02/08/2024: What a disappointment… meal last night. Happy to be together as a family around - we hoped - an exceptional meal. This is the memory we had about 4 years ago. Well, we left with the intention of never coming back. Gloomy reception. Very very poor service - amateur and poor quality. Flavorless meal. Tomato starter? Nothing exceptional in terms of taste and preparation. For example, the duck breast was not pink as advertised and difficult to cut and tasteless. Dessert puffs? Too sweet, mushy. Without interest. No carafe of water on the table why? Bread sparingly. Icy atmosphere - discreet but well-chosen music to mark summer, right? Best wishes.

19/07/2024: Very disappointed by the telephone response from the receptionist “Candice” when we called to let them know we were 10 minutes late! She also did not inform the restaurant of our call. In addition, we were taken directly to the terrace even though we wanted to have lunch inside…. Brief ! Unprofessional attitude! Regarding the meal, disappointed by the very rubbery “monkfish” fish and too salty accompaniment. The famous “CD” cabbages really nothing exceptional! Brief ! Very poor quality/price ratio: €30 for a main course and a dessert! We preferred when it was before Alice’s garden! It’s changed a lot!

31/08/2024: The hotel was most probably a remarkable venue a couple of years ago. However, the owners have failed to invest to maintain their reputation. It is old and needs to be refreshed - both the common areas and the room. In particular, with respect to the room, the carpet appears very old and not that clean, the walls need to be cleaned and painted, the linens needs to be replaced (stains, sign of wear, uncomfortable), the mattress is very hard and of cheap quality. Let alone the fact that the room looks old, it is also not cleaned properly... For the price we paid, this is very far from what we expected and really does not compare well with other accommodation where we stayed at in the area. This affected our vacation and I am sorry we stayed at this hotel.

01/09/2024: A quality address in Arras Very appreciated the little appetizers The dish was really quality on the terrace in the beautiful setting of the squares of Arras If I remove a star it is because the price is a little high and the tartar is homemade, I would have preferred a knife cut (it was specified on the American filet style menu) but for a meat restaurant, it missing the chew. There were no capers or pickles. I think the tartar was too big, I had trouble finishing it. Perhaps we should offer a smaller and cheaper version. Nevertheless, I very happily recommend this address

12/09/2024: We arrived full of optimism. The frites were ok - the steak, the duck, the weird prawn and cheese concoction were all inedible. BTW. sprinkling sesame seeds over congealed gravy does not elevate a dish. It just makes it look weird.

17/01/2025: Nice welcome, spacious and pleasant restaurant. Smiling but impersonal service. Sufficient quantity of dishes. A downside for the mini welsh, sandwich bread, cheddar only and not hot enough for the cheese to flow. Average value for money. On the other hand, the excessive entrance fee? Too bad I didn't have the little spark to have the pleasure of coming back.

05/01/2025: we ate very well nice staff small downside the glasses are not clean! fingerprints and dried water from the dishwasher yet pretty glasses it's a shame it's a detail but it's important the music is too high! We will come back and I recommend despite these two remarks

31/08/2024: We went there yesterday with a two year old child. Very pleasant service and welcome. The staff is helpful and very classy. They aim for the well-being of the customers, even that of our two-year-old. I recommend, the food is excellent. The wait is not too long.

03/08/2024: All entries are around €20, which is still expensive. Everything is good, but disappointed by the dessert which was canned pear, and charlotte biscuit not dry. Why not make a charlotte with seasonal fruit?
