20/02/2026: A wonderful discovery this evening! Original and perfectly balanced flavors. The squid tentacle salad with orange and toasted rapeseed oil was a truly delightful find! The seared scallops, topped with chorizo ​​chips for a crunchy touch and a beetroot/butternut mousse, were equally delightful. The thinly sliced ​​Irish Angus flank steak, subtly seasoned with smoked mustard and paprika, was served with fragrant polenta. A refined, generous, and perfectly executed dish, accompanied by a Delmas red wine... what can I say... we loved it. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: We had dinner one weekday evening with my Spanish manager, and Jade welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. The restaurant was about to close, and she took the time to serve us an excellent seafood platter accompanied by a white-flecked octopus. She also let us taste the octopus prepared by her mother. We were treated like family. I highly recommend it and I'm already planning to go back to meet her mother. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: I've been coming to Balaruc for three years in a row, and I really enjoy enjoying a plate of oysters with a glass of white wine. This year, it was a total disappointment. Once I arrived too late (1:45 p.m. - service until 2 p.m.), another time too early (10:50 a.m. for a service that starts at 11 a.m.), and the third time, on a Friday, I was told, "I'm swamped, and it's market day, so come back another time." Conclusion: I'm not going there anymore... This woman should change jobs or stay in the kitchen and let someone more competent take care of the reception.

They also recently created an opening in the kitchen, so we can see everything that's going on—talk about transparency! Special shout-out to my little bearded guy with glasses and a ponytail. He'll know who he is, won't he, my sweetie?

26/11/2025: The owner reopened the kitchen to serve us when all the other restaurants in the area had stopped serving. He was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The seafood casserole was excellent and the gourmet coffee was perfect! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, thank you again!

06/01/2026: If you want an authentic experience in a seafood restaurant, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, overlooking the pond used for mussel and oyster farming. The prices are fair, the quality is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

09/01/2026: We've been going there regularly since 2017. This year we chose to spend New Year's Eve there. We were disappointed, not by the quality of the meal, but by the exorbitant bill compared to the menu. It was the same menu as usual for €90, with no decorations or entertainment, and no drinks included, not even coffee.

23/01/2026: A truly excellent restaurant! A culinary escape: delicious tagine and couscous. The restaurant's ambiance is very pleasant, as is the service. They even offered a complimentary mint tea. I highly recommend this restaurant; it deserves to be better known!

18/02/2026: We arrived quite late for lunch in February, and despite the late hour, approaching closing time, and the already crowded dining room, we were greeted with smiles and attentiveness as if we were the only customers of the day! We shared a starter and were surprised to see two separate portions arrive in small casseroles, presented as if we had ordered two starters! The main courses were generous and delicious, and the numerous staff were available and attentive. A great find!

The lady greeted us, but after ordering and starting to drink our appetizers, she came back to us, annoyed because we had clearly booked at a restaurant with the same name. We apologized for our clumsiness, but she ordered us to pay and leave immediately; we didn't even get to finish our drinks. A little bonus: she reported all the negative comments so she could get the 5 stars. My comment is regularly reported as a violation of the rules.

25/09/2025: We had an excellent lunch on the terrace, featuring fresh, regional produce, thoughtfully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff, as well as the owner, are attentive and friendly.
