18/05/2026: Absolutely terrible, but I have to give it one star to leave a review. You'll understand! Our Booking.com reservation for the Herring Festival weekend was cancelled at 12:18 PM...!!! On the very day of our arrival. The reason: temporarily closed on the day of our arrival. We went to the hotel to find out what was going on. The owner's explanation, delivered with incredible audacity, was that bedbugs were only found in two rooms during cleaning. Not before! And in no other rooms! We'll leave any future customers, regulars, and Booking.com to ponder this! As for us, locals from Rouen, who go to this fantastic festival every year and stay in many hotels booked partly through Booking.com for our trips in France, Europe, and abroad, we completely understand the mindset and strategy of this establishment located in the city center. Too bad for us, and good for the two who booked directly. We absolutely do not recommend it and we're definitely forgetting about this establishment. Avoid it.

11/05/2026: We had a problem upon arrival; we hadn't realized that key collection wasn't until 5 pm. We arrived at 1 pm, and the owner immediately found a solution so we could get ready for our event. She was incredibly kind from beginning to end, thank you again. The only slight drawback was that the rooms were extremely cold; the tiles were icy. Apart from that, my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, next to the beach and the train station. We were able to take a short walk on the beach before leaving, which was very pleasant.

20/05/2026: On Tuesday evening... The only waitress was doing her best to take phone orders and manage the dining room. So... it was a long wait! I ordered tuna/sea bream/salmon sashimi. I was surprised not to see any sea bream on my plate; they were out of it. THEY SHOULD HAVE TELLED ME. Personally, I wouldn't go back.

25/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Honestly, I never imagined a Japanese restaurant could be so disastrous… You can feel the bad atmosphere as soon as you walk in, and the waitress is far from welcoming. The miso soup is tasteless, the rice inedible… The only positive point: we had a good laugh because it was so awful.

10/04/2026: Stop serving alcohol to my sister. She's an alcoholic, okay, but there comes a point where bartenders have to refuse to serve alcohol to people who are endangering their lives. My sister is small with green eyes, she drinks a lot of white wine and doesn't eat much. She's about 60 years old, if you know who I'm talking about. Stop serving her all that alcohol; it's criminal.

13/02/2026: The saleswoman in the newsstand refused to top up my PCS card because I was using a translator on my phone. I consider this discrimination and a lack of respect.

Sausages and fries this lunchtime with my family: fake Knacki sausages with disgusting frozen fries and 3 ridiculous cheese plates at €4.50 each, €70 for 4 people, run away! 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃, and I almost forgot, a measly piece of bread at 90 cents, when you see that bread is unlimited in most restaurants.

05/01/2026: Excellent pizza, prepared quickly and with a friendly welcome. I've been several times and I'll definitely go back.

20/02/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!!! The welcome was anything but warm!!! We had to wait to be seated! We were put in a corner and the service was slow! I tried the shrimp twice; the first plate was sent back to the kitchen because the shrimp were burnt underneath and had a burnt taste. The second plate was slightly better, but the shrimp tasted like water, just like the salmon. The roast pork was cold, but the sauce was good. Out of four dishes, only the hamburger and the fries were decent. Admittedly, I didn't pay for my meal because I complained loudly. But they won't be seeing me again!!!!!!

09/04/2026: Disappointing tacos, not filled at all except for oil. We asked for extras, but there weren't any. Anorexic tacos.

12/03/2026: The worst kebab I've ever eaten. To tell you the truth, I didn't even finish the meat. I don't know how it's possible to make something so bad, and I'm a real glutton, but even then I knew better than to eat any more of that meat. The guy took my plate and told me, "First of all, I'm so annoyed, I shouldn't get kebabs in the evening because they're no good!" I have nothing against him personally; he was nice, but I think quite a few people have had stomach problems after going there. First of all, let's start by not turning the grill off and then turning it back on; that'll help a lot. Anyway. Avoid it.

28/04/2026: I'm giving the bare minimum in stars. As a healthcare worker at the establishment, I can attest that the waitress and her so-called supervisor don't open on time and take their time drinking their coffee. Being late, I forgot to say hello, and she reprimanded me in a disapproving tone. The employee and her so-called supervisor lack professionalism towards customers.

19/04/2026: A very bad experience at Relais H. The reception was unacceptable. The person on duty that day was haughty, unpleasant, and clearly disrespectful. No politeness, no help, and an aggressive tone for no reason. This is unacceptable in a place like a hospital, where patients deserve a minimum of respect and consideration. This type of behavior seriously damages the institution's image.

10/03/2026: On March 6, 2026, at 3:30 PM, I bought two haddock fillets advertised at €16 per kilo, but paid €19.90 per kilo (0.735g), for a total of €14.63 instead of €11.76… no way to verify the price, the receipt was slipped into the bag with the fish! And given to me after payment!!!! Scam or mistake???? It's a shame, the fish was very fresh! This spoils the experience!

21/01/2026: Avoid this place! The seafood bites and crepes were inedible, the sour cream and shellfish were rubbery. I used to go to this fish shop regularly, but it seems to have changed owners. Since then, it's been a disaster: the employees are unpleasant, the fish isn't very fresh, and it's overpriced. I won't be going back.

17/05/2026: We regularly order through Uber Eats. Often, the items we receive don't match what we ordered. The wrap doesn't always look like a wrap; there might be chili peppers we never ordered... Most recently, we received a salad with chicken, lettuce, and cheese, but no other vegetables 😮 (even though we had ordered tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, corn, and bell peppers...). Furthermore, the price of the salad on Uber Eats is €5 more expensive than at the Subway in Rouen Saint Sever!!! That's a huge difference that seems hard to justify for a franchise in the same city.

15/05/2026: I ordered a sandwich with extra cheese, paid for it, and they forgot about it. I went back to explain, and they told me they couldn't do anything to offer me a free dessert. So that's it, I won't go to the one at the train station anymore, I'll go to the one in Saint-Sever!

16/05/2026: The pizza wasn't very good. I ordered one with Maroilles cheese, but there was no Maroilles flavor and way too much ham.

12/04/2026: Saw Festival... We were told to sit down and they would come around to take our order, then to order inside... There were numbers on the tables, but after an hour's wait, customers didn't have the correct orders... The orders were being passed from table to table... Some tables were being cleaned, but not others... In short, I could have understood if the service had been efficient, but not in such a crowded place... The organization needs serious improvement 🤐

07/07/2025: Salmon California rolls, the size is thinner than a sheet of paper if there's any. Avocado California rolls if there's avocado. In short, it depends on the cook's mood, according to the person I spoke to on the phone. She told me she didn't care and that the salmon was cut more than 24 hours before. For a 40 euro order.

07/07/2025: We left the restaurant as soon as we arrived: the waitress (red hair and glasses) didn't even say hello and immediately announced in a curt tone that "it wouldn't be possible to serve us." There were only four tables to serve—no connection or valid excuse. I didn't fail to point out her complete lack of politeness: not a single hello or the slightest effort to be welcoming. Frankly, you don't do this job if you don't have a sense of service and respect for customers. A very bad experience! It's a shame we can't give it 0 stars.
