27/08/2024: An employee there is very stupid, we were going to enter but she treated us very badly and we left, two customers lost due to bad manners and stupidity.

18/08/2024: The staff was very friendly. The woman who served us was attentive and friendly. He helped us with the menu, since our French is very poor. The food is very good. By giving you free water, we only spend on the food plate. Between 18-20 euros per person.

05/07/2024: We were in this restaurant last year and it was delightful, food and service. We returned and found the service a bit rushed and the food a bit disappointing. We were very cordially welcomed. Photos attached. When I returned to the hotel I discovered we were charged for champagne we did not order…€15. Not knowing this we left a generous gratuity since service was not included. This is a lovely little restaurant on a quiet alley and just wish it had lived up to our expectations.

16/09/2024: The service was terrible. I went there with my boyfriend on a Monday evening on our first evening in Arles, and we clearly saw a distinction between where they place the people they consider to be of good class (inside) and where they put the others (outside when the weather was chilly), giving the excuse that all the indoor tables were reserved while the restaurant remained almost empty even when we went out. They assumed that we didn't speak French even though I had just spoken French to them, the waiter slapped us with the bill without stopping at the end, and so on. When it comes to food, my plate was borderline warm/cold when it arrived and only the fondant was good. Honestly, no matter your ethnicity, go spend your money elsewhere.

19/09/2024: Restaurant situé sur le vieux porte mais sur une barge. La salle est grande et le décor naturellement rappelle la mer. Avec du monde c’est un peu bruyant….on parle fort à Marseille ! Dans l’assiette : belle entrée très fraîche avec la framboise en gaspacho/vinaigre de Xérès et burratina, en plat le filet de daurade se tient très bien avec sa tombée de légumes. Le dessert du jour est plus quelconque avec quelques fraises et une boule de glace. Le service est agréable et efficace, le pain frais et régulièrement renouvelé. Au final un moment, sans être transcendant mais le restau n’en a pas la prétention, agréable.

14/08/2024: Stop there! Don't come there anymore! Unless you are in the clan of the well-off. Gone are the days of beautiful, good cooking for the average worker! We don't mix anymore. The lunch menu at €23 is distressingly simple. As for the map, it is now flying on its own, it has gained altitude.... In the photo it's a hot goat's cheese carpaccio offered as a main course for €19, which is more like a tasting starter, no risk of being full. In fact, and my current budget doesn't allow me to do this, I would have to have a starter and a main course, then continue with the two other dishes on the menu and finish with two small desserts. Contrary to what it might seem, this sequence has nothing to do with a Rabelaisian menu, we remain cautious in tasting. In conclusion, if we are not satisfied, we leave lighter, especially on the wallet side. I left the old opinion, too dythirambic, submitted in 2019, things are changing, the progress of this young man in the kitchen is significant, let's wish him the best for the future.... The following is therefore no longer relevant. How to say? A good year of visits here... Close to a miracle. The man in the kitchen (unfortunately I don't know him) provides cuisine worthy of great chefs. Without any compromise, the spirit of Roger Verger at the Moulin de Mougins, of Mauro Colagreco in Mirazur, and of Stéphane Raimbault of the Oasis in La Napoule is present here. Nothing to do with Jacques Chibois, master of the bastide Saint Antoine, full of pride and very imbued, who manipulates his scullions with vehemence and sustains you at a high price! In short, the humility and finesse of the dishes have nothing to envy of the greatest, here it is almost a profession of faith, the average customer, worker or tourist, can delight in exceptional cuisine, everything is, the presentation, but above all the background, the flavors are there. The slightest mayonnaise or vinaigrette sauce takes you on a journey, and the daily specials compete in sophistication. In short, forget the tasting menus for anorexics at €185, at the inn at the station we find ourselves on the same peaks (or almost) at €14 or €19....!!! Obliged to specify, for wine lovers, including myself, the excellent quality of the wine in the pitcher! A unique place, as long as it lasts....

03/08/2024: Nous avons découvert un endroit réellement agréable tant pour l'accueil, le cadre et les repas servis ! Tout était parfait et nous reviendrons avec le plus grand des plaisirs!

01/08/2024: Une adresse dans le centre ville, un petit parking proche, mais surtout une terrasse ombragée et un personnel des plus agréable plantent le décors. Une carte courte et fraîche, le choix d'un tartare goûtu relevé à l'ail avec de bonnes frites maison. N'oublions pas la petite tapenade noire offerte à l'apéritif. Et le dessert, il ne faut pas faire l'impasse sur ces desserts signature. Le choix c'est arrêté sur un soufflé framboise citron servi tiède. Un régal. Petit café ☕ avec meringues. Un prix des plus correct de 36€ à la vue de la qualité des produits et des saveurs. Et surtout gros point pour le service et le personnel souriant, agréable.
