18/07/2026: Having lived in Marseille for 20 years, I'd love to be able to recommend this place I used to enjoy, but it's becoming difficult: the food is reasonably priced, but the wines are a bit less so. The atmosphere is generally pleasant, but the quality of service varies depending on the time of day, the staff's mood, and, above all, their personality. Tonight was particularly unpleasant: one of the employees was rude and disagreeable: "Man, if you don't like the look of me, that's your problem, but your job is to serve customers politely." I'll come back one of these days, maybe, and we'll see...

17/07/2026: Excellent dinner at the Longchamp Palace. The knives were simply incredible! The place is very welcoming :) The dishes were excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

14/07/2026: I used to order regularly, but the service has gradually deteriorated (1 to 2 hour wait). Then, they charged me an extra 5 euros for my order, even though delivery is free in my district. Pizzas are already expensive, so I didn't pay too much because the service was usually good, but now... it's just not acceptable. What a shame.

23/07/2026: A wonderful discovery of "O Quinze," located very close to the Old Port, during my short stay in Marseille. From breakfast and aperitifs (Come on, a little Mauresque beer, Serge 😉) to a delicious meal, and finishing with a great coffee and perhaps a nice beer in the evening 😉. A huge thank you again to Serge and the staff for their warm welcome and exceptional friendliness.

14/07/2026: We celebrated our wedding in an ideal setting; everything was perfect for the event. The estate is large and just begging to be used to its full potential: ceremony space, cocktail reception area, outdoor dining (at the end of the day), catering tables under the pergola, and a completely open room for the dance floor. The professional kitchen is a major plus, with cooking area, washing facilities (dishwasher available), cold storage, freezer, and catering entrance. We adapted our decorations to enhance the venue. Everyone loved the estate; it was our best event yet. The accommodations are brand new and perfectly suited for family gatherings. A great success, thank you Catherine! 😁

17/06/2026: It's not what it used to be... I used to eat the bo bun there, but the last two times I went, there was no salad in the bo bun, just two tiny pieces of carrot, rice noodles and beef in sauce on top, and no peanuts! I was really disappointed. The waiter was in a rush even though there weren't many people there... What a shame... I'll only go for the pho, which is still decent...

04/08/2026: A disaster from start to finish. The service was appalling, provided by an incredibly arrogant waitress who was clearly more interested in talking down to the customers than doing her job. The sauce was simply disgusting, with a taste so strong it was reminiscent of vomit. As for the prices, they are completely outrageous for such poor quality. This is by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Avoid at all costs.

12/08/2026: The service is impeccable; the waitresses are efficient, smiling, and responsive. The food is delicious, both in presentation and content. A particular favorite is the trompe-l'œil desserts.

12/08/2026: We stayed one night; the rooms are basic, and having the restaurant there was a godsend. Fast and attentive service. Fresh fish, which is rightly priced. Breakfast was basic, but essential for our trip. The location is breathtaking, a wonderful calanque, but also a bit crowded.

17/07/2026: We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we can't quite understand them. When we arrived, the tables weren't clean; the previous guests' food was still on them. This was the case on almost all the tables. Even later in the evening, the one waiter struggled to keep up, and the previous guests' food wasn't cleared until new guests arrived. We even had to ask him directly to get more drinks. The food was okay. Unfortunately, we found it very garlicky. Some people like that, but we felt it was too much. The single restroom for everyone was absolutely unacceptable. That's simply not on. Furthermore, we waited an hour for our appetizer after ordering, and the main course was no exception. We waited another 30 minutes for that one too. One small thing that bothered us was the lighting. There were only very bright, cold white LED spotlights. There was no trace of a romantic atmosphere.

04/07/2026: Ordered 3 pizzas tonight: absolutely delicious! Having lived in Italy for two years, we're quite particular about pizza quality. At Pizzas du Cengle, the dough is fantastic. The toppings are generous. Original recipes. Chicken curry. The minced beef pizza is incredible. The Italian sausage pizza is flavorful. And the staff is really friendly! I highly recommend it!

19/07/2026: We enjoyed two very tasty Margherita pizzas; the dough was excellent. A minor drawback was the limited variety on the menu: the salads were overpriced and there wasn't enough pizza selection. The pizza dough was delicious, though—we wanted more!

08/06/2026: We've been regulars at Red Peppers for about twenty years… This unique and friendly place becomes addictive from the very first meal! A warm welcome, delicious Tex-Mex dishes, and pop/rock concerts every Friday and Saturday that make us forget our food and jump and dance before returning with renewed enthusiasm. On concert nights, there's a cover charge, which is listed on the restaurant's website. For a great meal and fun while listening to good music in an atmosphere like no other, I highly recommend this must-visit spot in Aix!
