03/09/2026: Yes, the view is incredible. The waiter was super friendly. The hot chocolate was delicious. However, the prices are completely out of line, even with the Deaucilla tax. An espresso is €5, a hot chocolate €11... and the menu clearly states you must order at least one drink per hour! It's a real shame for such an amazing place...

03/09/2026: A lovely, green rooftop. The setting is very pleasant, and naturally, that's reflected in the menu. The hot chocolate is very good, though.

30/08/2026: We came yesterday for a family drink at 2 PM. We had children and a baby with us. The other customers were completely drunk and aggressive. My son saw things he should never have seen, and he's traumatized by what happened yesterday. He's still talking about it today, and I quote: "Mommy, yesterday was the worst day of my life" (he's 5 years old). This place has definitely changed; I won't be going back. It's shameful to serve drunk customers and continue to give them alcohol...

26/04/2026: We stayed at the Manoir des Impressionnistes in Honfleur. The hotel is magnificent and located right on the seafront. We had a spacious room with a sea view. The restaurant has a Michelin star and is exceptional; we couldn't have been more satisfied. Special mention goes to the receptionists and concierge; their hospitality and service were top-notch and outstanding! Everything was perfect!

10/08/2026: Small restaurant run entirely by an older lady. The food was exquisite, but the portions are slightly smaller than we are used to in the Netherlands. However, it tastes many times better than at home. You do need patience, but you are rewarded. Highly recommended if you want to try a different cuisine while on holiday in Bayeux.

26/09/2026: Minimalist welcome, no smiles. Very disappointed with the mussels and fries à la normande! No cream, probably just watered-down béchamel sauce... when you try to make a comment, there's no response. It's like talking to a brick wall. I then ordered a crêpe because I was hungry, and I regretted it because it was soggy and tasteless. I was then forced to pay in cash because, coincidentally, my credit card was declined... in short, an experience best forgotten. 21/09/2026: A pleasant little terrace on the promenade. Friendly staff. We had a very good time.

23/09/2026: Seemed to be set up for the american visitors. Didn't hear a french voice all night and waiter spoke english from start. Exceedingly slow service. Was about half an hour before we even got a drink and another long wait to order some food. I was asked did i want my steak medium or well done. I said rare please. It came well done. My wife's chicken came in a revolting thick claggy white sauce. After the main course and with the wine all gone we went to pay without waiting to order a dessert ( included in my formule meal). Waiter dashed to bar. Why are we going. Said couldn't wait any longer cos had already been there over 2 hrs. No apology no nothing . He just walked off. We were charged in full but be sure no tip was left!

21/09/2026: Great food great service great wine. We had fish and chips as well as a steak. The 2 waiters were great they were fast and precise.

20/09/2026: Having a drink with a sea view is not possible here.

12/09/2026: I ordered the mussels marinière, they had no taste, were watery and very small, and were served without a spoon to turn them over. My wife ordered fish, and there was no bread served. Very disappointed.

17/05/2026: There were a large group of us, and everything was very good and plentiful.

14/05/2026: Fellow cyclists, don't hesitate to book a room in this hotel, the staff are very welcoming and accommodating in storing bicycles safely!

22/09/2026: I'm giving it a 1 because: - Regarding the food: I ordered a ham and Emmental cheese sandwich, and to put it simply, I didn't eat it. The Emmental and ham were completely squashed, as if someone had stepped on them, and the bread was soggy. I tasted it anyway, and it wasn't good at all; it tasted completely stale. Sorry. The muffin looked a bit tired but was passable. - The service: I was asked what I wanted without barely a greeting (or even a smile), and my sandwich, muffin, and drink were handed to me through the counter without even waiting for me to pay. Once I was at the register, still no greeting. I had to ask for a bag and a napkin, and I didn't get a bag. Oh well. And the atmosphere: there isn't one; everyone looks miserable. Sorry, I don't necessarily like leaving bad reviews, I did it so that you could take it into account and perhaps improve in the future thanks to it, good luck.

02/07/2026: I don't recommend this place. The appetizer and dessert buffets are mediocre for a restaurant. I eat better at home. You expect a minimum level of service.

11/06/2026: A very warm welcome, quick and efficient service. Helpful and attentive staff... Good home-style cooking. We highly recommend this place.
