16/04/2026: We ordered the €28.90 set menu. The first course, two spring rolls and two ravioli, was decent. However, when the scallops and shrimp with black mushrooms were served, the smell of stale fish emanated from the dish, followed by the taste. One forkful and it was over; the whole thing went in the bin. The waiter was kind enough to offer us complimentary drinks. But €28.90 for two spring rolls and two ravioli is expensive. So, a word of advice: avoid this restaurant.

26/04/2026: Always such a warm welcome! All the staff are pleasant and friendly. Orders are taken quickly and we're served with very little waiting. We tried several dishes, and they're a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, and the portions are generous! I highly recommend this establishment for families or groups of friends, even for business!

30/04/2026: My wonderful friends treated me to this special, unique , discreet restaurant situed in a small road in the city of Nîmes. It's quite original. I'm in complete admiration of the owner, an exceptional woman that greets, serves, cooks, etc all by herself!!! The food high quality fresh homemade. Gluten-free. You feel like you are at home sharing a good meal with loved ones. I will definitely return. I highly recommend to all to discover this restaurant ! Beware, she only has a few tables! Not for large groups.

29/04/2026: I'm from Nîmes and I discovered this restaurant with English friends because I absolutely needed gluten-free options. Don't be put off by the slightly dated exterior or the slightly old-fashioned style of the dining room; once you start tasting Martine's cooking, it won't matter much. Her pieds paquets and pissaladière are delicious; it's traditional and generous cuisine. The gluten-free bread is homemade. Thank you, Martine, for sharing your passion and commitment to cooking and offering gluten-free options for those who need them.

05/11/2025: It's been seven years since I last went to this restaurant with my family. I think I ate the best salad of my life. I have such amazing memories of it. My children, aged 11 and 13, each ordered a duck breast! It was a generous and delicious meal, but there wasn't a single bite left on their plates. We were with our dog, who also received plenty of attention. It's never too late to say thank you. A real treat and a wonderful welcome. Thank you!

30/04/2026: Two stars, and that's a real shame. The Constance barge costs 20 euros per person, and the microphone doesn't work... And to top it all off, two busloads of German students couldn't care less about the explanations and chatted away, drowning out the microphone inside, which is barely audible without outside noise... It's beautiful, it's worth seeing, but without a microphone and without explanations, for 19 euros per person, it's a complete rip-off... Kudos to the ranch, though...

27/04/2026: The boat's departure was delayed by 25 minutes. There was no microphone at the front of the boat, even though we were told this had been reported, but no apology was given. Two hours in a canal with little to see, without any explanation, is a long time.

The peaceful flow of the Vidourle River, the tastefully landscaped garden, and the delicious breakfast—everything was perfect for a truly restorative break. Thank you, we will certainly return.

14/12/2025: La Magnanerie d’Hôtes is simply a magical place. Exceptional rooms, a breathtaking view of the Vidourle River, and above all, remarkably kind and welcoming hosts. We first stayed there in the summer of 2024, then again in the winter of 2025: two different seasons, but the same feeling of absolute well-being. Each stay offers exceptional moments and memories that will stay with you forever. Breakfast is a true delight, served with great care by the hosts, including delicious homemade jams. Sophie and Vincent are truly lovely people, with whom it is a pleasure to chat and share experiences. Everything about this place is incredible. In the summer, the swimming pool is magnificent, and the opportunity to kayak on the Vidourle makes the experience even more unique. In short, an exceptional place that I warmly recommend to anyone who respects such a precious place. We will return with great pleasure.
