30/08/2024: Visiting in the morning, I made a reservation for 6 people, lunch service. Friendly welcome by the lady at the counter who confirmed to me that the cuisine was homemade, especially the mussels and fries (Wimereux mussels and fresh fries). Having seen some unfavorable reviews, I took the liberty of going back before the service to speak with one of the staff who reassured me about the quality and quantity of the dishes served. So we had lunch and indeed, everything went well from the aperitif to the dessert. So nothing to say about this first experience. We will definitely return. I would like to point out that the exchanges were courteous and that the person with whom I had exchanged even came to see us during the meal to make sure everything was going well. I took the liberty of congratulating them at the end of the meal. To make matters worse, the bill was reasonable. The mussels are very good, the fries are fresh and well cooked and the ice cream is great. THANKS.

19/08/2024: 50 minutes between taking the order and receiving the order... Half of the products in one of the boxes are missing and in the other, an order error? No compensation of course. Much too expensive considering the quality of service. It's not the first time. Don't plan to see me again.

21/09/2024: Difficult to give one star! We had "lunch" in this "restaurant" yesterday afternoon and really do not recommend it. Very small mussels, very cooked but not very numerous. Beef “bavette d’loyau” overcooked and difficult to cut. Thick, lumpy maroilles sauce, little taste. Pretty decent fries. Bread: 3 slices of slightly dry industrial bread. Too bad there is a very good bakery nearby. Prices too high for the quality, €19 for mussels, €5.50 for beer... We didn't take the risk of ordering coffee and dessert (dessert from the bakery). Around us, a group of Normans will not have good memories of the local gastronomy. Whether Flammekueche or pizza, the base is puff pastry with large blackened edges! and the very light filling. At the checkout, the lady who asked my opinion seemed very surprised that I answered “very average”.... In short, La Paloma seems like a tourist trap to avoid. And I'm not mistaken about the address, it's 50 place du général de Gaulle.

09/08/2024: Passing through for lunch. We found this restaurant where we were very well received. A pleasant boss with a smile. Relatively fast service despite the fact that she was the only one taking orders and serving. Excellent cuisine. We had whole wedge and cream escalope. Very good value for money. We strongly recommend.

13/09/2024: Lovely little family run place with a real lovely attitude. Staff are attentive and very understanding of us of a lesser indigenous tongue. Food is delicious and warming. A far cry from our uk offerings in a supermarket.

04/09/2024: J ai demandé à Amalia 2 sandwichs au saumon dimanche car nous partions sur Paris. Autant en semaine ou avec d autres serveuses,les sandwichs sont savoureux,autant ce dimanche,il était clair qu Amalia n était pas encline à préparer ces sandwichs au saumon qui ont été bâclés....pas de crèmes ni d aneth... C est dommage car je suis une habituée et je n ai jamais eu à me plaindre de vos services.
