04/10/2026: A terrible experience at McDonald's! My hamburger was completely squashed, the presentation was appalling, and everything was filthy. Frankly, it's unacceptable to serve orders in that state. No care, no quality, very disappointed! I absolutely do not recommend it.

04/10/2026: I ordered a Happy Meal at the drive-thru and asked which toys were available. They were out of toys: great start. I then ordered a BlueLock meal (with the book, of course). When I got home, I discovered that the BlueLock meal had been changed to a Maxi Best Of meal, without the book! I called the restaurant to explain the situation. They told me that mistakes happen, but there was nothing they could do... To please my child, I got back in my car and drove there with €1.25 to pay the difference (the price of the book). When I arrived, the manager explained that she couldn't do anything for me, that she "didn't have the key" for that. I explained "calmly" that the mistake was the employee's, that it happens, but I didn't get what I wanted and wanted to know how to resolve the situation. The mistake was theirs, and my son was the one being "punished." She told me I had to order another meal... What a joke! A kind customer who witnessed the scene strongly advised me to send an email. I'm starting with this little review to warm up before sending the email.

12/08/2026: The highlight of my vacation... the three of us came to eat and drink a delicious diabolo. We stumbled upon it during a day trip to Ambleteuse and decided to stop for a meal! A truly authentic place! The owner is a very kind lady, a little reserved but not at all unpleasant as I've read. A little respect for those who have the courage to run their establishment for so many years. The prices are more than reasonable (€1.80 for a diabolo), we thoroughly enjoyed it, and the fries are delicious! (€7 for the set menu). This place is unpretentious, just genuine. THANK YOU. We will gladly return.

25/05/2026: Clean rooms. A lot of on site activities: billiard, swimming pool, tennis. Welcoming service. And just a brilliant location!! It’s much better to stay in a calm small town with a forest facing the ocean, than going to crowded touristic cities like Le Touquet. I have no idea why the hotel is attributed only 3 stars, it definitely has to do with a formal grading system rather the real experience of living in this hotel Highly recommend!

05/05/2026: My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times. Our children even gave us a gift voucher last year. Since then, I have had a serious illness, and my wife has passed away from a rapidly progressing cancer. It is impossible to use the gift voucher before the expiry date: May 3, 2026. During several phone calls, management was informed. I also sent them several emails with supporting documentation requesting a simple postponement of the dates. I received no response, even though it was simply a matter of postponing the stay without any financial loss for the hotel. What contempt! Today, due to the hotel management's lack of humanity and business sense, the gift voucher is no longer valid, so I am giving only one star (I cannot give less).

14/10/2026: Avoid the carbonnade at all costs; for €18.50, it's really not great to serve such poor-quality meat. Otherwise, my partner enjoyed his Welsh rarebit. The desserts were acceptable. The waiters lacked warmth but were polite. We had fond memories of this restaurant a few years ago, but we won't be returning.

11/10/2026: An experience ruined by an unacceptable table location and a particularly inappropriate response! First of all, I want to clarify that the meal was very good and the service was excellent. I have absolutely no complaints about the food or the servers, quite the opposite. And I want to emphasize this because the purpose of this review is certainly not to penalize those who are doing their jobs properly. However, regarding our table location, it was simply shameful! We were seated at a table right next to the men's restroom. Every time the door opened, we had a diagonal view of the urinals, with men visible in profile as they urinated. And as if that weren't enough, foul odors wafted up to our table every time someone passed by. We truly felt like we were eating in a toilet! Despite this particularly unpleasant situation, we bore it throughout the meal out of respect for the staff and other customers. It was only after paying the bill that I decided to point out the problem to the person who was taking our payment, especially since she hadn't even asked us if we had enjoyed our meal. And then, what a surprise to hear this response: "Next time, it's a good idea to make a reservation." Excuse me, but since when do you have to reserve a table to have the right to eat in decent conditions, without having a view of men urinating and without having to endure the smell of the toilets? I simply replied: "Your table shouldn't even exist!" And I stand by that statement completely. This isn't about reservations, but about common sense, respect, and consideration for customers. What's regrettable is that a simple apology and acknowledgment of the problem would have sufficed. Instead, we received a remark that seemed to blame us for the situation. I repeat: the meal was good and the service pleasant. The front-of-house and kitchen staff don't deserve to be penalized for this. But offering a table in such conditions, and then responding in this way to a customer who makes a perfectly legitimate comment, is deeply disappointing. People come to restaurants to enjoy a pleasant meal, not to eat with a view of urinals. I sincerely hope that management will become aware of this situation and reconsider the placement of this table, because no customer should have to endure such an experience.

13/06/2026: What can I say about this experience?! Waiting over an hour and a half for a measly starter, a slice of terrine (€5) and a tomato salad 😂, a single sliced ​​tomato (€4). Then we waited almost another hour for the main course, Flemish carbonnade! No gesture of goodwill whatsoever, and the service was terrible. In short, a very bad experience for me.
