And indeed, the cuisine is simple but very good, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Plus, you're greeted with a smile. On weekends, reservations are essential as it gets very busy. Closed in the evenings.

05/06/2026: Recommended by the Marseille Tourist Office. They said they would answer our call shortly. The website states "no reservations after May 30th." We went there in the pouring rain only to find out the restaurant had been closed for three days because "the owner has retired!" Nothing was mentioned about it. Awful! 😡

02/08/2026: We went there on Thursday at lunchtime to follow in the footsteps of Marcel Pagnol. We ate the red mullet tartine and the larks, the children had the small "pizzas." Everything was perfect. Very friendly staff, magnificent restaurant, incredible scenery. And the food... Delicious! ❤️❤️❤️ The after-dinner drink is also worth it! 😁 Thank you all for this perfect moment.

06/08/2026: We wanted to discover the region's fish specialties and chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from the La Ciotat Tourist Office, without taking the time to check online reviews. For starters, we shared fried fish. It was decent, although we would have preferred it a bit crispier. As for the main courses, the experience was more mixed. My friend ordered sea bream, which seemed a little too oily. I chose the bouillabaisse (called "marmite," I believe, on the menu, among the suggestions). It was my first time trying it, so I can't compare it to a traditional recipe. However, the flavors were quite strong and not what I had expected. I detected a burnt aftertaste. Some pieces of fish, particularly the salmon, which seemed burnt, as well as the shrimp, appeared a little overcooked. After the meal, after reading other reviews and photos, I also noticed that the color of my bouillabaisse was significantly darker than the other dishes served, which reinforced my suspicion that there was probably something wrong with the one I received. On the other hand, the mussels were very good. Given the price (€29 for the bouillabaisse and €27 for the sea bream), we expected a more satisfying experience. We also experienced some digestive discomfort the night after the meal. As for the house wine, it didn't particularly impress us. Ultimately, this experience unfortunately fell short of our expectations. However, we would like to highlight the quality of the service: the entire team was welcoming, attentive, efficient, and very professional. This is a real strength of the establishment.

27/02/2026: A wonderful place that I'm so glad I found. I just had a salad (a generous and delicious one) and a wonderful lemon-sugar crepe. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location (the docks) is exceptional and so unique. As for the staff, they are incredibly kind and attentive. I loved it. I can't wait for my next trip to the mainland.

06/07/2026: The phone service is appalling, they're condescending, forgetting that without customers they don't work. And don't even get me started on the cold, disgusting pizza. After a 2-hour and 45-minute wait, the delivery driver lost control, arrived angry, and threw my order at me. I'm simply shocked. PS: A little shout-out to Ratatouille 🐀 in the kitchen during our visit to the bakery next door at lunchtime. The restaurant's outdoor kitchen was open (it is all year round), but that day we saw the chef 🧑‍🍳 🐀 walk in!!!! Avoid at all costs!!
