29/08/2024: Everything has changed, expeditious service still with our mouths full as we remove the appetizers and don't even start! the aperitif, the starter, the main course and the dessert! No exaggeration! Quantities revised significantly downwards 😬 we will surely not come back!

26/08/2024: As I don't eat animals, I took a vegetarian plate which was frankly mediocre, composed of raw vegetables found in the fridge and mashed potatoes quickly reheated in the microwave for €16.90, it's a bit pathetic …unfortunately no choice because there is no other vegetarian alternative…. Honestly, remove this dish from the menu if it bothers you to make vegetarian dishes. However extremely fast and quality service, the place is great.

03/09/2024: Great place that I wish was nearer home! As I was driving I enjoyed my mocktail, complete in fake coconut cup. We shared nachos and Plancha Duo and all was delicious. Great vibes and there is a happy hour offer. Good veggie options.

01/09/2024: Great little tapas restaurant in Honfleur, especially when you want smaller dishes or slightly different. Very nice atmosphere, good tapas and sangria.

18/09/2024: Assiettes plus que décevantes : un poisson médiocre, accompagnement très peu élaboré, ce qui doit être chaud ne l'est pas même après 1 retour en cuisine. Erreur de compréhension à la commande mais discutée par la serveuse, qui de plus a dû nous représenter 3 additions avant d'en proposer une sans erreur. Plein de petits détails m'insupportent dans le service : par 3 fois, pour l'entrée, pour le plat, pour le désert (donc n'est pas 1 hasard) la serveuse veut déservir alors que nous mangeons encore, le visage au-dessus de l'assiette, les couverts dedans ! Du jamais vu !!! Je déconseille très vivement

15/11/2025: We are regular guests at Capfun campsites as we have five children. We have generally been very satisfied with our accommodations for many years, but during the summer of 2025, we booked at Capfun Donjon de Lars. We had a very bad experience because not only did we find the supervision very lax, but above all, we were victims of theft to which the campsite took absolutely no action. One evening around 10 pm, my son had his electric scooter stolen in the campsite square in front of a security guard by a campsite resident. Naturally, my son went to see the security guard since the theft occurred in the square and in front of the CCTV cameras. The security guard refused to intervene. I then went to the management, who reviewed the CCTV footage but refused to give me a copy. They refused to contact the police, who were present at the campsite that same day. They also refused to file a claim with their insurance company. So I called the Capfun group and was met with a woman who mocked me on the phone. She told me I could always write a letter, but it wouldn't do any good. No compassion, no desire to find a solution. For a family group, we've found better options. I wrote a letter to the Capfun group, but received no response. Basically, they sell a group focused on leisure and family, but ultimately, financial considerations take precedence because they offer no solutions and don't even bother to give you feedback. Their business practices definitely need to be changed to be more customer-focused. I'm not sure I'll be returning to Capfun next summer.

11/11/2025: We came for the Halloween weekend and there were no activities, which was a shame for the children. The restaurant staff were excellent, and a big thank you to the gentleman at the pool who brought us everything we needed to clean up my daughter's vomit.

30/07/2024: Very warm welcome at the hotel restaurant where we had accommodation, possibility of having an aperitif on the terrace in a magnificent little garden. we ordered a menu for €52 with a wine accompaniment + €30 and so sorry but we could do better (of course I'm only speaking for my personal tastings and I'm not saying it's bad) starter (good), the main course Risotto with Scampis (very bland risotto and scampi snakké meh) the cheese plate (it came straight from the fridge) the plate of desserts (rather a choice of sweets to accompany the coffee) and the wine very good except the last one you served me a Poirier (pear cider) to accompany the cheese and I found no interest in it , a wine would have found its place there (especially when I see the price of pear cider for €2.50) for an accompaniment to a glass for €10 Otherwise very correct and polite service although we had to ask for and receive the bread at the end of our starter and the glass of wine for the main course when we had finished. It is true that on this date the restaurant and the terrace were full, this is the reason for my rating. This remains a personal opinion and I do not recommend this charming restaurant but will remedy a few points that I found negative. Good to you

29/08/2024: Leider hat es uns gar nicht gefallen. Der service war unglaublich langsam (nach 15 Minuten überhaupt erstmal Getränkebestellung aufgenommen) und unaufmerksam (man musste nach Besteck, Salz und Wasser fragen. Das Fleisch war ok, die Bernaise eine zwar wohlschmeckende kalte Mayonnaise, aber keine Sauce Bearnaise, die Ceviche wenig gewürzt. Wird würden nicht wiederkommen.

09/09/2024: A fuir Je ne suis peut être pas tombé le bon jour mais ce n'est pas une raison Fruits de mer plein d'eau bulots et huîtres arrière goût avons du les jeter et pourtant pendant le confinement avions été agréablement surpris de la qualité Dernière expérience chez Alain Langoustines cuites à 99€ le kilo foutage de guele je comprends mieux la fraîcheur qui laisse à désirer 80€ mis à la poubelle

27/08/2024: Very unpleasant experience in this port restaurant. The server was not accommodating at all. For a restaurant located by the sea, the choice of fish was very limited, which is incomprehensible. Avoid if you are looking for a good time and quality seafood

17/08/2024: Very good dishes and desserts too bad the drinks are so expensive whiskey coke 15.50 euro unheard of for me.

17/09/2024: The fish and the cuisine are great. The chef is very nice and he cooks before your eyes! The only downside for me is too much light inside, I would have preferred a more subdued atmosphere for dinner with my other half. We had a great time though.

14/09/2024: The sellers were lovely, especially the man at the stall who gave good advice and prepared a seafood platter for us in 10 minutes. It was excellent!

30/08/2024: Excellent biscuits with different and rich fillings. Professional and quick service. The house wine, at a good price, is not to be missed. I recommend the galettes with Jamon Serrano (the others are with cooked ham), the one with salmon is also good. If you want to spend little and eat the typical one, I recommend the Complete Creme (which is without fried egg) at 9.50 euros. Average per head of 15/18 euros.

18/08/2024: Un restaurant très bien situé dans Cabourg, très élégant et calme. La cuisine est très raffinée, servie dans une jolie vaisselle, et toujours magnifiquement présentée. Tout est parfait: les différents plats comme le service.

14/08/2024: Je suis venue ce jour avec mes parents et mon mari . Le service était impeccable. Les serveurs étaient très agréables et attentionnés. Les plats etaient chauds et excellents. Le ris de veau est très bien servi et excellent. Le soufflé au grand marnier orange est exceptionnelle et le gâteau au chocolat avec le citron est à tombé. Le trou normand à été une belle surprise. Félicitations aux cuisiniers. Ne changé rien c'est parfait. Le petit plus, le patron qui vient nous demander si tout va bien. Je recommande à 200%
