16/07/2024: Be careful when you go shopping, always check the prices on your receipt which I strongly recommend that you take with the prices on the shelves because in my experience 8 times out of 10 there are very often errors on certain items and of course always in their direction the prices are often more expensive at the checkout than on the shelf. But the worst is that it doesn't respect the law and the customers flat out tell you that it's up to you to check the barcodes as if it were our job to go shopping and check the barcode of each item that we buy while the legislation says that you must pay the same price as is displayed on the shelf too bad for the store if they made a mistake but with them this is not the case they almost put the fault on you tell you that it's not the right item and that you didn't want well you just have to not take it we understand better why the stores no longer want to give you tickets... as it's not the first time I am going to report them and denounce them where appropriate consumer protection, fraud repression etc.... because error is human but they must recognize it and take responsibility for it and not send their customers away like that and circumvent the law...

13/06/2024: Pour fêter l'anniversaire de ma sœur on a choisi ce restaurant très sympa.. Repas en terrasse au bord de la piscine, très bon rapport qualité prix.. Personnel très efficace et souriant.. Merci aux responsables pour nous avoir offert une coupe de champagne 🥂 pour marquer cet Anniversaire.. C'était parfait...on reviendra.. Cordialement

06/07/2024: This is an odd review but their behaviour has to be called out. We were in France with our dog and the French love dogs and nost places welcome dogs. We were staying in Montigny les Metz. I googled dog friendly restuarants in the area and this place cane up. When we arrived we were pleased as there is a small outside eating area. My wife gestured thriugh the window pointing at our dog saying if it was ok, the guy gestured it was so we sat down and waited. The waiter came out with the menus. He heard us talk and became instantly hostile. He then said 'excuse me', ' dont like' and gestured for us to leave. I asked him if he did not like the English or our dog, he did not answer and wakked away. Now my dog is a retriever breed, he is no threat to anyone and is calm and well behaved. I dont think it has anything to do with my dog. My take on the situation is that the waiter for whatever reason does not like English people and he decided to be racist towards us. This is insane behaviour and is vey damaging to thr business. The French are very welcoming of visitors from other parts of the world and we had a great time in France only spoiled by this waiters racism.

18/08/2024: Hier handelt es sich derzeit wohl um das Restaurant mit den höchsten kulinarischen Ambitionen in Metz. Teilweise wird man diesem Anspruch auch durchaus gerecht, einzelne Details hinkten dem jedoch bei unserem Besuch noch etwas hinterher. Die Weinkarte ist hervorragend und bietet viele sehr interessante Positionen zu recht fairen Preisen. Beim Essen hätten wir uns an der einen oder anderen Stelle etwas mehr Finesse und Kreativität gewünscht. Zum Auftakt wurden uns zwei Amuse serviert, die wir geschmacklich nicht sehr eindrucksvoll, aber auch nicht schlecht fand. Darauf folgte die erste Vorspeise mit grünen Bohnen und Lardo – sehr schön abgeschmeckt, wenn auch nicht spektakulär. Der Taschenkrebs-Tartar im zweiten Gang hätte vielleicht von einer etwas mutigeren Würzung profitiert. Der Lachs zum Hauptgang war dann wieder sehr gut zubereitet und schmackhaft. Wirklich herausragend war aber das Kalbsbries wie auch die beiden Desserts. Gleiches gilt übrigens auch für das Brot! Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und flott, wirkte aber bisweilen auch etwas gestresst. Aber so etwas kann natürlich auch einfach mal an der Tagesform liegen. Insgesamt hatten wir – trotz der kleineren Schwächen – noch immer einen sehr erfreulichen Abend, der jeden Cent wert war. Insgesamt also eher 4,5 als 4 Sterne. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder.

26/07/2024: Je ne m'attendais pas à être aussi agréablement surpris en rentrant dans ce restaurant. Les tables sont suffisamment écartées pour préserver l'intimité et le service est très professionnel. Côté boisson la carte est assez riche et propose quelques vins au rapport qualité prix très intéressant. Côté carte, nous avons pris le grand menu, et même si les suppléments ont tendance à alourdir la note, le bilan est très positif. Une note toute particulière pour le homard servi de façon originale et pour les ris de veau dont la cuisson était absolument parfaite : je n'avais jusqu'à présent trouvé cette excellence que dans un restaurant triplement étoilé ! Un excellent repas au final. J'y retournerai !

13/08/2024: I gave it 3 stars because the staff was friendly otherwise! The food there is intended for pigeons I had a chicken curry sandwich. There was only bread and sauce and 3 pieces of chicken that beat!

06/08/2024: Service, not from the staff, but from the product. My only example is a hot chocolate with less content and less creaminess than Yutz's.

02/12/2024: C’est la deuxième fois que je déjeune dans ce restaurant et mon avis suite à ma 1ère visite s’est confirmé : c’est un restaurant en déclin. Les plats sont corrects mais sans plus. Le pire, c’est le froid dans la salle !!! On nous explique qu’on ne peut pas chauffer plus que 19 degrés mais on en est loin. On nous apporte un petit radiateur d’appoint. Mais en fin de repas : 17 degrés dans la salle. Des conditions d’accueil qui ne permettent pas de passer un bon moment

On nous a proposé 1 entrée 1 plat hors cote de bœuf 1 desser 1 bouteille de vin NI APPERTIF ET CAFE Table décevante ni nappe et serviettes papier couvert du bistro du coin Erreur sur la commande de l apéritif avec une attente longue échange aussi long car ils avaient oublié !!!! Erreur sur le choix du vin 🍷 alors que nous avons du le demander le plat étant servi Erreur sur l addition des apéritifs BEAUCOUP TROP !! POUR UNE ADDITION DE 170 EUROS ET 20 EUROS D APPERITIF ATTENTE LONGUE POUR ÊTRE SERVIS ALORS QU IL Y AVAIT PEU DE MONDE
