24/05/2024: Nice decor, friendly staff, small personal parking lot or large parking lot not far away, positive point.
No table service and we throw away the trays.
Recycling bin positive point too 😉.
Fries good but a little overcooked.
Overall I like this quiet little place for a little break between 2 purchases because there are lots of stores nearby. 👍

10/09/2024: What joy is this campsite "La Guinguette" in Berck, which I discovered at the end of August for a week, to celebrate the "80th spring" of a long-time friend.
I called the week before the last week of August, and the owner of the campsite offered me the last little chalet she had left for rent.
Not new of course, but impeccably clean.
I appreciated the place both for its family atmosphere, for its airy spaces, and for the fact that this campsite is on a human scale, rare in Berck.
I can only highly recommend this campsite, managed by its owner, in a professional manner, with rules that make it a place where you feel good.
I would come back to it.

28/08/2024: The owner and boss are very unpleasant, no skills towards customers, very poorly received, but if you come with a suit and tie to be well received, on the other hand, the little waitress is very nice, I do not recommend this campsite and this restaurant, and pay 45 euros for 1 night in a camper van with 2 children aged 1 and a half years plus 2 euros for a token per person for the shower, i.e. 51 euros for a 2 star campsite puff

25/07/2024: We loved it! On a stopover, driving south, and our AirBnB host recommended this place. The pizzas are great, and the portion sizes are very generous, particularly the kids’ menu. We recommend it!

Flies around the dishes, dry sushi because it is not fresh, faded taste, meats colored MORE than faded, defrosted pastries which are also faded, fries and other cold and tasteless foods..
Nothing positive! You are much more likely to get food poisoning than a good memory!
We will never come back again!

Good welcome, good bedding. Can have a fairly generous breakfast but a bit tight for a 3 star at least when compared to foreign hotels. Clean bathroom just missing gloves.
20/06/2024: We made contact by phone for a quick breakfast. We will come back as soon as possible to have breakfast.

24/06/2024: Nous avons été très déçus, un risotto qui nous avait fait saliver sur le menu s'est révélé largement pas assez cuit. Il croquait sous les dents.... Quand, en plus, le chef nous fait dire que c'est normal car c'est pas lui qui l'a cuit.... sans proposer de refaire le plat.... ça dépasse l'entendement. Par contre la serveuse a été très bien.

Well, your table is not up to standard, I had a skewer of inedible boiled meat at the place. grid with a price of 19.50 and frozen vegetables make an effort on the desserts we had frozen in the cakes, chamtilly bomb at the gourmet coffee. huge bill 116 euros without aperitif and starter that's very above I do not recommend this establishment also the waitress saw that my plate had not moved apart from the fries I had the thought yes but your meat or you cooked it well I replied I do not agree I am used to eating my grilled meat well cooked, I take quality

07/09/2024: Do not book this hotel without a contingency. We booked the holiday inn Calais in June 2024 for a stay September. Two days before our trip the hotel cancels our stay. This was obviously a nightmare as we were already on our travels, and trying to deal with rebooking on such short notice with no decent hotels left. When we called the hotel, we were told that there was a “very dangerous” flood in “four rooms”. When I asked why our booking was the one that was cancelled, even though we booked four months prior, we were told there was a large group coming so the manager made a decision. This hotel does NOT honour bookings clearly.

06/08/2024: This Tuesday, August 6, I went to the Rollancourt ponds to have a drink on the terrace and to take a walk with my partner and our daughter.
Nothing to say about the service.
ON THE OTHER HAND
When we were on the terrace a large parasol fell on our 2 month old daughter's stroller, fortunately her father and a few customers had the reflex to catch the parasol just so that she was not injured.
It’s an accident that we don’t necessarily foresee, BUT no one came to see if our daughter was injured or to apologize.
When I made the comment to a person who worked here, she replied that she had been urging the boss for a while to fix this parasol problem and seal it.
This was an incident that could have been avoided and could have cost my baby’s life.
I find it extremely unfortunate that no one cared to know if we were okay!
