Friendly, welcoming, and very pleasant, even though it's the end of the season. I highly recommend this establishment, whether for lunch in the sun or après-ski drinks. 01/03/2026: A wonderful experience at Les Pieds dans l’Eau in Viviers-du-Lac. Superb view of the lake, ideal for enjoying a coffee and soaking up the atmosphere. Quick and efficient service, a very pleasant and bright dining room. A perfect spot for a lunch break overlooking Lake Bourget.

01/03/2026: A small, very cozy restaurant where they even prepare the meat on a grill right there in the restaurant. We went there because of the good reviews. Reservations are absolutely essential. You can also make them online, but you have to leave a €50 deposit per person! The restaurant is therefore very busy. This was also reflected in the service: impersonal, rushed, and not very communicative. We had a Savoyarde fondue, which was extremely runny. The cheese and white wine didn't blend at all. The green salad was quite tasteless, and the accompanying bread often fell apart in the fondue. The ham was nothing special either. The red wine was too cold. We also had dessert and coffee. Before we had even finished the coffee, the bill was placed on the table WITHOUT us asking. So, for us, it's quite clear – we can do without it.

19/04/2026: A must for a fantastic time. A dining room or terrace with a breathtaking view, yes indeed, and a truly authentic face in front of the oven: Maryse, who's been there since…ooh! The pizzas are sensational with a perfectly crispy crust, but don't forget (like we did today) the amazing lasagna. And then there's the famous blueberry tart…when they have them, because Maryse refuses to buy them. They make the pastry soggy. Or, failing that, her lemon tart. Should you ask if everything is homemade? If I were you, I'd avoid asking 😡 In short, a great time in an exceptional setting that's well worth the effort.

28/02/2026: Pizza + Fondue: The Ultimate Combo For 45 years, Maryse has been delighting Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe with her wood-fired pizzas at her restaurant in Lachat. It's a sure bet; you're guaranteed a great evening. Special mention goes to the Neapolitan calzone (which you can order open-faced), both spicy and creamy thanks to the combination of hot sausage and ricotta. You can also enjoy delicious Savoyard fondues, plain or with porcini mushrooms. There are also other more elaborate or slow-cooked dishes, such as beef cheek, which we didn't try. The wine list is fairly short and reasonably priced. I finished my son's fondue with the crusts of my pizza—what more could you ask for?! The service was welcoming and efficient!

21/09/2025: A very pleasant stopover, even though we're not in the mountains. The Prioux hamlet has authentic charm, with the stream below to cool our feet after a long walk. The old stone building is divided into two parts: the refuge section with several dormitories, the common areas (dining room, bathrooms with hot showers!), and the inn section. We received a very warm welcome, with a drink on the sunny terrace and dinner at the table d'hôtes. That evening, we had pella (tartiflette with raclette cheese), a green salad, and ice cream. I highly recommend it 👍

12/09/2025: Impersonal welcome, decent room and good quality dinner. However, the packed lunch and breakfast were too light for hikers.

02/12/2025: An exceptional place where you feel right at home, the food is incredible and the staff are so attentive. When I go back to Tignes, I know exactly where to go for dinner!

27/11/2025: As Savoyards accustomed to enjoying authentic fondues, we were disappointed during our last visit. The fondue tasted acceptable, but its texture was far from ideal, which ruined the dining experience. Despite two follow-up calls to the staff to point out the problem, we received no response, no apology, not even an attempt at a solution. This is all the more frustrating as we had fond memories of our previous visits here. Unfortunately, this lack of responsiveness and consideration for customers left us with a bad impression. An experience to forget, and one we have no intention of repeating.

15/02/2026: My husband and I came for our second Valentine's Day. It was a truly delightful experience, filled with sweetness, flavor, and generosity. As we were leaving, the manager told us we were the last customers before the restaurant closed. This touched us deeply and I think it will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you to this restaurant for making this dinner such a wonderful memory. 🙌 And a special mention to the owners: you managed to convey your generosity and love through the food and the memories we will cherish. 🩷

04/02/2026: Flexible regarding arrival time (we informed them of our delay and the manager didn't hold it against us). Charming, rather intimate setting. Quick and efficient service. Good food but relatively expensive. Value for money 3/5. Friendly welcome. Clean restrooms. Extensive wine list. We had a pleasant time.

23/03/2026: The worst McDonald's I've ever seen. It was filthy, especially the restrooms at 9:30 a.m. with unacceptable stains. The staff was extremely cold and unpleasant: when I ordered a coffee, the cashier sighed and responded curtly when I asked if the drinks were the same as at the self-service kiosk. It's appalling to have this kind of behavior towards customers. Very disappointing.

21/03/2026: I went through the drive-thru, so I can't comment on the overall atmosphere. As for the two drinks I ordered: one Coke had more water than Coke... and the other was just water! The sandwich was tasteless and squashed, clearly made a while ago, the fries were bland, and they didn't even offer any sauce, so there was no ketchup or anything else in the bag. I strongly advise against this McDonald's, which mainly uses its location to boost its profits; otherwise, everything else is practically nonexistent.

18/04/2026: Local produce, very generous portions (which are even more appreciated after a good hike), good advice... I'll gladly come back.

24/04/2026: Avoid this restaurant! We had booked for 5 people for a birthday celebration. The welcome was lukewarm; we were told they had a banquet taking up the entire room except for two tables, in the middle of the crowd. Outside on the terrace with a 93-year-old and in the wind, it wasn't advisable. Anyway. We were seated in a back room, at least quiet, which was the only advantage. A guy came to wash the table before directly placing the plates and cutlery there, without a tablecloth or placemats... Fine. We ordered the set menu for 4 and a frog leg dish. The frog legs came with burnt and unappetizing fries. The menu included a dish of tough sliced ​​beef and a very greasy rice dish... We won't even mention the presentation. For dessert, there were edible slices of tiramisu and a meager portion of strawberry-raspberry dessert. The young man was nice, but the woman was completely unprofessional, bordering on vulgar and disrespectful in her attitude. Living near the village of Les Mollettes, I will not be recommending this establishment.
