26/07/2026: Yesterday I ate there. It was HORRIBLE. Nothing was right. Their sandwiches were bad, undercooked, and badly made. There were only rats hanging around. Everything was poorly done. Seriously, avoid it at all costs.

29/08/2026: We were won over by the place; we ate very well. The appetizers were delicious, and for the main course, we've never tasted such good sweetbreads. Yes, there's a hefty surcharge on the menu, but frankly, it's worth the trip. The waitstaff was very professional; kudos to these two very friendly young men. If you're looking for a truly good bouchon (traditional Lyonnais restaurant), don't hesitate to stop by Comptoir Chabert.

11/09/2026: A very reputable bistro, perhaps so much so that they forget the customer doesn't have to accept everything. Indeed, I received a video call on speakerphone, and given the ambient noise, it was difficult to hear each other. Well, it only lasted two minutes because after ten seconds the owner started yelling at me. They need to learn to express their displeasure more politely. The frogs' legs were very good, the gratin was so-so… The Lyonnaise salad was too vinegary… In conclusion, I was disappointed… Especially by the owner's attitude! Other bistros are much more worth the detour!

10/09/2026: The terrace area is located at a roundabout, making it quite noisy. It's a shame the service and welcome didn't match the quality of the food.

12/06/2026: We had a very good meal; the portions were generous and everything was served quickly. For starters, a special mention goes to the eggs meurette and the Lyonnaise salad, which were both excellent. For our main course, we had quenelles, which were plentiful and very well prepared. A special mention for the praline tart, which was simply superb—in short, I highly recommend it and don't hesitate to make a reservation.

12/06/2026: The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The food at Restaurant Café du Soleil was generally very good, and the menu was quite comprehensive. However, the portions were truly enormous, much larger than I expected. One person ordering just one dish would be quite full, and might even be unable to finish. The prices didn't seem cheap, but considering the portions, it was understandable. I suggest not ordering too much; if you don't have a big appetite, you can share with a few people, or order less.

The dishes are delicious, generous, and bursting with flavor, and above all, the service is truly exceptional. Special mention to the servers, who are absolutely lovely: always smiling, attentive, available, and incredibly kind. We felt truly welcome, and it's the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Two visits, two excellent evenings… clearly a place we'll treasure and return to with great pleasure! ❤️
