28/01/2026: A typical Lyonnais bistro. They serve delicious, hearty dishes. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but that's part of its charm. The value for money is excellent. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

30/01/2026: I highly recommend this traditional Lyonnais restaurant. We went there for the second time and it was truly a treat for the taste buds.

30/01/2026: We expected better from the world champion pâté en croûte, which lacked the layers of gelatin necessary for its melt-in-your-mouth texture. It wasn't the magic we'd been promised. On the other hand, the poached eggs in red wine sauce were very good. The veal kidney was splendid! A delight. But my husband ordered the veal liver, which he asked for pink, and it was too dry. The pasta and potato side dish was very tasty and sufficient. My dessert, the Valrhona chocolate pot, was truly delicious. My husband ordered the French toast with pralines, which was very good, but he also had the chocolate cake, which was just so-so. My glass of white wine at €12 was truly excellent: Saint Perray "Hongrie". Unfortunately, he chose a small Côtes du Rhône AOC, a real plonk. So, out of two menus, mine was perfect, but not my husband's! Hence the 3 stars.

24/01/2026: As fans of traditional Lyonnais restaurants, we were very disappointed by the quality of the food. The kidney, pasta gratin, and crème caramel were delicious. However, the Lyonnais salads were frankly awful, soaked in vinegar, probably bought at Metro (?), the eggs meurette were mediocre, the tripe was dry with a poor-quality breading, and the quenelle was basic. The set menu price is reasonable (€35), but the daily specials are very expensive. There are much better Lyonnais restaurants out there. Sorry, but we won't be going back.

11/02/2026: Quiet restaurant with fast service. My order was initially forgotten but quickly rectified. Prices have increased compared to the menu photos: €17.40 for the lunch special. The dish was good but could have been slightly more generous. Overall, a good place to try.

08/02/2026: I had a very good time at this restaurant. The service was quick and the welcome was warm, thank you to Choueb. The meals were very good, with sufficient portions. My only complaint concerns the spicy prawn dish; it's a shame we had to peel them ourselves. Nevertheless, I recommend this restaurant.
