20/07/2026: It was more than just a meal; it was a culinary adventure filled with discoveries, harmony, and contrasts. Even the wines paired with the dishes were excellent and well-chosen. The service was impeccable. Chloé, the owner and waitress, was incredibly kind. The setting was intimate and pleasant. I will definitely return.

08/07/2026: Fleur-de-Sel is a gem of a restaurant in Haut Cagnes-sur-Mer. We dined as a party of 6, taking roughly 1/3 of the covers available in this small, intimate, venue. Owner-run, with the chef's partner doubling up as a front-of-house, server, sommelier (with exceptionally interesting and well-chosen wines) and a pastry chef of note, the food can best be classified as modern European; but with intense care taken to presentation and combinations and texture. We ate the 4-course menu de gustation, and not a dud among the courses (they readily and amiably accommodated the eating preferences of 2 of the party). The restaurant is certainly 'star-worthy' -- it will not, sadly; not because of the food or the venue, but because of the silly additional extras (think, folding napkins if a guest leaves the table) that a restaurant of this size and staffing simply could not achieve. Utterly memorable.

A loyal customer for many years, it's always a pleasure to return with friends or family 🤗 The Niçoise specialties are delicious (pissaladière, socca, stuffed vegetables from Nice, and gnocchi/ravioli dishes fresh from the oven)! Very friendly servers and a welcoming atmosphere—everything is there for a great time 👍

15/07/2026: I saw positive reviews about breakfast but definitely it was not the case for me. I paid 10 euros for ONE slice of a cheap supermarket bread, not a nice sourdough from a boulangerie, and also “hotel jam” and hotel butter, and a very milky coffee. Nothing local made. Very disappointing. Service was okay but I wouldn’t go back.

11/07/2026: We went to the beach club and had lunch. Our waitress Maud went above and beyond. They even spritz us with Evian during our lunch to keep us cool. The lunch was fantastic and we had the absolute best food and time. Grateful for phenomenal service 🥰🥰

27/07/2026: For Marseille, I think this is one of the best pan bagnats you can find. However, there are several drawbacks. For me, it's not a true Niçoise pan bagnat. First of all, "pan bagnat" literally means "wet bread." The problem mainly stems from the bread used: it's too soft to begin with. Once soaked, it becomes far too soggy and loses the texture that gives a real Niçoise pan bagnat its charm, traditionally made with a more rustic bread and a firmer crust. It also lacks certain ingredients that contribute to the authenticity and success of a true Niçoise pan bagnat. Ultimately, it's a good sandwich, and in Marseille, it's one of the best places to find it. However, if you're looking for the true taste and texture of a traditional Niçoise pan bagnat, this one falls a bit short.

28/07/2026: I celebrated my birthday there last night. Staff are superfruendly, the lamb was great and the whole experience is a must try.

01/08/2026: My colleagues and I had a wonderful time at Fonétic. We booked in advance for dinner for four. The chef and waitress were very friendly, the food was excellent, but the highlight was definitely the menu written entirely phonetically! Quite a puzzle, but we had a good laugh reading it 😄 We highly recommend this restaurant!

24/06/2026: We were on vacation in Vence from Japan and this is the best restaurant in Vence. You can enjoy wonderful food in a wonderful atmosphere. We ordered the 5-course meal, and the fresh vegetables, fish, and meat were all fresh ingredients, and the cooking was elaborate. The restaurant's signature butter is also a highlight.

26/05/2026: Had an experience with front desk. Upon realizing they had erred with my parking arrangements, instead of apologizing or acknowledging the mistake, front desk staff was dismissive and stated what was the big deal- I’d just be paying a few more euros. I was surprised by the response - obviously a few euros is something I could cover, but the reaction was rude and condescending. Very inappropriate response to a guest. Just acknowledge the mistake - don’t brush it away as unimportant. Arthur/Anton could use some more training on how to handle guest services.

The atmosphere from the moment I entered the restaurant, the attentiveness of the waiters and sommelier, made for a truly enjoyable time. Of course, the food was delicious. However, since I had the full course with wine pairings, I was quite full towards the end, and it was a shame that I couldn't eat anything else in the team room. If you go to Nice, you should definitely try it.
