On top of that, I didn't find the place welcoming!

Anyway, I ordered and
I asked for sauce for the fries and this person was very stingy. I insisted, saying that I'd pay extra if necessary, then he added more sauce. He told me that this time it was free, but next time I'd have to pay. An action that you might think was kind, but which I found quite inappropriate, considering the only small sachet of sauce, half of which is filled with air, that we're allowed 😂 it's incredible! Super disappointed with this snack bar, wouldn't go there.

01/09/2024: Terrible frozen croque monsieur, it was mush despite a complaint we didn't really have a commercial gesture. We waited about 20 minutes before being able to place our first order, which was served almost 20 minutes later.
We will not come back, we certainly do not recommend it.
We weren't expecting that, we are extremely disappointed because the bar is very well located in Saint-Étienne-du-Grès.

I really like going for coffee.
The atmosphere is pleasant, gentle.
Time has stopped.
The people are adorable, great energy and what's more, the café crème is excellent.
So don't hesitate, go ahead.

04/09/2024: Après un changement de propriétaire et de gérant pour cette saison, nous avons testé de nouveau le café des arts à Pont royal ; et le verdict est sans appel : bien mieux !
L'accueil de Baptiste était parfait, la carte bien plus sympa et les plats enfin bons , le tout au bord du lac. Bref je recommande vivement !

26/07/2024: Oh my, I haven't eaten so good in a very long long time, I swear. The vegetarian mezze were just wonderful and the falafel sandwich completed this taste experience to a perfect overall impression. And the owner of the restaurant, a highly accomodating and sympathetic woman, was a human gem through and through! We had a marvellous time here, thank you so much <3

21/10/2024: A golf course meal with dessert for €32, although the gratin dauphinois was excellent, the meat was well cooked but quite tough and there was no meat knife. No other dish other than this golf menu, we had to ask for other options for someone who didn't want meat. No wine by the pitcher offered only the wine list. Dessert was a creme brulee which was okay. I did not experience any friendliness at this restaurant and I would not recommend a golfer to have a meal at this price. Coffee was also €2.70.
12/10/2024: Authentic and tasty cuisine. The staff and owners of this place are very friendly. The 2 terraces are very pleasant on sunny days, including in winter the exterior one is very well exposed.
