14/03/2026: My first time at this hotel. I'll start with the negatives. *The rooms are starting to show their age; a good refresh would be welcome. *Parking is not free; you'll have to pay €3 to park. *The television has very limited channels, as they are often scrambled or don't work very well. I didn't notice any housekeeping or poor cleaning, just aging equipment. Overall, it's quite quiet, except in the morning when the cleaning staff shout at each other. I think they forget that some people are sleeping during the day. The reception staff are pleasant, especially the person who works the night shift at reception and serves breakfast in the morning—a very nice and friendly person! Otherwise, it's good value for money, but the €3 parking fee is definitely a drawback.

18/04/2026: Empty sandwich, unfriendly saleswoman, practically no sauce, didn't dare ask for more. I strongly advise against it.

02/04/2026: I do not recommend it. The bread was definitely from the day before, maybe even two days before (hard and dry!). There was very little sauce and few vegetables in my sandwich (at other Subway locations, they always ask if the portions are sufficient). As for the friendliness and smile of the cashier... let's not even go there... It was 7 pm and everything was already ready to close, no more cookies on display, and they automatically offered card payments so they didn't have to count their till! Disappointing...

18/04/2026: The setting is lush and green. The restaurant doesn't live up to the location. First time in my life I've been served steak tartare on a hot plate 🤔 They forgot to announce they were out of a product. Insular mayonnaise. Scallops cooked inconsistently. Luckily the head waitress was there to raise the bar.

08/04/2026: We attended the Royal Easter Brunch. Absolutely nothing to complain about; the venue, the welcome, the food, and the atmosphere were all fit for royalty. A truly timeless experience...

23/04/2026: On April 23, 2026, the renovations were completed, and only one stall in the men's shower was open. The entrance is from the parking lot. Parking for a couple hundred cars and only one men's shower.

18/04/2026: I don't recommend it! I found this immigrant on the trailer. And the security lady has nothing to do with it, on the contrary she yells at me. And yet you pay for secure parking.

02/03/2026: Good, but beware of the staff who aren't always very friendly…😬 Quick order taking, short preparation time, which meant we were done in 10 minutes, perfect for people in a hurry ;) Varied and original menu, fresh and good quality products. Clean interior, simple yet very pleasing decor. Very calm atmosphere. I recommend it.

13/04/2026: The establishment has been in receivership for some time now...dozens of suppliers are still waiting for payments that will never arrive, and this has been going on for years. Only the drinks served in returnable glass bottles are good; the Coca-Cola is actually well-made. As for the rest: you have to see it to believe it. For the rest, it's a nightmare. The owner, besides being unpleasant, watches you from his watchtower as if you were Jacques Mesrine. The service is excruciatingly slow (sometimes more than 30 minutes for a drink, even when there's no one else there). You also witness domestic disputes with his partner, who is also present. There are also altercations with customers... Any suggestion, comment, or criticism will send the owner into a rage, and he'll accuse you of all sorts of eccentricities. Just read the reviews of the establishment and the owner's responses. Employee morale has been at rock bottom for years. However, I would like to thank Stéphane, a very kind and experienced waiter who truly raises the bar. Keep it up, sir! The city of Béthune has many higher-end establishments that pay their employees and service providers. Yet here, where everything is falling apart and the place feels more like a run-down village betting shop in the mining region than a chic Parisian cocktail/wine bar, they have the nerve to ask you to remove your hat upon entering.

31/03/2026: A pleasant time was had by all. We received a warm welcome. The meal was decent: fresh ground beef for the hamburger, well-cooked andouillette sausage, and the Welsh rarebit was good. A minor improvement for the Welsh rarebit would have been a slice of bread rather than white bread. And the fries were a little overcooked. But overall, we enjoyed our meal.

02/04/2026: Unwelcoming restaurant with a very unfriendly waitress… We chose a scallop appetizer, which we quickly counted (just two tiny ones), followed by a tasteless skate wing. The only positive point: the food was piping hot. We won't be back.

30/11/2025: We were very disappointed with this place; it wasn't welcoming at all, and the two waitresses weren't smiling at all. The mussels had very little sauce, no finger rinse, and the salmon was served lukewarm. We weren't offered dessert or coffee. I don't recommend it.
