19/05/2026: We came for lunch shortly after arriving in Lyon on a sunny Friday, and it was great. The food, the laid-back bistro atmosphere, wine options, and service were perfect. It made for a perfect start to our weekend.

05/06/2026: Every time I come, it's like the first time. I love this restaurant because it's always so good... Focaccia 🍕 Pizza, lemonade, impeccable. The servers are fantastic, the food is wonderful... and its location in Croix-Rousse makes it perfect for a little stroll after eating. I highly recommend this place; it transports you to Italy! I'll be back soon to try the daily special (a set menu) which makes you want to eat everything!

09/06/2026: This was our first time at the Yule Log as a family. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The host gave us helpful advice, listening to our feedback. We enjoyed the game (though our daughter didn't, as she kept losing). The beers were good and the food was quite decent. The only downside was that some of the tapas, like the ribs, were difficult to share while playing. We didn't try the downstairs rooms; we'll do that next time. Thank you to the whole team.

04/05/2026: Honestly, excellent kebab! I highly recommend paying extra for the veal; that's what I did, and it was really good, one of the best in Lyon. The only downside is that the portion size might be a bit small for some, I think… Plus, there's a large dining area and the staff are friendly.

17/05/2026: Hands down the best latte or flat white you'll get in lyon. And surprisingly on the cheaper side too. Order the latte if you want it a little larger. The flat white is small. Outdoor tables overlooking the ruins and cathedral are icing on the cake. Great service with a smile. These guys are great!

23/05/2026: No value for money. Disappointed to see the unappealing service and pay €15.40 for a spoonful of beans, a spoonful of rice, and two enchiladas… The beans were overly spicy with cumin, the rice was bland and unsalted. The enchiladas were just okay. I don't recommend it if you're looking for authentic Mexican food; it's very much the American version.

18/05/2026: Disgusting lasagna, never order this dish! And disappointing pizzas too, the dough was soggy in the middle, difficult to eat. I'm Italian, we have pizzerias in Lyon in my family, really disappointing.

14/05/2026: I really don't recommend this restaurant, which serves unappetizing food. I was ordered a "truffle" pizza, but it turned out to be filled with mushrooms and a rather disgusting sauce.

26/04/2026: I was disappointed with the pad thai; it didn't taste anything like the original flavors. It was also expensive considering the portion size. However, the amount of meat in the dish was adequate. The service was quick and pleasant.

11/03/2026: Exceptional! The pizzas are already very good for a reasonable price: €12 for the four-cheese pizza and €12 for the vegetarian one. The service was great: one of the ingredients was unavailable, so for the vegetarian pizza (late in the day), the chef offered to create a custom pizza, suggesting even more ingredients (without raising the price). That was pretty cool! Once there: friendly atmosphere, pleasant conversation. Lots of little touches to make people feel comfortable: games to play while you wait, a guestbook where you can look at lots of drawings and even create your own, etc. No delays: 10 minutes between ordering by phone and picking up the pizza, exactly on time. A place you want to go back to even when you're not hungry.
