15/06/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. The waitress was unpleasant, not smiling, and not welcoming. I don't think this job is right for her; she spoke very curtly. I think she doesn't want to do this job. Besides that, the food was nothing special. Avoid it at all costs! I absolutely do not recommend it. Run away!

14/06/2026: Very disappointing. We came to this establishment hoping to have a good time, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the aperitif, we were served a warm Suze with no accompaniments. It's just a small detail, but it already gave a rather unprofessional first impression. We ordered a plain chicken supreme, with a choice between fries or new potatoes. Before choosing, I asked if the fries were homemade. The waitress confirmed that they were, so I ordered the fries. When the plate arrived: extremely dry chicken and fries that were clearly industrially vacuum-packed fresh fries. We had been assured that they were homemade. Working in a school cafeteria myself, I recognized them immediately. I took this criticism very badly. I am therefore leaving a review hoping that the owner of the establishment will take it into account.

04/05/2026: Disappointed! We ordered two cream-based cheese pizzas. It was clearly stated on the receipt, but we received two tomato-based pizzas. And what's more, I find that the pizzas are getting smaller and smaller. What a shame...

03/06/2026: Very disappointed after ordering an Ocean Salad which contained stale lettuce, frozen salmon and shrimp.

10/05/2026: I loved this kebab! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the meat is amazingly flavorful, and the service is really warm. I 100% recommend it for a delicious and satisfying meal.

16/04/2026: The white sauce was inedible; I threw away the entire kebab. I called the establishment to ask if there was a problem with the expiration date! The man told me it was a homemade sauce. Oh dear, oh dear, well, that's really not good at all. I won't be going back.

31/05/2026: The service was far too slow, which is a shame. I didn't find the same quality as a few years ago; it's nothing like it was.

16/05/2026: We weren't offered the daily menu, we were asked what we wanted for an aperitif without being shown the menu, the requested carafe of water wasn't brought back, and the wine was served in water glasses, which weren't very clean. Several waitresses at our table kept repeating "no problem." The owner had come to eat with his daughter in the dining room: he had no manners, saying hello to some without having a conversation and not saying hello to others, not even introducing himself. Amateurish service, like a training restaurant. The decor has never changed; it's stuck in the past. It lacks modernization. It lacks warmth. There's not enough space between the tables. (In fact, only the tables have changed in the last four years.) The petit fours arrived a good five minutes after the coffee... I expected better. Judging by the other comments, it's clear they've been turning a blind eye at the distillery for a long time. What a shame. It's disheartening! They only want the money and don't put in any effort; even the garden and courtyard aren't very clean (it's not like they're going to be that bad), and there's junk lying around in the tall grass. I don't recommend it.

06/05/2026: Order placed today. I don't recommend it! The kebab was overcooked, I'd even say burnt. The kebab cooking needs improvement.

03/05/2026: Over 50 calls and still no response regarding an incomplete order. What's the point of a phone line if you just leave it on voicemail?

19/04/2026: April 19th, 4 PM, tobacco shop closed. It's a real shame to have two tobacco shops and both be closed at the same time. Check their opening hours on Google because it says they're open.

21/03/2026: Hello, a few details to consider: It's no longer a 24-hour gas station and closes early on Saturdays before 8 PM. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

03/04/2026: The shop is in a prime location. I bought croissants there yesterday and was really disappointed when I ate one. I was expecting a fresh croissant, enticingly fragrant, crisp, and delicious. That's exactly what I didn't get at this bakery. There are several reviews like this. Unfortunately, I read them too late. I won't be coming back either.

20/03/2026: Lovely bakery. Friendly welcome. The "traditional" baguette was a bit disappointing.

09/03/2026: The first time: a loaf of bread with huge holes (not air pockets!!!). I thought it might have been a baking mistake or something. It happens. The second time: same loaf, disappointing, no crumb: just holes!!! So I continued to go there for pizzas and pastries. Two days ago, I realized it had been a few months since I'd tried again, so I ordered a country loaf. I'll let you judge for yourselves with the attached photo. I think it's an exaggeration! (Other bakers confirmed this opinion after seeing the photo). I regret it, but I'm giving up and I don't recommend this bakery.

28/05/2026: Terrible service!!! I had to go back three times to get napkins and a carafe of water. At the end of May, the mussels are tiny; avoid ordering them. The only redeeming feature of this restaurant is its location. Beyond that...

27/05/2026: We were lucky enough to get a table on Monday at lunchtime, and despite the hustle and bustle and the heat, the servers were very welcoming and attentive. A big thank you to the whole team!

22/01/2026: We came across Le Normandy on a bank holiday when many places nearby were closed. At first, I didn’t realise it was part of a hotel, as it looked more like a traditional restaurant or pub from the outside. There were four of us dining, and when we arrived the waiter mentioned a minimum spend for dining, which wasn’t an issue as we were planning to eat properly anyway. The menu was quite focused, with a small number of options, so we didn’t spend too long deciding. What stood out to me was a cold seafood platter, even though it was a chilly day. I went with that and it arrived as a large plate with a mix of seafood, including crab, prawns, mussels, and oysters. It was generous in size and easy to take time over. The others at the table chose warmer dishes, including a chicken dish with mashed potatoes. Inside, the space felt cosy and rustic, with lots of wood and a slightly old fashioned feel that suited the setting well. The waiter was friendly and took time to explain things, which we appreciated, especially as we were speaking English in France. I skipped dessert and finished with a coffee instead, and by the end it felt like an easy place to settle into for a relaxed meal.

01/01/2026: I've never eaten such a great burger! The homemade bun was amazing. I'll be ordering often. Thanks to Classico, the prices are very reasonable.
