04/08/2024: La Renardière est un petit restaurant niché dans le village de Gauchin. Il fait aussi bar et débit de tabac.
La patronne est extrêmement gentille et reçoit ses clients dans une salle spacieuse et agréable avec vue sur un très beau jardin (une terrasse est d'ailleurs disponible si le temps le permet). On soigne bien les clients et on pense confort : nappes et serviettes en tissus rappelant le satin, chemins de table.
Nous avons mangé en entrée : deux ficelles picardes au Maroilles et terrine, en plat burger Maroilles, carbonnade et poutine gallinéçoise et pour finir, un trio de panna cotta. Le tout pour un peu plus de 80€ à trois avec deux boissons.
Des plats maison et frais, un accueil chaleureux et un cadre très agréable. Tout était parfait !

The welcome is very warm, the staff attentive and very helpful.
The dishes are delicious, 100% home cooking with local products

09/09/2024: The restaurant won the competition for the best andouillette recipe (from Maison Becquart) and come and taste it with ease. A treat!
08/09/2024: Accueil sympathique et rapide. Cadre original car nous étions dans la cave voûtée du restaurant (où on sent un peu l'odeur d'humidité). Choix à la carte variés avec plusieurs plats typiques de la région. Par contre une des entrecôtes était tendre mais pleine de nerfs, d'après la patronne nous aurions dû le signaler pour qu'elle la change, mais ma mère n'aime pas faire d'histoire, donc elle n'a rien dit ...certes ça peut arriver mais dans ces cas là elle aurait pu faire un petit geste commercial ! Et pour la cuisson de mon magret, cette dernière m'a fait la leçon sur les types de cuisson mais il n'était pas du tout cuit comme je l'avais demandé !

The only drawback my children aged 9 & 10 have to pay for an adult menu even though they eat almost nothing but they are 1m40 tall
If your child is 1m40 or more, regardless of age, they pay for an adult menu
So if like mine they are big very young... And he pecks he pays me an adult very shame
We will not return because it is too expensive with two children and 2 adults = 4 adult menu
It should be in an age group of 10/13 years at 15€ to have a happy medium because many children of this age eat it less than an adult
Otherwise too bad good service and good meal

01/10/2024: Following my visit this evening to this bar restaurant with good friends
Basically we just came for a drink because we had a good appreciation from a lot of people around us but in the end we took the dish with it.
But in terms of food and welcome, nothing to say, I 100% recommend this bar restaurant, we will come back with pleasure and very soon 😁
19/09/2024: Don't try to ask for 1 small salad as a starter: "we don't do that here". Fortunately in the table next to the regulars yelled at the waiter and I was able to have my salada. In the evening again. But I managed to start my meal by 1 delicious, again. Modern cuisine, very good. Pleasant setting. Generous portions. We were served very quickly.

Very friendly welcome, beautiful room, menu with a good choice, fast service. The food is very good and plentiful. Prices are correct. Large parking lot opposite. Restaurant to recommend.
