15/11/2025: After a short hour's walk from Oberbruck along the stone path (there's more than just that one path), you'll reach the Auberge du Neuweiller, a magnificent spot perfect for daydreaming. You can enjoy a nice beer by the lake and savor traditional Alsatian cuisine. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Please note they don't accept credit cards. I highly recommend this place; it's truly relaxing.

15/03/2026: A lovely little hotel right in the heart of town. All the wineries, restaurants, and vineyards are easily accessible on foot. It's also a short walk to Hohen Königsburg Castle. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

15/03/2026: We stayed for two nights. There was nothing to complain about; the reception was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. Dinner at the Hotel Munch was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

15/02/2026: The meal was very good, and the staff were happy to answer questions, but the service was rushed; we were out in less than an hour. And above all, don't expect any warm service once you've paid. A simple "thank you and goodbye" wouldn't have been out of place after spending a fortune.

14/02/2026: Very overpriced. Not worth a try. Strange service: after starters, waiter left dirty fork and knife for the main dish not daring (until I requested) changing it for a news clean one. Couple of min after I was seated, I was informed kitchen will be closed in 5 minutes. After this place I got a feeling there is no food culture neither savior vivre. Disappointing.

02/03/2026: I love discovering new places, those spots where you can have a great time. The Caveau Saint Pierre is a perfect example. Located on the riverbank, in a traditional Alsatian setting, you're greeted politely and kindly. The cuisine is Alsatian, and we ate a typical local dish that our mothers used to make for us—though not nearly as good—40 years ago (I'll let you do the math on that): vol-au-vent with Alsatian pasta. It was delicious, a rare and precious trip down memory lane. Frankly, while there's an explosion of those cheap, impersonal restaurants trying to convince you that you're going to eat the food of our childhood, come to Alsace and you'll see how refined and flavorful it is. With that, I opted for the amazing Grinch cocktail! And what a surprise the crème brûlée was, made right before your eyes. In short, my sweetheart, with her lovely green eyes, and I adored our meal in this tavern so much that I'm keeping my review serious. It's good, it's effective, everything we love!

31/12/2025: A city very popular with tourists, it's difficult to find a restaurant for lunch. We finally stumbled upon this one, which promised us a table but asked us to wait, which is understandable given their workload. We waited patiently for 10 minutes or more in front of the sign until we returned, having heard nothing. We finally realized that our table had been given to other people without informing us. While some might be forgiven, good manners weren't their priority. We recommend Le Tire-Bouchon; it was delicious and the staff were welcoming.

27/12/2025: Typical tourist restaurant; they certainly make their living off that. It sorely lacks hospitality, smiles, and friendliness; the food is barely prepared. Sorry, I couldn't find any positive points. And I feel compelled to make this public.

08/03/2026: We came to eat today, thanks to a Wonderbox gift voucher. We had a lovely time. A great meal with a gourmet burger made with delicious local ingredients. The welcome was warm and the staff were very pleasant and attentive! Thank you.

26/02/2026: A very cozy little restaurant in a cellar with friendly staff, very generous and delicious dishes.

21/02/2026: A magnificent experience in a bright and elegant setting! The foie gras was simply delicious with its fruit and brioche-style gouglhof... the chef's dish was perfect: perfectly cooked meat with spaetzle and morel sauce. Their late-harvest Gewürztraminer was a delight. The children's menu and the vol-au-vent were superb, and the portions were generous. This restaurant deserves stars!

21/02/2026: The main course and starter were very good, everything was fine, but the waiter needs to be fired! He was so rude, sad to look at, and he answered very rudely. He told me to be quiet while taking notes... he's condescending. The owner should give them a good talking-to because it's a very nice establishment. I'm talking about the older waiter; the younger one was polite and decent. Anyway, I won't be going back. It's a shame, I was a regular customer once a week... but I didn't appreciate the way he spoke to me in front of my wife and children. I'm still giving it a good review, but the waiters really need to be re-evaluated, as mentioned in other reviews, so I agree!

16/03/2026: Unfortunately, the Backoeffe were basically just fried potatoes and goulash – nothing special, but not bad either. The Fleischnakas were just like German Maultaschen, but drier, and the dough itself wasn't fresh and was hard. There were three large pieces in total, sitting in a rather uninspiring vegetable broth. Traditional ambiance, but overpriced.

15/03/2026: It’s a traditional Alsatic restaurant. The food and wine were very good.The staff was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend if you visit Colmar.
