08/08/2026: No toppings on the pizza, the plate was full but a third was just dough, the Caesar salad was just lettuce and shredded onions, so 34 euros for very little topping is expensive.

11/07/2026: This was a wonderful visit, not planned, as we were on a coachtrip direction home with packed lunch in hand. Followed internet restaurants open after our visit of the town. Pleasant surprise...even though we were earlier than normal restaurant eating hour's, we explained we were on a coachtrip with set departure times, we were met by Elaine who looked after our individual demandes rapidly & we really felt at home. I can strongly recommend this restaurant as a must if you are in this town!

27/06/2026: Lovely friendly lady running the place today. Unfortunately, the chef was ill but she quite happily suggested I go to the bakery next door buy something and come back to eat it in the cool cafe. Obviously, I bought a couple of drinks.

05/08/2026: I'm not going to talk about the hotel itself, I don't know it. I'm going to talk about the food, the atmosphere, the welcome... It feels good, like home. For lunch, I had reserved the chicken tagine. It was delicious, but, to my great regret, I couldn't finish it. Too much for me. The portions are generous, just like the staff and the owners. Generous, smiling, and in good spirits. It's a place that makes you want to go back. And don't even get me started on the evenings at Les Platanes. We always have a great time there.

04/08/2026: More than mediocre! €43 for 3 slices of melon with rind + 2 slices of vacuum-packed cured ham, all served in a shallow bowl mixed with salad 😳 The ribeye steak was thankfully rare, but so thin it was like shoe leather! Chestnut tiramisu? Nope, not that! The service was incredibly slow; the waiter was working alone and clearly did his best, sweating profusely. The Perrier and fruit salad were fine, though.

28/07/2026: Le Patio, the perfect restaurant for a delicious seafood meal! A delight from the warm welcome to the little coffee. Not a single flaw. Arriving around 9 pm, the three of us wanted to share a pleasant moment over a seafood meal to end the day on a high note. We were drawn to the chalkboard menu, which read "fresh seafood from Grau du Roi." All we could do was hope there would be a spot for us despite the late hour and the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, just going with the flow... Jackpot! We were told a maximum wait of 10 minutes, and we didn't wait a second longer! The wait was more than respected, the welcome was warm and friendly, and we were given a small table on the dock. We were thrilled! For an aperitif, we enjoyed homemade iced tea and a delicious cocktail! We whetted our appetites with flavorful, fragrant mussels (a great start to our seafood meal). For the main courses, cuttlefish, octopus, and rouille graulenne were all equally delicious. A real treat for all three of us. Not a word was spoken at the table, our eyes shining with delight! We knew we were at our peak and that the memory was being etched into our minds! The desserts were no less impressive. The little one adored his pistachio crème brûlée, fresh from the oven, and the petits fours in the gourmet coffee that we shared were a far cry from the ubiquitous panna cotta and ice cream. Financier, brownie, waffle, crêpe, apricot muffin: generous and flavorful! Even the coffee was good (rare enough to mention) and served in a beautiful cup 😉 In short, a wonderful time for the three of us, one we will remember. A big thank you to the whole team for the smiles, the good humor, the professionalism, and the quality of the menu. Don't change a thing. Until next time.

18/08/2026: A true delight for the taste buds with this authentic, home-style cooking made with fresh ingredients. My favorite was the eggplant and brandade mille-feuille. The setting was also very pleasant and peaceful! I highly recommend it!

10/08/2026: A very warm welcome, tables in a lovely garden with a pergola, beautifully decorated and filled with flowers. Excellent traditional cuisine and generous portions. Highly recommended for food lovers and those who appreciate local produce!

01/08/2026: A lovely hidden gem. I am a vegetarian and a coeliac and eating out is really hard in France - so I felt so lucky to find this place. Everything in it is 100% gluten free! The food was delicious, fresh and so tasty. The pizza crust was even better than a normal one, really full of flavour and with a good texture, and the roasted veggies were caramelized to perfection. You could tell it was made with lots of love. The owner is the person who serves you and also cooks and she does it with a mix of amusement and kindness. Since she is making everything to order it takes a little bit but it’s so worth it. A true boss lady! Also, in a time where all restaurants look the same I appreciated that this place felt and looked just like being home. Merci pour ce délicieux repas. 💚

16/07/2026: The food was extremely good, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The dining room and patio are truly beautiful, but the restaurant is difficult to find, and the exterior doesn't live up to what's inside!

10/07/2026: A truly wonderful discovery. The setting is delightful, and the experience was impeccable from start to finish. We particularly appreciated the exquisite presentation, the precise cooking, and above all, the exceptional quality of the sauces, which added a great deal of elegance and depth to the dishes. The flavor combinations were delicate and highly successful, with a special mention for the mint-chocolate pairing in the dessert, which was subtle, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. A refined, creative, and sensitive cuisine, where you can feel the genuine care taken with every detail. A truly wonderful restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend.
