25/07/2026: We were there for dinner. The pasta meals are quiet special one, so not the ones I knew. We liked it, but for the price I expected more in taste and also in quantity. The staff was very friendly and they understand also English. I prefer more authentic Italians.

I booked the patio area for my birthday party, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my expectations in every way. Jacqueline created an exceptional decoration. Philippe treated us to a delicious meal. All the guests were so happy. We had a wonderful day. I will definitely return for future events. Thank you to the entire Castel team for your kindness and professionalism.

25/07/2026: Great restaurant in a very nice little medieval town. They have a pleasant terrace and when we were there there was live music to enjoy in front. Everything we ordered was good but I particularly liked the Ravioles du Dauphine.

02/08/2026: The food is good and the service is excellent. It's worth taking the time to avoid just walking into the first restaurant you see and getting lost in the town of Aigues-Mortes. Long live 100% homemade cuisine! If I didn't live so far away, I'd be a regular.

25/07/2026: While on holiday in the area, we stumbled upon this gem: a restaurant and delicatessen in one. The young woman who served us was extremely kind and efficient. The homemade dishes were exquisite, and the prices were unbeatable. We'll be back as soon as possible. Best of luck!

06/08/2026: The food was truly excellent; a big thank you to the chef for the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired: the staff could be more attentive and welcoming. On the other hand, the owner is a very pleasant and friendly woman. The biggest drawback was the heat in the dining room: there wasn't even a single fan, which made the meal quite uncomfortable. The prices aren't particularly low, and at this price point, one expects at least a minimum level of comfort. Installing a few fans would be a small improvement that would greatly enhance the customer experience. I hope this will be addressed in the future.

Victoria offers excellent advice on wines and dishes, and Nicolas, the chef, masterfully blends flavors. Take the time to savor and enjoy. Time flies, and our taste buds are delighted. And what makes the experience even more special is the family story behind the food: the mother provides service with genuine kindness, exceptional attentiveness, and a true sense of hospitality, while her son, in the kitchen, brings talent, precision, and creativity to every dish. A place I recommend without hesitation.
