07/12/2025: The staff wasn't friendly. The pastries were nothing special, and we had to go upstairs because there was no more room downstairs. The cleanliness was really lacking. Upstairs, there was a member of staff doing paperwork at their desk, and the cook was listening to music.

15/12/2025: Passing through the region, we booked a table at this restaurant. Warm welcome Lovely decor, chalet atmosphere We had sauerkraut and fleischnackas as our main courses, delicious For dessert, an excellent and generously portioned Colonel sorbet, and I had a homemade chocolate Liégeois with homemade hot chocolate poured into the glass—incredible! Very good All this accompanied by a good bottle of Burgundy (Coteaux Bourguignon), an excellent wine! Of course, we'll be back!!!! Thank you!

11/09/2024: Excellent pub with a friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff is particularly friendly and always ready to advise you. During happy hour, the beer prices are very affordable, which is a real plus for enjoying an evening with friends without breaking the bank. The choice of beers is wide and varied, with options for all tastes, from classics to the most original. An address not to be missed for lovers of good beers and pleasant moments!

06/12/2025: We had booked a table for 4 people, and upon arrival we were told "limited menu due to Christmas markets" – this should have been specified when booking! The owners are kind but should be able to enjoy their well-deserved retirement.

The facade curiously displays “Cooking without a recipe”, it is absolutely necessary for the cook to find one, to be avoided

16/09/2024: A shame!!!!! We came to the restaurant at 12:10 p.m. without a reservation. Two minutes later, the waitress checked her reservations again, a few seconds later her colleague picked up the phone, and after checking her book our waitress said in front of us that there is one table left, but for customers on the phone!! So if you are not friends or regulars, you cannot come and eat there Totally incredible situation, I travel, I am present in the restaurant, and we prefer to accept a customer by telephone after my request!!!!

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at our Christmas Eve dinner. The welcome was exceptional. The waitress was incredibly kind, her wine recommendations were impeccable, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients were perfect. There's absolutely nothing to criticize. The dishes are prepared right before your eyes by the chef, who clearly loves his work. A lovely little touch upon arrival (a box of chocolates) was a delightful surprise. We drove an hour and a half to spend this unforgettable romantic evening together, and we will be back as soon as possible.

13/09/2025: We arrived at 8 p.m. and were turned away from the three-quarters empty dining room, on the pretext that there was nothing left in the kitchen! A Saturday night! Better to go sell bracelets on the beach!

16/12/2024: Good morning Relatively mixed. The mussels weren't bad but the quantity remains totally disrespectful coming from a large group! The waitress was very good! I still remain disappointed and will not come back...

14/12/2024: Not at all happy 20€ for a small square of salmon and a few mussels I left feeling hungry this is not normal, I asked for bread just to eat at least a few things I was told that There was some cooking but we were never served it, plus we had to wait 50 minutes before being served, only positive point the waiter was friendly.

25/12/2025: A very disappointing New Year's Eve dinner – unacceptable value for money We chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve meal, expecting a festive experience. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. From the start, the "champagne" served was clearly not champagne. The appetizers were obviously subpar. The ravioli arrived dry and cold. For the main course, the scallops were cooked properly, but the risotto was overcooked and, like the rest of the meal, served cold. A major hygiene issue was the waiter handling the cheese directly with his hands, which is unacceptable in a restaurant, especially during a festive meal. The dessert, a Baked Alaska, was the final straw. They attempted to flambé it with cold alcohol from a can, which, of course, failed to ignite. The omelet had a strong, unpleasant freezer taste. All this for an exorbitant price, completely out of proportion to the quality offered. It clearly felt like a tourist trap, focusing more on the event than the food. The service was very inconsistent: some servers were charming, others bordering on rude. As we were leaving, we were asked how our meal went. When we replied, "Not very well," the server left without asking any further questions. To top it all off, we were sick the following night, which made this experience even more regrettable. A restaurant to avoid, especially for a celebratory meal when you expect something completely different. Very disappointed.

15/09/2024: restaurant a rajeunir aussi vieux que la clientel avons oris un amer biere et un campari un cordon bleu pas fait maison ??? et moi des rognons moutardes la quantitee a carrement ete divisée de moitié pour 22euros la réponse du chef ( sic) c est servit au grammage on marche sur la tete , veuillez prévenir les clients de combien de gramme on a droit bref on y retourneras plus malgré le personnel sympa et en plus les vins sont hors de prix a bon entendeur

26/08/2024: We went to eat on Saturday the 24th for lunch, my friend had specified when booking that it was a birthday. My friend was generally happy with his meat, but the sauce was thrown on top (not very appealing at all), there is a lot to complain about in terms of the presentation of the plates. As for me, I took a bite from the queen. Same in terms of presentation, the crust was bathed in the sauce, so it was anything but crispy and no matter how hard I looked, apart from chicken, dumplings (not homemade at all) and dark mushrooms, I didn't find the right one. smallest piece of veal. In my opinion, this is the basis of the bite to the queen. I make it myself and before that my mother and my grandmother and there has always been veal in the queen's bite. And to top it all off, the bite and everything on the plate was very "bland". In the green salad we received, we tried to pick out some nice leaves, as the outer pieces of the salad were also served to us surrounded by "BLACK". The only thing that was really very good was their homemade Knaepflé. We left very disappointed, the bill was on the other hand "salty" compared to what we consumed. My birthday went to the " trap" and when my friend spoke about it to the waitress, to "consolate" us, we were offered coffees. The waitress was exquisitely kind, as for the owner, averagely, it even seems to me that she Is it allowed to make a remark when we leave the restaurant like: “Well, it was up to them to remind us of the anniversary” ????? There I think I have done the tour, everything is said and what is quite certain is that we will never go back!!!!! And we will advise everyone around us not to eat at this place.

24/09/2024: I went there for dinner with a colleague I ordered a fish sauerkraut good bad luck no haddock fish which gives this particular scent and taste we double the portions of fish in the salmon zander dish I appreciate the gesture however the sauerkraut is not bad the dish is well garnished but lacks a little refinement. I have already eaten fish sauerkraut that was a bit better. The salad ordered is certainly large but slightly cooked. Too bad for traditional Alsatian cuisine, there are little things to improve. The staff is friendly, the setting is also...
