11/06/2026: On holiday in the area, I found a really nice little restaurant where the meat and fish are grilled over an open fire – refined cuisine. Good value for money, I recommend it. A special mention for the very professional waiter.

03/08/2026: The salmon galette was excellent, and the crêpe #11 with pears, chocolate, whipped cream, and almonds was perfect. All accompanied by rosé cider. Highly recommended.

08/08/2026: We had dinner at Café Bretón and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We shared the melon tartare with Iberian ham and stracciatella, the salmon fillet, the boneless chicken, and for dessert, the cheese board. The dishes were different from the usual fare in the area, the ingredients were excellent, and the staff was lovely. I would definitely return; 100% recommended.

Dishes of unusual taste and composition. The combination of products is very soft and elegant. I recommend!

26/09/2026: We visited La Flambée on a weekend without a reservation, and it seems that getting a table without booking is nearly impossible. We had tried to get into three of the best-rated restaurants in town, but La Flambée was the only one that could accommodate us, so we were supposed to be grateful to get a table — unfortunately, we aren’t! The entrecôte was extremely tough and almost not chewable! The French fries and salad were just okay. The Camembert sauce, however, was delicious, and the profiteroles were also very good. The restaurant was completely full, which may explain why it is so popular — tastes differ, of course. However, the biggest problem came, when noticed a guest on the table, looked like a cockroach exploring our table. That completely spoiled the experience and raised serious concerns about the cleanliness of the place. Overall, despite the restaurant’s popularity, we personally would not recommend it. For us, the lack of cleanliness was a deal-breaker.

26/09/2026: A lovely crêperie experience offering new culinary creations: a beautifully decorated Basque galette served with a very nice little bag of crêpes and salad. I recommend it; grilled meats are also available.

03/10/2026: I loved this restaurant when I first discovered it three years ago. Now the staff has changed. The day before your reservation, you receive an incredibly long list of instructions that you're expected to follow if you want to be served. You're told to finish your meal in 45 minutes. At 8:45 pm, you're asked to leave to make room for the 9 pm seating. There is no 9 pm seating. So, they're lying to you to get you out of there as quickly as possible. Who are they kidding? It's a huge disappointment, and I won't be going back to this place. The food is still very good.

10/09/2026: Typical decor - Excellent food at a reasonable price (considering the quality) - Cool service Tested in mid-August. Entering the restaurant is already a pleasure with its dim lighting and very typical Thai decor. This ambiance sets the tone for the meal. We only regretted not finding paper menus and had to consult them on our smartphones. My friend is vegetarian and had fewer choices than me, but enjoyed her meal just as much. The dishes have exceptional flavors; it's truly a gem of a restaurant. A set menu is offered for €39 (starter, main course, dessert), and everything is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

06/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at Fezi restaurant on Rue des Carmes in Rennes! 😊 The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. We had a fantastic time, and dinner was delicious. The dishes are beautifully presented, with meticulous attention to detail, and as beautiful as they are tasty! The flavors are spot on, with perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful dishes. 😋 A feast for both the eyes and the palate! A perfect place to treat yourself and have a lovely time. I highly recommend it! 👌✨
