05/12/2023: We have been to Del Gusto many times. The food is delicious. You get really good Italian-style pizzas and also very good pasta dishes. Contrary to local custom, the pizzas are not topped with Emmental cheese. The service is also super nice. Unfortunately, there is also a “but”. We were a group of 10 people and I reserved a table via the website. I also received a confirmation for the reservation, but there were long faces on site. The restaurant was closed. In my opinion that doesn't work at all. If an online reservation is offered, it must also work reliably. So in principle I can recommend the restaurant, but stay away from online reservations.

04/12/2023: Nous avons réservé pour 7 personnes, sur internet ( comme d'habitude), ok ! on arrive avec des amis mais le restaurant était fermé. Rien ne dit que c'était fermé, le portail était ouvert mais pas la porte principale, une carte du menu accrochéau mur, le téléphone sonne,mais pas de réponse, pas de message vocal disant que le resto est fermé. On comprend qu'un établissement soit en congé ou fermé, mais il faut avertir les clients , il faut l'annoncer sur internet, il faut bloquer les réservations..... C'est décevant, c'est un manque de respect

06/09/2024: It's a very well located Starbucks, the staff is welcoming and polite, however the commercial practice that was practiced for my order is really negative: I ask the cashier for a small Americano, the barista looks at the cashier and asks me " this size?" I said yes out of confidence and I realized that it was the size larger... I find this practice a little dishonest and above all disappointing. Apart from that everything went well.

02/09/2024: I went to this Starbucks for the first time. I ordered a large latte (and they didn’t ask me my first name 😅) The girl makes it for me in take-out mode with a paper cup and lid... I then tell her that it's for on-site... she says to me "you didn't tell me", at the same time she doesn't tell me didn't ask what I made him note 😅. She doesn't apologize for anything (it doesn't matter, I'm not touchy!). So then... she transfers it into a real cup...(great...) and gives it to me like that...(I should point out that there weren't many people there, and even one person or one or two from memory...). She doesn't give me a tray... it's up to me to ask... and incidentally it helps keep your tables clean so they don't stick lol... I saw that it bothered her... and I had to asked for a glass of water too… it was heavy… in short I felt that I was annoying him…. And I didn't even say that at the start I was the only one in line and the girl was doing I don't know what behind, not a hello, nothing to keep you waiting, I can understand being busy in a store EMPTY... and I'm very patient but hey... and I would finally move on to the detail where they were almost going to take the tray away from me even though I hadn't finished my coffee... but the waiter who had just arrived made up for it by Asking me if everything was okay, he admitted he was wrong… In short, a bad XP, and it's not the first Starbucks I've had so I'm very familiar with the top level of service in general, especially in the morning when there's not the accumulated fatigue of a whole day of work, like for example at the end of the day, what I could have understood…. In short, modestly, a little briefing is necessary!

15/09/2024: A disaster. On a Saturday at 12:30 p.m. two dishes offered: a vegetable plate or fish and chips (without fries since the waiting time is too long). Despite this meager offer, we had to wait more than 20 minutes for a breaded fish. It's shameful. The toilets were to vomit, extremely dirty, doors that don't lock, excrement on the floor..). The tables were obviously not cleaned so it was difficult to find a table. Finally, the waffles were soft and accompanied by a toasted taste. The renovation of the restaurant is great but the rest is very deplorable. What a waste

07/08/2024: Endroit calme et agréable avec la fontaine mais le serveur grand et chauve peu avenant, non souriant et se permet des réflexions concernant des pieds d’un enfant de deux ans sur le siège. Nous comprenons sa remarque mais il y a des manières de demander les choses poliment et gentiment. Bien pour le lieu, nul pour le service.

20/07/2024: We ordered a gin and tonic and a caipirinha, not good. The gin and tonic was served in a tube glass, no tonic, tasted like still water. L caipirinha in a large glass with ice cubes, not crushed ice, not great. Too bad, the setting is really very nice.

09/06/2024: RESTAURANT PROVENCE [IKOS DASSIA] – A SOMMELIER WHO IS A DELIGHT We recently stayed at the Ikos Odisia with our children and family. On 15 May 2024, we decided to take dinner at the Provence restaurant at their sister hotel (Dassia). Marketa at the Odisia kindly confirmed our reservations and happened to mention to the sommelier (Iro) at Provence that I had an interest in wine. Upon arrival Iro immediately introduced herself and engaged me in conversation to ascertain my tastes. She then left us to choose our dishes returning later with some suggestions. She gently steered me towards local wines, as I confessed to having little knowledge of Greek grapes. Her explanation of the tastes I could expect was perfectly described; and I must say her expertise in this area is profound. The white wine she chose (A PRIORI ΜΑΝΤΙΝΕΙΑ NOVUS WINERY 2023) was a perfect choice for a balmy summer evening. It was crisp and unoaked with delicious pear/peach undertones. It coped surprisingly well with my foie gras starter. She introduced me to a Greek red (Kanakaris Winery 10³ Merlot 2022) that complemented the lamb perfectly. It was light, but full of red fruits, that had a lasting aftertaste. I have spent more time in this review in relation to Iro simply because she made the evening for me. It is outstanding service like this that stands out and leaves you with fond memories. As you would expect from a top restaurant, the food was cooked and presented beautifully Service from all the staff was exemplary, and I am sorry I cannot remember the name of the lady who looked after us (and the grandchildren) so well. When you have a party of 12 and you leave feeling entirely satisfied, you know you have dined in a very fine restaurant that deserves recognition. CS
