28/07/2026: Delicious food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the vegetables were a bit bland, and the salad had a somewhat under-seasoned, tasteless dressing. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The gazpacho was decent.

27/07/2026: We returned to this restaurant for lunch, a place we used to frequent with our children a long time ago. The food is excellent, homemade with fresh ingredients. The prices are very reasonable, and there's a good selection on the menu. The service is discreet yet quick, the portions are generous, and the dining room is spacious with an outdoor terrace and parasols. We'll be back with our children, who now have children of their own. They loved the Batman and Mickey pizzas, which are still on the menu. The only thing missing is a small pot of rillettes with crackers and gherkins as a complimentary dish.

21/06/2026: I thought I'd come occasionally… but they see me so often they should charge me rent! 😂 Always a fantastic welcome, a team with a great sense of humor, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. It feels just like home (but with better drinks and no dishes to wash). I love them and I recommend this place 100%! ❤️🍻

06/06/2026: Husband and wife team bringing culinary excellence to Caen. This is not artsy fartsy food but traditional French home cooking at its best. We just finished our meal and we are so pleased. The restaurant was packed and the co-owner Marie was out front taking care of everyone. Would definitely recommend.

14/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We first came by chance and enjoyed it so much that we returned a second time during our vacation. Very fresh oysters, excellent cheeses and charcuterie, all in an intimate setting far from touristy restaurants. The warm welcome from the servers and owners makes the experience even more enjoyable. An authentic place we'll gladly return to. Highly recommended!

12/06/2026: Truly wonderful French cuisine. With a menu featuring exactly the right combinations. And well-priced. The Entrecote is amazing. My wife loves fish and ordered the Gambas and oysters. Super fresh and great quality. The desserts offered just the right variety. Highly recommended. Do make a reservation for the evening. Very busy. Nice terrace right in the center.

07/08/2026: While on holiday in the area, and after visiting the Basilica of St. Thérèse, we stopped at this brasserie in the center of Lisieux, following recommendations and a Google review. The owner gave us a warm welcome, and the staff was pleasant. The dishes were generous and well-prepared. Excellent value for money. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it! 👍🏻

After three and a half hours stuck in traffic between Deauville and Honfleur, frustrated by the lack of parking, we decided to turn around and stop at the Auberge de la Tour. It was the best decision of our chaotic day! Pure bliss: a warm welcome, very helpful and friendly staff, and a divine meal! The chef even came to greet us at the end of our meal. Thank you for welcoming us at such a late hour and for delighting our taste buds! We will definitely be back.

18/04/2026: It starts with a simple and warm welcome in a pleasant setting. Then a thoughtful touch: "That was the last of the wine in the bottle, so I gave you more." Then comes the delicious, simple (without being simplistic) and high-quality cuisine. Even the tap water is good, as is the background music. All for €17 (€5 extra for dessert). You can also eat outside on a historic street in Caen that's not as "cold" as its name might suggest.

31/07/2026: As a frequent business traveler, I recommend this hotel, which offers good value for money. The staff at reception and in the restaurant are very pleasant and responsive. Parking is easy. My room was clean and the bed comfortable. It might seem trivial, but the shower head has good water pressure, which is a nice touch. Well done!
