26/02/2026: I've been there several times. Nice brasserie. Simple yet effective cuisine. Beautiful terrace. The staff, the welcome, and the service are AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! 🏃‍♀️🏃 That's an understatement. Being a waiter or restaurant manager is a profession... Something to think about for the season that's fast approaching 😉

08/02/2026: It had been two or three years since I'd last eaten there, and the menu has changed quite a bit. The service was good, provided by a very pleasant and smiling young man. However, the pizzas we ate were frozen pizzas from a supermarket or somewhere similar. What's certain is that they weren't homemade. It's a shame to go to a restaurant and eat like that.

21/03/2026: A very disappointing experience at this restaurant on March 20, 2026, at 12:45 PM and we left around 2:19 PM! See receipt! Upon our arrival with my husband, we received no greeting from the servers, and don't worry, they certainly noticed us!! In fact, we were the only attractive people on the terrace, where there was a palpable sense of envy, let's just say it was a spa-like atmosphere!!! This immediately gave a bad impression. This was our fourth visit!! We were seated from the start at a poorly located table, in favor of cafeteria-style tables with groups of people—shameful!!—in the shade, even though several sunny seats were available. We clearly felt that certain customers (groups, older people) were being given preferential treatment. The service was extremely slow, with a significant wait before being served. Fortunately, the server who took care of us and the payment was decent, but this did not make up for the rest of the experience. Regarding the food, a huge disappointment: the quality was very questionable. The meat didn't seem fresh, and the salad, advertised with "toast," was just plain white bread. Nothing like what was described. Most seriously, we both got sick after the meal, strongly suggesting food poisoning. Finally, the behavior of a staff member—an old waiter wearing a sleeveless puffer jacket, his face red, and a gold watch with a blue dial (so management could find him)—was unacceptable. He made shocking remarks, saying he only wanted to serve women, without any shame whatsoever. This kind of attitude is inappropriate and unacceptable in this type of establishment. The price was exorbitant: 59 euros for two meager dishes and two coffees! It's highway robbery! Between the lack of professionalism, the excessive wait, the poor quality of the food, and the hygiene issues, we absolutely do not recommend this establishment and we will never set foot in it again! This so-called restaurant has become a canteen; avoid it immediately, keep walking, it'll save you a stomachache!!

15/03/2026: The place is warm and welcoming, centrally located and convenient, the menu includes local specialties but not only, average prices, we had a good dinner.

02/02/2026: A great little restaurant. Very cosy atmosphere. Staff friendly and although we were doing 'Frenglish' they were happy to communicate in French and English during our meal. We had a light lunch and enjoyed it so much, booked for the same evening for drinks and desserts... and ended up having another full meal. Excellent value. Visit date January 2026.

30/10/2025: A must-visit and truly authentic place! A man who cooks with heart, care, and creativity! I was welcomed with great care and attention, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I highly recommend it! Thank you again for your hospitality!

The service was excellent, with a very attentive waitress and a chef who readily helped out in the dining room. And to top it all off, the dishes and pizzas were delicious and generous. It was perfect!

31/10/2025: We're on holiday in the area. While doing our grocery shopping at Intermarché, we saw a sign at the entrance of this brasserie offering a set menu (starter, main course, and dessert). It seemed quite original and affordable, so we decided to stop for lunch. There were two adults and one child in our party: three drinks, two set menus (starter, main course, and dessert), one children's menu, plus a coffee, for a total of €66. It was delicious and the portions were generous! Don't hesitate to stop by; you won't be disappointed.

29/05/2025: A wonderful discovery, a very pleasant place, The dishes are superbly flavorful and presented. For vegetarians, I recommend the Roquefort, pear, and walnut tartine and the asparagus and poached egg velouté. ...and for flexitarians, the chicken supreme... with baby vegetables... and I'm not even talking about the desserts! Bravo and thank you!

30/12/2025: Le Clos de l'Ecureuil: a setting, a warm welcome, a delight for the senses. Each dish enchants the palate, and the nose and eyes are filled with pleasure... a moment of pure bliss. Le Clos has been a part of our family life. While we understand that retirement will come one day, we'll have to do without it now, and we'll miss stepping through the door of this gourmet haven very much. Thank you both so much for all these shared moments.
