18/01/2026: Sorry to be a downer, the products are fresh but the service is disastrous. We waited 15 minutes and the owner arrived and let his friends go ahead of everyone else. The other fishermen next door were much friendlier and didn't act like they owned the place...

01/11/2025: I came to get some bread this morning, and on the advice of the charming waitress I was tempted by 4 quiches which we enjoyed with friends as an aperitif, great, I will come back to try the coffee corner sometime!

13/09/2025: An excellent Breton cake (plain), a really friendly staff (which stood out compared to other establishments on the island). I really enjoyed it, whether it was for my morning coffee or my post-hike beer.

15/02/2026: We came to Cabourg for the February 14th weekend and discovered this little restaurant right next to our rental. The service was perfect, the food was excellent, the welcome was very warm, and we highly recommend it. Everything is homemade.

23/01/2026: There are few must-try restaurants in Cabourg, but this is one of them: a passionate chef dedicated to quality, quantity, and the balance of flavors and ingredients. Authentic and sincere cuisine. A must-try, and worth repeating without hesitation.

05/03/2026: A very bad meal: industrial ham cone, undercooked fries, béarnaise sauce that had been microwaved for too long, and an unpresentable and tasteless fish stew. We will not be returning, even though we live in Bayeux.

17/01/2026: Is the restaurant still open? We came last summer and loved it. We wanted to come back at the beginning of September, then again on the evening of the Christmas openings, and finally tonight, mid-January. Each time, we found the doors closed, despite having seen online that the restaurant was open. We hope we were just unlucky and can come back soon.

24/10/2025: The staff was unfriendly - it felt like they didn't like tourists. The food was poor in comparison of other places in Normandy. However, the location was good as right in the city centre and the place was generally very clean.

15/02/2026: Avoid at all costs: This is the worst all-you-can-eat restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food was cold, dried out, barely cooked, or overcooked. The cocktails were a joke—no flavor or freshness whatsoever, practically warm. I even found a hair in one of their desserts. There was very little choice in appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and they didn't replenish the drinks. Hygiene-wise, the appetizers (sushi, etc.) were placed next to the hot dishes, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. For an all-you-can-eat buffet, regular temperature checks should be done, but I didn't see a single one during the hour I was there. It was incredibly noisy with the music played way too loud, and the payment terminal broke down mid-payment, forcing me to use a bank transfer.

09/01/2026: An excellent bakery that took over from "Dupont avec un thé," offering very good bread and excellent pastries, especially the lemon, orange, and chocolate cakes. Several tables are available in each of their bakeries for enjoying tea.

03/01/2026: Excellent bakery, I'm giving it 4 stars because of the long wait, but the staff are friendly. The praline brioche was delicious. The frangipane galette des rois was also very good.

04/01/2026: Beautiful interior and a very warm, open welcome that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The service was kind, attentive, and helpful, and the amuse-bouche was a lovely touch. The oysters were very tasty, and the mussels were good as well — nicely filled, with a delicious sauce. The fries were a nice idea since they were made from fresh potatoes, not frozen ones, but unfortunately they were quite greasy, soft, and not crispy at all. The overall table presentation was slightly spoiled by a very basic bottled sparkling water, which didn’t match the otherwise elegant setting. The only real downside was a noticeable smell of dampness, which contrasted with the beautiful interior. Overall, the place has great potential.

03/01/2026: Impeccable service, one wonders how the chef managed to obtain the title of master restaurateur, 1 liter of Evian in plastic for 7 euros....

04/12/2024: Regular at this very good restaurant. Change of ownership since this summer and it has become overpriced for shoddy service. Even when it was pointed out at the cash register that the drinks served were at inappropriate prices, there was no reaction from the owner. Pizza and pasta no longer have anything to do with the establishment of the former manager who unfortunately left for Italy.

04/12/2024: Very disappointed with this restaurant which was very warm and offered very good dishes, well served and with great value for money. It’s a shame that the quality is declining with prices increasing, not to mention the limoncello at €9.50 per glass.

23/02/2026: The atmosphere is pleasant, thankfully, because the waiter is watching you closely, the food isn't always good, the hygiene needs improvement, and the first time you have to take your shoes off to go to the toilet, this restaurant is best forgotten.

23/02/2026: Even upon arrival, they wait outside to pressure customers. I advise against going there. I was fooled because the place seemed welcoming, but the quality is disappointing. Avoid it!

17/03/2026: As a resident of Ouistreham, I've been to the drive-thru several times and I wanted to congratulate the team because it's been a long time since I've had to check my order, as there are no mistakes. This is very rare at McDonald's. I highly recommend it.
