09/12/2025: The restaurant was a bit noisy. A main course and dessert cost €18 without wine. There were only 5 shrimp in the daily special. The French toast was dry and unappetizing; I'd avoid it. This was my second visit, and I was quite disappointed. I just didn't connect with the place. It was very busy, which I guess appeals to some and not to others, myself included.

The restaurant is right off the road, which is why it only has 4 stars in Ambiente. However, the restaurant does have a sea view.

02/12/2025: Truly enjoyed our dinner at Au Bon Pêcheur tonight. Local Alsactian vibe with excellent food and drink. Welcoming and warm.
Tonight I had the Pork Cheeks cooked in Pinot Noir. My wife had the Cordon Blue of Pork and both were exceptional. Treat yourself to a Baba du Rhum!!

29/06/2025: While passing through St Jean-la-Blaquière, stage 7 of the GR653, I discovered this restaurant, open despite the heat, and located on the main village square. It was a treat from the first course to the last. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good, even very good, cuisine.

29/09/2024: A little disappointed compared to a previous visit, the atmosphere and welcome are rather cold, the food good but without surprises and the portions small for the price.
I will try to find something better for a future lunch with friends.

a nice environment, perfect table service. They even served us a gazpacho to keep us waiting for our first course. What more can I say except... I want to come back!!!

You will not be disappointed by the friendly and "family" welcome, nor by the meals. The plates are very generous, the dishes are well cooked and the floating island 😜🤤🤪 HUGE!
