests were met with sighs and eye rolls, and she seemed completely uninterested in providing any semblance of decent customer service. It’s clear that basic courtesy and professionalism are not part of the training here—or if they are, she missed the memo. The experience was a total disaster. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with respect and kindness, steer clear of this spot. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

03/01/2025: Very unfriendly welcome, barely through the door, we feel that we are disturbing as soon as the staff sees that a child (12 years old) is accompanying us…

07/06/2025: I ordered a calzone and the sight and taste of it looked more like a margarita, I think in a slipper. I think the person who prepared it doesn't know anything about pizza.

26/09/2024: My friends and I came during the week. We had ordered a “large” aperitif platter which the quantity-price ratio left something to be desired since it was made up of portions for 4 whereas there were 7 of us… (it was not specified, too bad a second one could have been possible). When we expressed our dissatisfaction following this “large” board for 4, the waitresses as well as the manager did not demonstrate professionalism and lacked friendliness… We were clearly taken down by justifying themselves with “l 'andouille is expensive, so it's worth the price' Finally, the dishes ordered did not correspond to the dishes received and to top it off several of us were sick… Very disappointed with our last visit compared to our previous visits last summer.

23/10/2024: Uniquement pour prendre un verre ! Le restaurant vit de son emplacement. Du temps de la maman c'était bien et bon, maintenant c'est juste très mauvais. Moules recuites trop cuites évidemment, beaucoup de mets surgelés des crêpes sans saveur et très peu garnies avec des ingrédients de basse qualité et un service lamentable. Le patron se moque des mauvaises critiques, son restaurant est sur la plage de Trouville, alors... cette terrasse est en revanche très agréable pour prendre un verre, un café, un apéritif. Et rien d'autre !

11/09/2024: My partner and I decided on here for lunch, until this point in our stay and visits to other places to eat and drink in Honfleur the service we had received had been so helpful and polite but this, sadly was about to change. The service here is rude and totally unhelpful. We are of a certain age (old!) and have travelled the world and have never had a problem sharing a meal, not so here! A terrible scene ensued with us being told in a loud and aggressive way that it was 'impossible' and the gentleman who delivered this then storming off and moaning to his colleague about us. We increased our order to 2 cheese toasties ( hardly a fine dining establishment) my partner wanted to leave, I'm stubborn and wouldn't give them the satisfaction. It's not about the cost to me it's about knowing our appetite was not enough to eat 2. The most uninspired toastie and chips I have ever had (half of each plateful, leaving half each, what a waste!) coffee absolutely dreadful. Please avoid, they do not deserve your custom.

08/09/2024: Very good food, we enjoyed ourselves! The dishes are original and well prepared, with fresh produce and unexpected flavor combinations. For example, a sea bream gravelax with celery and grapefruit. Or, a sea bass fillet generously accompanied by mushroom risotto, zucchini flan and celery puree. The Vintage Café is located next to the Lieutenance and the Vieux-Bassin. The atmosphere is relaxed, in a retro decor. We appreciated the efficient and attentive service, well paced despite the crowds in this very touristy location.
