01/08/2026: A lovely spot for lunch on the terrace. Very quiet, since the urban planners redesigned the entire traffic flow on Rue Solférino. Pleasant service.

20/08/2026: €28 for 4 potatoes and 5 scallops. I don't know if that's expensive, but I was perhaps expecting a more generous portion. If you have a moderate appetite, it's fine, but if you're a big eater, you'll still be hungry! It's up to you :) It was still delicious though!
15/08/2026: Excellent welcome and service! The location is also great.
A little disappointed with the food, particularly the Welsh rarebit with Maroilles cheese, whose sauce was a bit runny.

14/08/2026: We came for lunch on Tuesday and received a very warm welcome. The staff is very friendly and the food is truly excellent! We had a wonderful meal, with a delicious main course and dessert. 😋
We ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce and the profiteroles for dessert, which I highly recommend you try!

I went to this restaurant because I'd seen it on Kitchen Nightmares, and since I'm on vacation in the area, I wanted to check it out.
My son and I received a very warm welcome. The dining room is exactly like the one on the show.
The food is very good.
I ate the dish that Mr. Etchebest had made.
I had a very good meal; it's a shame I didn't see Kelly 😀.
The owner is pleasant, as is the waiter.
I'll go back.
PS: I hope the gentleman who fainted is feeling better. 🙂

07/07/2026: The food was very good, but I was disappointed by the limited selection… we ordered at 1 p.m. and there were already no dishes left on the menu. As I don't eat starchy foods for medical reasons, I only asked for salad (the only vegetable available) and I only received three leaves to accompany my meat for €22. This is the first time this has ever happened to me in Lille!
I would still recommend it because the atmosphere and service were nice, but I won't be able to go back…

28/08/2026: Excellent meal, traditional cuisine. Very disappointed by the wine: carafe wine is to be avoided!!!! As a connoisseur, I can confirm that this wine was diluted with water... The establishment didn't charge us for it, since we didn't drink it. So I was "probably" right to complain... Opt for a bottle of wine instead....otherwise, nice decor, good traditional cuisine
