07/05/2024: Très mauvaise expérience dans cet établissement. Toujours à l’écoute, d’habitude tolérant et encourageant, c’est d’un ennui certain que je me dois d’écrire cet avis plus que nécessaire. Première fois au sirop d’érable et sans aucun doute la dernière. Lors de notre visite, une bouteille de soda nous éclate au visage quand la serveuse nous l’apporte. Téléphone, montre, pantalon, veste, t-shirt, cheveux, la quasi intégralité de la bouteille y passe. Certes, ce sont des choses qui arrivent et tout à fait tolérables… quand la situation est gérée en bonne intelligence. On ne nous propose pas de changer de table et le faisons par nous même, pas de serviettes pour nous essuyer, pas d’excuses, aucun geste commercial lors du règlement de l’addition… En bref, aucune initiative n’a été prise. Cerise sur le gâteau : ma commande reçue n’était pas la bonne… Une expérience franchement décevante et inadmissible que je me dois de dénoncer. Quel dommage pour ce lieu pourtant charmant, avec une carte intéressante, d’avoir ce genre d’incivilité venant du personnel…

14/09/2024: Super recommended place for brioche/croissants but not for eclaire. Not fresh and not good creams. Furthermore, the place was full of bees flying over the food on the counters and their specialty, "escargot" was not available.

16/07/2024: Be careful when you go shopping, always check the prices on your receipt which I strongly recommend that you take with the prices on the shelves because in my experience 8 times out of 10 there are very often errors on certain items and of course always in their direction the prices are often more expensive at the checkout than on the shelf. But the worst is that it doesn't respect the law and the customers flat out tell you that it's up to you to check the barcodes as if it were our job to go shopping and check the barcode of each item that we buy while the legislation says that you must pay the same price as is displayed on the shelf too bad for the store if they made a mistake but with them this is not the case they almost put the fault on you tell you that it's not the right item and that you didn't want well you just have to not take it we understand better why the stores no longer want to give you tickets... as it's not the first time I am going to report them and denounce them where appropriate consumer protection, fraud repression etc.... because error is human but they must recognize it and take responsibility for it and not send their customers away like that and circumvent the law...

13/06/2024: Pour fêter l'anniversaire de ma sœur on a choisi ce restaurant très sympa.. Repas en terrasse au bord de la piscine, très bon rapport qualité prix.. Personnel très efficace et souriant.. Merci aux responsables pour nous avoir offert une coupe de champagne 🥂 pour marquer cet Anniversaire.. C'était parfait...on reviendra.. Cordialement

06/07/2024: This is an odd review but their behaviour has to be called out. We were in France with our dog and the French love dogs and nost places welcome dogs. We were staying in Montigny les Metz. I googled dog friendly restuarants in the area and this place cane up. When we arrived we were pleased as there is a small outside eating area. My wife gestured thriugh the window pointing at our dog saying if it was ok, the guy gestured it was so we sat down and waited. The waiter came out with the menus. He heard us talk and became instantly hostile. He then said 'excuse me', ' dont like' and gestured for us to leave. I asked him if he did not like the English or our dog, he did not answer and wakked away. Now my dog is a retriever breed, he is no threat to anyone and is calm and well behaved. I dont think it has anything to do with my dog. My take on the situation is that the waiter for whatever reason does not like English people and he decided to be racist towards us. This is insane behaviour and is vey damaging to thr business. The French are very welcoming of visitors from other parts of the world and we had a great time in France only spoiled by this waiters racism.

26/10/2024: Saturday 26/10 9:45 a.m. The stand opens at 9 a.m. I ask for orange juice as usual, I am told that there is none yet... breakfast formula without orange juice? What time should I have breakfast? very unpleasant young man with headphones in his ears, never seen before.

23/10/2024: The Biscoff muffin (formerly Speculos) is an absolute must-have!
