30/05/2026: The manager was very welcoming. The waitress was also very pleasant. The portions were generous and the food was high quality. The price was reasonable. Everything is perfect for me to return on my next trip to Lyon.

23/05/2026: Tried the classic lyonaise quenelle (baked fish dumpling with beautiful sauce served with rice), dessert.

21/06/2026: Disappointment at Red Lunch: An increasingly unsatisfactory experience. The quality is getting worse and worse in an attempt to do everything.

16/06/2026: First time here in years, I see it's no longer under the same ownership. The restaurant is well-run, my order was exactly as ordered, and the fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. I'll definitely eat here again.

02/07/2026: This is the fifth year we've had our end-of-year outing at Crazy Golf with my colleagues. There were 25 of us tonight: mini-golf, then dinner, and then a really fun game organized by the owner! In short, we had a fantastic evening that everyone enjoyed. The only thing missing was the sea, and we would have felt like we were on vacation! Thank you, we'll be back.

11/07/2026: I came on the morning of July 4th with a friend who didn't speak French, but the waitress was quite unpleasant and, in her words, "in a hurry." I left immediately. It's a shame they weren't more welcoming and patient with a foreigner who was kind and wanted to make an effort to take our order. It's a pity because the setting is nice, but the service definitely needs improvement.

07/06/2026: We did a quick session in Lyon: +: Spacious, well-ventilated, and bright gym. Some of the routes are great. -: The route selection really lacks variety (not many boulder problems without coordination or run and jump), the volumes are greasy/slippery, and above all, there are too many gaps between the colors (the purples are only good for warming up, and the reds are just too hard). It's a shame because otherwise, everything is just perfect.

30/06/2026: I finished shopping and wanted to go home to Flunch to eat. Google said it was open at 9:30 PM, but we arrived at 8:50 PM and it was already closed. When we called them, the woman told me, "We close at 9 PM," in a very unpleasant manner. Avoid at all costs!

31/03/2026: This is ridiculous! I waited an hour for the fries to get cold, I asked for an extra order and they forgot it! Absolutely ridiculous! 🤦🏽

18/03/2026: The hamburger was completely smashed, the meat was cold, there was a drop of sauce and that was it. I called and they told me next time, I'd give me a discount 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, I waited 40 minutes for this and in the end I didn't even eat it

26/06/2026: We arrived for a drink in 40-degree heat, while France was in a state of near collapse. There were about a dozen of us, and we all ordered drinks (beer, cocktails). The heat was unbearable, so we asked the bartender if we could have a carafe of water. The owner told us no, they were out of carafes, even though it was barely 8 pm. No carafe, no water, and apparently no glass of water either. It's a disgrace. I feel sorry for that young waitress, having to work for that odious man.

03/07/2026: Puzzled to see the average rating of this place is only 3 stars. Its an unabashed traditional French restaurant. My experience is that it is a very good one! Really top quality ingredients, well prepared and presented, with nice wine. If that isn't what you want, don't go there! There are plenty of other places in Les Halles Paul Bocuse.

24/06/2026: A delightful surprise awaits at the Passionnement Truffes restaurant, located in the legendary Marché de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Dishes are prepared to perfection, following the purest French tradition, and are surprisingly fresh and well-prepared. Highlights include the Volleyball and Mushroom Fricassee with Morel Cream and the Veal Rognons with Port Sauce.

11/06/2026: Quality budget hotel where everything essential works. Not the wifi which is miserable. Almost enough hangers, hooks and shelves. The shower hanger could be better. Thanks for the good breakfast. Perhaps worth noting that there are two Ibis Part-Dieu hotels in Lyon. We went first to the wrong one. Both are within walking distance from the Part-Dieu railway station.

11/06/2026: Due to the rail strike, my train was cancelled, and I cancelled my reservation. Having prepaid, the fare conditions do not provide for a refund. I contacted the hotel by email to reschedule, but without success, as my cancellation was made too late. Since SNCF only notifies its customers 48 hours before departure, it's difficult to anticipate a cancellation! My scheduled business meeting has been postponed until early July, so I will avoid booking a room in an Accor hotel. I am also considering cancelling a pending reservation for Paris for July 2nd and 3rd. At over €200 per night, I was hoping for some kind of compensation from the Accor group; oh well!

26/06/2026: We stopped there by chance for lunch. The menus are simple but very good, and the desserts are excellent. The waitresses are very pleasant; this little restaurant is really nice and offers very good value for money. We ordered two dishes: grilled grambas with pastis and a side salad, and two gourmet coffees with two kinds of homemade cake and a scoop of lemon, accompanied by a speculoos cookie with the coffee—very good.

26/07/2026: I ordered a McDonald's burger when I got home, and it only had bread, nothing else. I don't understand how that's possible; those are the only two ingredients of a burger.

25/07/2026: 30 minutes to be served with an incomplete order, cold fries, melted ice cream, the wrong toy... There's shouting in the kitchen and complaints about the slightest request. It's in my top 3 worst McDonald's in France 🏆 And no need to be "sincerely sorry"... Improve yourselves.
