28/02/2026: The waitress was incredibly kind, helpful, smiling, and very attentive—a motivated young woman. However, the owner was extremely unpleasant to her waitress, bordering on disrespectful in front of customers, which could be humiliating for the waitress. Given the owner's behavior, which clearly shows a lack of respect for her employees, I do not recommend this place.

23/04/2026: The new team is great, even if they're not quite as efficient as the old one yet—that should come with practice… but the new prices… the ice cream is more expensive than at the Tuileries Garden in Paris. Here, 3 scoops cost €7, at the Tuileries €5.50, and at €7 it's 5 scoops… something's not right here…

17/04/2026: My son and I ordered two hot American sandwiches. We thoroughly enjoyed them. They were huge and delicious.

07/04/2026: The staff are super friendly. You can sit both inside and outside. Definitely worth a visit for a short break.

11/10/2025: Huge disappointment. I ordered a scallop casserole with leeks: the leeks weren't cooked, nor were the potatoes (not listed on the menu). Furthermore, the dishes served looked nothing like the photos on TripAdvisor or Instagram. It's also a wine bar. From what I understand, there have been problems with the cook since a change of ownership. Avoid this place.

20/04/2026: We had a very pleasant meal at Brasserie de La Mer in Dives, a small, family-run brasserie. The owners are very friendly and attentive to customer requests. My husband asked if it was possible to make a "Calvados coffee" 😅. And the owner was able to make one for him (a first!), and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the children and the parents loved it. Excellent value for money! We highly recommend it!

10/04/2026: I would like to emphasize the excellent service I received at your establishment. The receptionist was exceptionally kind and professional. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. The food itself was absolutely not commensurate with the price: Flavor: The buffet and rice were completely bland. Technique: The salmon gratin was served with undercooked fish, which is a serious quality issue. Maintenance: Even the coffee was a disappointment, with a strong taste of limescale due to a poorly maintained machine. "Homemade" is a nice promise, but it requires a level of execution that I didn't find during my visit. It's regrettable, but I will not be returning.

17/04/2026: Nice bar and great food! Julien makes delicious and generous galettes and crêpes. Céline, who serves, is always smiling. Go there for a meal or to relax at the bar; a good time is guaranteed.

14/04/2026: An extremely unpleasant waiter who made my friends and me feel terrible. He complained several times that we were over the safety line with the road; it was only 2 or 3 cm, and we certainly weren't the only ones during peak hours. Waiters at other bars say it much more politely, but he said it very angrily. He then complained that there were six of us crammed around one table and asked us to move closer, which was impossible because of the people at the other tables who were spread out. We decided to quickly finish our drinks and leave. When the garbage truck came by, three people from our group were already up and waiting on the other side of the road. There were four of us when the waiter came to collect our drinks, and he made a sarcastic comment: "Ah, that's much better." If this is how customers are treated, then they can keep their unpleasant waiters.

16/03/2026: I used to go to this restaurant regularly because the setting is pleasant and the food is quite decent. The last time, I was deeply disappointed. The red meat was overcooked (it had to be sent back to the kitchen). The second time, it was fine. My skate was overcooked, so I left it. We also didn't order dessert. The waitress was barely friendly (no hard feelings, I left her a tip). I regretted this meal all the more because I was inviting a family member.

10/04/2026: A welcoming place, the owner is very funny and pleasant, the snacks are nice for a quick bite, I recommend it 100%, go there without hesitation!

27/04/2026: A very pleasant discovery. The mussels with Camembert were a delight, the galettes delicious, and the crêpes were the perfect ending to this holiday lunch. And the waiter's smile was truly delightful. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hôtel de Normandie! We were traveling by bike and were able to leave our bikes inside. The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. And we were even upgraded to a room with a sea view. We didn't try the restaurant. Despite the negative reviews (about the restaurant), go for the hotel!

29/04/2026: A perfect day trip, welcoming staff, and a vast beach steeped in history. I highly recommend it; the restaurant is also excellent!

19/04/2026: A wonderful two-night stay. The setting is peaceful and the view from the terrace is a real treat, especially at breakfast. The location is ideal for disconnecting. We leave with fantastic memories.

13/04/2026: Lovely setting, hotel with a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it's not being realized. Varied breakfast, very pleasant terrace, and a very large room. However, the housekeeping leaves much to be desired... there was no staff to clean during our stay. Stains on the armchairs and dust on the desk. It doesn't look clean. It's a real shame. Dogs pay an extra 10 euros per day. I find that a bit expensive. I won't be returning.
