03/07/2026: Puzzled to see the average rating of this place is only 3 stars. Its an unabashed traditional French restaurant. My experience is that it is a very good one! Really top quality ingredients, well prepared and presented, with nice wine. If that isn't what you want, don't go there! There are plenty of other places in Les Halles Paul Bocuse.

24/06/2026: A delightful surprise awaits at the Passionnement Truffes restaurant, located in the legendary Marché de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Dishes are prepared to perfection, following the purest French tradition, and are surprisingly fresh and well-prepared. Highlights include the Volleyball and Mushroom Fricassee with Morel Cream and the Veal Rognons with Port Sauce.

11/06/2026: Quality budget hotel where everything essential works. Not the wifi which is miserable. Almost enough hangers, hooks and shelves. The shower hanger could be better. Thanks for the good breakfast. Perhaps worth noting that there are two Ibis Part-Dieu hotels in Lyon. We went first to the wrong one. Both are within walking distance from the Part-Dieu railway station.

11/06/2026: Due to the rail strike, my train was cancelled, and I cancelled my reservation. Having prepaid, the fare conditions do not provide for a refund. I contacted the hotel by email to reschedule, but without success, as my cancellation was made too late. Since SNCF only notifies its customers 48 hours before departure, it's difficult to anticipate a cancellation! My scheduled business meeting has been postponed until early July, so I will avoid booking a room in an Accor hotel. I am also considering cancelling a pending reservation for Paris for July 2nd and 3rd. At over €200 per night, I was hoping for some kind of compensation from the Accor group; oh well!

19/07/2026: It's a shame I didn't check the reviews before coming; it would have saved me this bad experience. Personally, I don't recommend it at all! We ordered a simple Margherita, but the pastry was really strange, almost inedible. Furthermore, the hygiene of the place clearly leaves much to be desired, which doesn't inspire confidence.

15/07/2026: I went there for lunch one day to try it out, and well, it was really bad. I ordered the beef tartare, and it was awful; I've never eaten such a terrible tartare. It came with a strange sauce. The fries were okay, but otherwise, it was a complete mess. The waitress was incredibly rude. I asked for no salad, but the dish arrived loaded with it, and when I asked for it to be removed because I'm allergic, I got a raised eyebrow. I won't be going back! Save your money.

26/06/2026: We stopped there by chance for lunch. The menus are simple but very good, and the desserts are excellent. The waitresses are very pleasant; this little restaurant is really nice and offers very good value for money. We ordered two dishes: grilled grambas with pastis and a side salad, and two gourmet coffees with two kinds of homemade cake and a scoop of lemon, accompanied by a speculoos cookie with the coffee—very good.

14/06/2026: Very warm welcome, smiling waitress, fast service (16 people), good menu selection, attractive price.

22/06/2026: One sweltering evening, my friend and I wanted a glass of water. After politely asking the waiter if we could use the restroom, he very aggressively refused us access, even though it was over 38 degrees Celsius outside. I absolutely do not recommend this place, given the staff.

20/06/2026: Service 0/10. Avoid at all costs!!!

05/07/2026: We were group of 4. Even though half of the main floor was empty the rude receptionist decided to put us on the second floor. Up stairs is boiling hot, noisy with party groups. Never go there. We sit right. ext to the washroom. The food is nothing special. The ice tea is sub par nothing. compared to well know iced teas. Most of the items we chose were out of stock.

10/06/2026: Just good to know but no elevator and near a big road. Can be noisy especially if you want to open windows. Rooms are small and bathroom too. For the price next time I will choose another hotel near by.

31/05/2026: Very bad experience with this "hotel". Upon arrival in the evening around 7:00 PM, we encountered an unpleasant and indifferent receptionist. Long story short. I have never had such a bad experience at a Kyriad hotel. Booking.com really needs to step up its game!

09/07/2026: The Google reviews and ratings are quite accurate. I wanted my own opinion, and indeed, the sandwich was not great, expensive, and the service was disdainful.

26/07/2026: I ordered a McDonald's burger when I got home, and it only had bread, nothing else. I don't understand how that's possible; those are the only two ingredients of a burger.

25/07/2026: 30 minutes to be served with an incomplete order, cold fries, melted ice cream, the wrong toy... There's shouting in the kitchen and complaints about the slightest request. It's in my top 3 worst McDonald's in France 🏆 And no need to be "sincerely sorry"... Improve yourselves.

13/05/2026: As a regular at both the restaurant and salad bar, here are my comments: - Restaurant: I highly recommend it. The dishes are tasty and made with good ingredients, with some options that are a bit different from the usual fare. The service is good and the wait is reasonable! It's great to have a restaurant like this in the neighborhood. - Salad bar: The ingredients seem fresh and the pre-prepared dishes are quite good and varied. However, my disappointment with the salad bar is growing with each visit, as the portions are getting smaller and smaller. On my last visit, I could barely see the bottom of my container, even though I chose a pasta base and selected four ingredients. I found that rather meager (it's usually quite generous). At the price of the salad, you expect to be satisfied, which is increasingly less the case. Thank you for taking this negative point into account and best of luck.

28/04/2026: Regarding the takeaway bistro in Villette, Lyon 3: Several of us colleagues regularly frequent this place at lunchtime to create our own salads. The ingredients are always very fresh and truly delicious, which is what has kept us coming back so often. However, recently we've noticed a real change in the portion sizes: the base ingredients (carrots, lettuce, bulgur, pasta) seem to have increased, but the toppings that make a salad truly special have significantly decreased. Considering the price, we're starting to find this a bit disappointing and are disappointed with our salads, which is a shame because we really enjoy the place. We hope this can be adjusted to restore the quality and generous portions we used to enjoy.

06/07/2026: We had a very good meal and the atmosphere on the terraces was pleasant. No car noise.

30/06/2026: Warm goat cheese salad consisting of lettuce, warm goat cheese, tomatoes, and cucumber. You can tell right away there aren't many ingredients. When the salad arrives... without cucumber! And with cheap white bread... the disappointment is complete. I told the waitress but didn't pass it on to the owner.

24/06/2026: Visit of June 24, 2026: Very mixed feelings. The hot toast was good and indulgent, but the dessert was too sweet and cloying (peanut caramel cheesecake). The coffee was made with an automatic machine, and I didn't like it. The service was efficient and the welcome was friendly.
