27/04/2026: Great restaurant! We come to Pastoureau regularly and have made it a habit to celebrate birthdays there and introduce our family and friends to this gem. The dishes (casseroles) are served directly to the tables when several people order the same thing, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The portions are generous and all delicious. The prices are very reasonable (€35 for the set menu). However, the waitresses (one in particular) are a bit rough, even curt, and the service is sometimes very (too) fast! Since the portions are so substantial, it's a real shame not to have a chance to "digest" between courses. Especially since sometimes, dishes are cleared before we've even had a chance to finish them (for example, mopping up the sauce) without even asking if everything is alright... or the main course is served before everyone at the same table has finished their starter. There's a proper way to do things, or at least to say so or ask, and that's never the case here. The waitresses are very (too) fast. This point really spoils the experience at this restaurant.

06/03/2026: A Michelin star, a magnificent dining room, beautiful glassware, and silver cutlery. Dinner promised to be a wonderful Valentine's Day! However, it was marred by several missteps. The cuisine was certainly creative, but stingy, using simple, inexpensive ingredients for four out of the six courses, and the desserts were disappointing. The cheese platter was excellent, though, and we didn't refuse it given the meager portions. From the very first bite, we encountered an ingredient we had specifically requested be avoided (in which case, why ask us a few days prior?), the wines were poor value for money, and the desserts were bland and uninspiring. Two members of staff were arrogant. Also worth noting: the only restroom in the establishment offered only cold water for handwashing. Only the chef seemed honest, although he was surprised that we weren't particularly impressed by some of the dishes. We expect better from this "starred" establishment, which would do well to improve. There are few reviews on Google, but I'm making the effort to prevent some people from having this very disappointing experience in the capital of French gastronomy!

05/12/2025: A €14 salad consisting mainly of lettuce leaves! The Caesar salad had mayonnaise dressing and a few breaded pieces of chicken. No croutons. The Parmesan had no flavor. Avoid it.

07/05/2026: We received a slightly cold welcome upon arrival, but Gaby, our waiter, was smiling and kind, even offering us an aperitif to compensate for the wait, which we ended up paying for, but it didn't matter… The atmosphere in the dining room quickly made us forget our initial hesitation. The dishes were beautifully presented, the flavors were there, so what more could we ask for? We had a pleasant time, and that's all we'll remember.

There was such a variety of greens and mushrooms used in my dish and the duck was amazing. I really appreciated the bread and how opinionated it was, it went well with the reduction that came with the dish You will walk out happy, and welcomed, wanting to come back again. I wish I lived in Lyon, just so I can go here more often
