08/05/2026: A very pleasant one-night stay in this beautiful guesthouse; the room and common areas are tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast, with a special mention for the homemade brioches. A very friendly and warm welcome.

21/12/2025: During my stay in December for a short Christmas weekend, I stumbled upon this place and was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the host's friendliness, and the decor of the house. The internet worked very well, the heating was perfect, the breakfast was excellent, and there's street parking nearby.

21/07/2026: A bad experience if you're looking to spend your money on good food at a reasonable price. We came for lunch today. The menu at the entrance looked appealing—not too extensive and scattered, with fresh fish and the "homemade" label. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long for what we received: - A single, tiny cuttlefish with two spoonfuls of mashed potato (despite being advertised as mashed potatoes) and a few slices of carrot and peas that seemed frozen. - A swordfish tartare that was quite good, but over-seasoned, very poorly presented (as if a handful of diced swordfish had been placed directly on the plate), and very badly cut. The side dish, which should have been a salad—perfect for the heat—was instead replaced with fries that also seemed frozen. All this for an exorbitant price with presentation and service that left much to be desired. When it came time to pay the bill, we waited 20 minutes and asked twice. Despite this, the waiter continued chatting, ignoring the other customers and the waitress who was doing everything by herself. He also didn't know how to use the card reader. On the plus side, the food was delicious and the waitress was very pleasant!

19/07/2026: We had a wonderful time today with our family. The food was excellent, featuring fresh fish and authentic local recipes. The service was prompt and very pleasant, and the chef is clearly passionate about his craft – it shows in the food! Thank you for a lovely meal!

24/06/2026: A lovely spot, bring a hat & sunglasses if you are outside around 7:30pm, it’s a proper sun trap. The service was a little slow, maybe an hour for food to arrive, but we enjoyed fabulous wine while we waited. After our meal we tried an incredible vintage by the glass. Highly recommend this place for wine lovers ♥️♥️♥️

27/04/2026: It used to be the best Japanese restaurant in the area... 3 orders in the last 2-3 months and each time the rice is overcooked and sticky, horrible. I got severe food poisoning this time.

But one we'd love to see modernize. €45 for lunch (starter, main, dessert) – there are much better options in the area in terms of value for money, but never mind. What shocks me most is the menu. Let's be clear: if you're vegetarian, run away as fast as you can. Here, the only alternatives are salads (vegetarians only eat salad and seeds, everyone knows that!). This clearly shows a lack of consideration, not to mention disdain, for people who show an interest in animal welfare or the environmental impact of food. In fact, a while back, I ordered a vegetarian dish (which has since disappeared from the menu) and the waiter asked me if I wanted it rare. Lol. In short, the perfect old-fashioned restaurant to eat while continuing to burn the planet 🌎

16/07/2026: This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The dishes are excellent and very generous. I've been going there regularly for several years and I always order the most expensive set menu... at €34! Local charcuterie as a starter, tripe à la salvetoise as a first course (a real treat for tripe lovers, but you can also have a mushroom omelet), spit-roasted leg of lamb as a second course (yes, a second course!), cheese, and dessert. All that for €34, honestly, don't hesitate!

15/06/2026: Hello Very disappointed with the food. Very expensive for what's on the plate! A €21 starter for two raw langoustines and six slices of small zucchini! €29 for a portion of hake, four small potatoes, a few spinach leaves, and a teaspoon of sauce! There were two of us, and frankly, it's a good thing there was bread! A restaurant for hipsters! Furthermore, the service was very slow!

27/05/2026: A magnificent place. It's calm and relaxing. A very warm welcome. A large heated pool, although the access could be improved slightly. There's just a ladder.

19/05/2026: An exceptional setting, calm and beautiful, a perfect place to relax. The inn/hotel is very well located, allowing easy access to the village and hiking trails without needing a car. The masseuse is fantastic, and the owner is a very friendly man who loves his work. A PERFECT place 👍

05/07/2026: We had a family room here which was essentially an apartment! It was super nice even though we only stayed one night before a flight out of Montpellier. Staff was friendly and location is great, just a short walk from Place de Comedie, shops, restaurants, etc., and directly across from the train station. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Great value for the price!

Great location, price and ALL staff was amazing and friendly close walk to all the local attractions in Montpelier and train station, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again next year 🇫🇷👍❤️

02/07/2026: A pleasant bakery, open very early, with a fairly wide selection of products, quite reasonable prices, and friendly service with a smile. A slight disappointment with the pastries – were they frozen?! ​​But overall, satisfied.
