18/09/2024: Excellent Japanese restaurant. Real authentic Japanese. No sushi platters but typical dishes from there. Remember to book. Special mention to the green tea crème brûlée.

10/05/2025: We had the moussaka dish which was excellent! Before that, we were offered a small appetizer: homemade hummus. The service was very attentive and efficient. We will come back with pleasure!

11/11/2024: Nothing more to say than: PERFECT. The dishes are excellent, varied and have wonderful flavors. For lovers of good meals, good ingredients and seasonal products, this restaurant is the best possible value for money if you are looking for an original and qualitative menu close to a gastro. (I even ate better here than in the great gastronomic restaurants in Lyon) The service is top notch and the menu changes every month. A very good time had. No stars but they are well deserved! 06/07/2025: We love this restaurant and we come from Lyon especially to have lunch or dinner there 🤩 The food is truly excellent, the desserts are delicious, not to mention the little sweet treats as an aperitif which always make a little impression! The fact that you can pick up your own bottle of wine from the cellar adds a little extra to this culinary experience. Finally, the couple is passionate and it shows! We can't wait to come back! 🤤

07/07/2025: Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The food was almost pure fat and was very expensive. Was a very memorable meal for all the wrong reasons. Food took a long time to come (ordered the prefix menu). The service was extremely snobby and didn’t speak english. Somehow they couldn’t understand the google translate to french either and brought a well done piece of lamb when I asked for medium rare. Surprised they would let a dish like that leave the kitchen - don’t let the pictures fool you! Given the reputation of food in Lyon this was more than a disappointment and I’d go as far to say it was an embarrassment to the city. The only way it could have been worse is if I got food poisoned but thats impossible because nothing edible was served!

A discreet gem in the 1st arrondissement... that fully deserves to be in the spotlight.

17/12/2024: Excellent dîner en couple Excellente cuisine, carte régulièrement renouvelée et service très attentionné Sans hesitation une des meilleures adresses de lyon. Un point à préciser, nous avions un chèque cadeau qui nous avait été offert. Ici, pas de choix imposé, pas de supplément masqué, on choisit ce que l on veut dans la carte, tout est clair ! De plus en indiquant le numéro de chèque cadeau dès la réservation, tout est enregistré, Il ne reste plus qu à profiter du moment ! Donc pour offrir ou pour profiter d une des meilleures tables lyonnaises, c est une adresse incontournable !

So I don't leave the place almost every evening, I've been there since the beginning of August and I can say that instead of relaxing on a beach in Ramatuelle or Le Lavandou, I spend my Lyon holidays in Lyon 3rd at Pizz'appel : the place that restores the stomach and..... the mind!
