28/07/2026: Location From the outside, the restaurant looks rather unassuming and small. It doesn't have its own parking; you have to park along the street. Inside, on the ground floor, there's a large and a small dining room. Outside, there's a small, simple self-service terrace right by the street. Behind the building, there's a small covered outdoor area, as well as a two-story, cozy garden with tables, chairs, and a few sofas, nestled in the shade of the trees. Service: The service was consistently friendly and the staff occasionally cracked a joke without being intrusive. Most of the time, someone came immediately when we needed something, and the waiter was very attentive and anticipated our needs. Food: We opted for the four-course surprise menu (and made some requests). We were truly spoiled for choice, in the best possible way! The portions were particularly generous. The cold tomato soup was delicious and beautifully presented. The second course was a similar salad with various cold meats (crudités). Unfortunately, the main course didn't quite live up to the high standard of the previous courses: While the veal steak was enormous and the fries perfect, the meat had been cooked a touch too long and was therefore a bit dry, and the vegetables were already slightly brown from the heat. The sauce was a little thick and lacked a certain something. The dessert plate, with brownie, mango ice cream, blueberry cake, and chocolate mousse, was a complete success. I especially enjoyed the lightness of the chocolate mousse, with its hint of orange. Conclusion/Criticism: What I disliked (as I've experienced elsewhere) were the restrooms! They were rather oddly located in a small, former shed in the garden. The men's restroom had two urinals, but both were out of order. This meant there was only one men's restroom for the ENTIRE restaurant, which was also used by the staff. A wait was therefore inevitable. There were at least two restrooms for women. Regarding cleanliness, I've definitely seen better; the fixtures, in particular, were dull and splashed with grime. On the plus side, the food (the menu) is truly excellent value for money! The gravel garden, with its many nooks and various seating areas under the trees, is definitely worth a visit on warm days! I will certainly go back. Note for guests with mobility issues: If you walk around the left side of the building, you'll reach the garden at ground level. The steps behind the house in the garden are quite high in places.

14/07/2026: Good restaurant, we had the four-course meal for €42 and were satisfied. Nice, cozy garden to relax in. Restrooms are clean. Everyone was very friendly.

15/08/2026: Don't go there during a heatwave! 36°C outside, a sign says the room is air-conditioned but they don't use the air conditioning!!! The heat inside the room is unbearable, windows open with the sun beating down, it's hellish... When we mentioned it to the owner, he replied that "it's pointless"... Disappointed by this unpleasant welcome, as customers for years, tables of about 10 people on numerous occasions, and when we told him that if we had known he wouldn't use the air conditioning, we wouldn't have come, his very inspired response was "no problem"... Avoid at all costs... What a shame...

24/07/2026: We were there by bike during the Tour de France. We just wanted a drink, but were consistently ignored. After calling out several times, we were told that we couldn't have a drink without food. The response was outrageous. The terrace wasn't even full, and we sat at a small table for two that wasn't reserved or set. So much for being friendly. Absolutely unfriendly. We had been there three years ago with our bikes, and it was great then. That's why we wanted to go back. But we'll definitely never go back.

06/07/2026: We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant quite by chance on our way to Switzerland. The food was truly delicious, and the lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming.

20/07/2026: La Table des Malker is a very good restaurant in the center of Munster. The service is friendly and charming. The menu is traditional and delicious. We really enjoyed the atmosphere on the comfortable terrace with its antique furniture. We will gladly return. Thank you for everything 💚

A wonderful welcome, original, succulent, and refreshing dishes… accompanied by lovely wines perfectly paired with the food… We discovered your cuisine at the pop-up restaurant during the Salt Marsh Festival in Soultzmatt and wanted to extend our experience for a special occasion… congratulations to your entire team! 👍👌🤩🤩🤩

24/05/2026: An exceptional evening for a very special birthday! We were at L’Alchémille in Kaysersberg last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by this exceptional place: an elegant and welcoming setting, both modern and respectful of the surrounding nature. The service was simply perfect: friendly, warm, precise, and highly professional. The staff are attentive, discreet when necessary, and always available, with that Alsatian "verbindlich" touch that immediately puts you at ease. As for the food, it’s a true culinary journey. The dishes are meticulously prepared, innovative, and delicate, while beautifully showcasing local produce. You can taste the work of Chef Jérôme Jaegle and his love for nature: a wonderful discovery of new scents and flavors thanks to the remarkable use of aromatic herbs and seasonal ingredients. Each bite is a pleasant surprise, refined and full of creativity, without ever being overdone. We had a magical evening, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant that truly deserves its reputation. A gastronomic experience that combines elegance, authenticity, and emotion. We will definitely be back!

17/12/2025: Review of the restaurant only. Weekday lunch. Generous portions, decent atmosphere and service, prices are average. Well-prepared and tasty Alsatian specialties. The beckaoffa and the bouchée à la reine are worth trying. Returned in early December 2025 for dinner. It's really good.

26/07/2026: A magical place with a warm welcome from the owners, and what can I say about the cuisine that transported us to the beautiful region of Alsace? I highly recommend it if you're passing through Ribeauvillé.

09/08/2026: We both started with the onion soup, which was incredibly watery and tasteless. Even adding salt barely helped. I had the Wiener Schnitzel with fries, and somehow the fries were less crispy than boiled potatoes. My friend had the stew, which was decent, but tasted like something mass-produced rather than freshly prepared. Overall, this was by far the most below-average meal we had during our trip, especially considering how expensive it was. Unfortunately, the service made the experience even worse. The waitresses were rude and unfriendly, and we seriously considered leaving multiple times. As we had just arrived in the city and, with everything else fully booked, decided to stay. Honestly, I would recommend staying away from this place

15/08/2026: The food here was fantastic - a small menu, so they do everything very well. We were especially impressed by the wine selection, which had a really unique mix of wines from the region as well as the rest of france. You can actually walk into their cave and pick your wine yourself. Then if you want to take some home, its 30% off of whatever price you see. We had a cocktail each, a great bottle of biodynamic orange wine, and ordered almost one of everything in the food menu (salad, bo la lot, the comtois flambé, fries, cheese plate and the mousse), all of it waa great. Also took a great bottle of red home for 18eur so overall very reasonably priced especially for the quality. Would absolutely recommend.

11/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were very well prepared. The Vietnamese dish, Pho Ga, in Alsace, was incredible and delicious (according to a Vietnamese person). The service was efficient and friendly. I highly recommend it.
