15/09/2026: A restaurant like few (if any) I've ever experienced, everything is perfect. The place is unique, favoring local sourcing. The experience is truly enjoyable, the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. Unlimited service, the staff are incredibly helpful, and the price is more than reasonable. I will definitely be back.

27/09/2026: A very warm welcome. The owner and the waitress are very attentive to the customers, the food is generous and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. If I return to Taninges, this is the restaurant I'll stop at.

18/09/2026: Looking for a meal between seasons, found great people serving delicious food. The chickenburger and curry fries were on point, the beer on tap was great, and the final espresso finished a perfect dining experience. Cozy cafe atmosphere, and service was impressive with several tavles in service and only 2 employees working hard to keep everyone well fed. Might buy a home here, and if I do, this will be a regular visit.

05/09/2026: I ate a Tajine with sausage in this place and it gave me food poisoning. I was feeling healthy and hungry before going to this restaurant and then after I went to bed this whole thing started so I assume that food is the culprit. My friends that got a steak and burger were fine. I couldn’t hike the next day and had to pay $450 to get an uber to catch up with my friends. I even had awful stomach ache the following days.

24/09/2026: It's always a treat to go to this restaurant, even if, due to inflation, the prices are becoming...serious. Special mention goes to their ever-popular Grand Marnier soufflé, which never gets old.

23/09/2026: Excellent! A lovely little touch for my birthday, thank you so much! The appetizers were very good. For the main course, I highly recommend the veal. The service was pleasant, friendly, and very welcoming. A wonderful time, thank you!

18/07/2026: One of the best meals I've had in France! The tuna poke bowl was incredibly fresh, and the beef was excellent! Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Sophie for her warm welcome and attentive service. It's rare to find a restaurant experience of this caliber where everything is perfect from start to finish. We'll be back, and I highly recommend Le Bistrot du Rhône! Thanks again!

25/08/2026: Family dinner. The food was excellent and we had a very pleasant time. The selection of Savoy wines allowed us to discover two real gems. It's an incident with the service that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. We took our order in advance by phone to allow us to plan ahead, which was fine in principle. However, the starter wasn't what we had ordered. The waiter then insisted he was right, that his order was correct, and that we had all made a mistake collectively (there were nine of us!). Not a word of apology and absolutely no humility! If we weren't on vacation and looking to spend an evening with family, you would have had nine €60 menus on your hands! I thank our waitress who took over for the rest of the meal...

20/09/2026: Every year I go to the Savoyard Book Fair in Clermont for Heritage Day. This year, my husband and I chose to have lunch at the inn. What a wonderful discovery! The dishes were incredibly original, a feast for the eyes and a delight for the palate.

09/09/2026: If you go, you'll find it hard to leave! The welcome is wonderfully genuine. The menu is limited because everything is homemade. It's a real treat. Everything is done to make your visit unforgettable: the food, the music, and even pets are welcome. Well done, Lisa and François!
