The bare minimum of professionalism would be to clearly indicate that the restaurant is closed for renovations. Not mentioning anything, giving the impression that everything is open, and then arriving after making arrangements... only to find construction workers in the middle of a renovation project, is unacceptable.
I find this truly disrespectful and indicative of a complete lack of consideration for customers.
09/02/2026: This Le Bistrot du Paradou will forever hold the most special place in my heart. What began as a beautiful lunch turned into one of the most unforgettable days of my life — this is where I got engaged. I hope to return one day and relive even a small piece of that joy. Merci for a memory we will cherish forever.

04/07/2025: The tapas are really good and the restaurant is pleasant, hence the 4 stars! However, do not trust the menus in Google photos because they are no longer up to date. This is a tapas bar and not a restaurant with "unique" dishes!
04/07/2025: We came in May when I left I said I was going to write a review as I had enjoyed it but I forgot then I remembered the delicious sea bream ceviche and here I am 2 months later with my 5 stars.

A truly exceptional and perfectly seasoned steak tartare.
Excellent and generous salads.
A large terrace (covered and heated in winter, for your comfort).
Perfect welcome and service.
15/02/2026: The pizzas look good, it's a shame I won't be coming because I think you're missing a cream-based pizza recipe with chicken.

The advantage: truly homemade food, flavorful, and not too greasy (especially the fried items). The buffet cost €24.99 on a Saturday night.
