22/02/2026: We've been customers for over 15 years now!!!! This was our first time here since the change of ownership, and we were completely disappointed. No exaggeration, we were served an hour late!!!! After 30 minutes, I went back to ask why we hadn't been served yet, and they told me it was in order of the order of the tickets!!! 🤦‍♀️ 50 minutes later, I went back and asked for a refund since we still hadn't been served. They told me, "It's ready, madam, it's your turn!" The owner and his wife didn't even bother to apologize or offer anything at all!!!! The wife was incredibly rude and answered us rudely!! And the owner didn't even have the nerve to look at us!!!! It's a shame for the young woman who takes orders at the front of the house, who's also been there for years, and who gets all the flak when customers complain!!! By the way, the fries were a disaster!!!! We're definitely not going to be back very soon!!!!

19/02/2026: I discovered this lovely little chip shop thanks to a contest on their Facebook page. We were thrilled with our meals. The fries are homemade, and you can tell! The "petit boss" fries are delicious! There's a touch of curry on the bread, which adds a really nice extra flavor. The staff are so friendly! We'll definitely be back!

18/03/2026: First time here. The decor is very nice. The menu has way too many choices. Food-wise: large plates, good fries, the butcher's steak was good, but the potato pancakes were very greasy. And what really disgusted me was the twenty or so aphids in the three lettuce leaves...it completely ruined my appetite.

28/02/2026: Few restaurants were open that February day, with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius and no reservations. After a bit of a wait, we ate at this restaurant and it was a wonderful discovery. The dishes were generous and delicious: andouillette sausage with fries, chicken, mussels in a casserole, and a fantastic dessert... The prices are very reasonable, the food is cooked on-site using local products. Note that the restaurant isn't very large.

11/12/2025: Perfect! A real old-fashioned brasserie, just the way we like them! You get your money's worth! A restaurant for hearty eaters. After checking, the price of the bottle of wine is the same as the price listed online. The owner respects his customers. However, this isn't a pharmacy!

27/09/2025: A chocolate crepe. Something simple that's bound to be delicious. Well, no, here at the takeaway stand they've managed the feat of making a simple chocolate crepe disgusting. I award you the trophy for the worst crepe I've ever eaten. For me, chocolate is melted in a double boiler and then spread over the crepe. Here, the lady pulls out a bottle of some industrial stuff called chocolate. Chocolate cut with water, incredibly runny. It doesn't stick to the crepe. You get it everywhere. Inedible. I hope you're not proud of what you serve your customers. It's pathetic. Obviously, I don't recommend this place.

18/09/2025: Coffee €2 and undrinkable I never put sugar in it, but even with two pieces, it was undrinkable.

23/02/2026: We returned to this restaurant once again. Since it opened, every visit has been excellent; we've never been disappointed! The service is superb!

22/02/2026: A very bad experience. The food was cold, the meat didn't seem fresh, and the chicken had a strange texture, as if it had been reheated in mushy water. The beef was so tough we didn't even eat it. We left the restaurant without ordering dessert and with our plates full, which pretty much sums up our disappointment. When you pay €50 for two people, you expect a minimum level of service. Not to mention the furniture, which was in a terrible state.

11/02/2026: Good evening, we booked a table for 4 people on February 10th, 2026 for 7pm, reservation confirmed by email, we arrived to find the door closed 😱 very very disappointed 😪

31/01/2026: We were surprised, we always walked past it, and we were foolish because today we went in, drawn by the chalkboard on the sidewalk: a filet mignon express deal with a drink and a coffee. It was nicely presented, the fries were perfectly cooked, the salad was well-seasoned with lettuce, small cubes of tomato, and four pieces of filet mignon with a delicious sweet and savory sauce. Don't hesitate to go into this restaurant.

22/01/2026: We came across Le Normandy on a bank holiday when many places nearby were closed. At first, I didn’t realise it was part of a hotel, as it looked more like a traditional restaurant or pub from the outside. There were four of us dining, and when we arrived the waiter mentioned a minimum spend for dining, which wasn’t an issue as we were planning to eat properly anyway. The menu was quite focused, with a small number of options, so we didn’t spend too long deciding. What stood out to me was a cold seafood platter, even though it was a chilly day. I went with that and it arrived as a large plate with a mix of seafood, including crab, prawns, mussels, and oysters. It was generous in size and easy to take time over. The others at the table chose warmer dishes, including a chicken dish with mashed potatoes. Inside, the space felt cosy and rustic, with lots of wood and a slightly old fashioned feel that suited the setting well. The waiter was friendly and took time to explain things, which we appreciated, especially as we were speaking English in France. I skipped dessert and finished with a coffee instead, and by the end it felt like an easy place to settle into for a relaxed meal.
