17/08/2026: The pizzas weren't amazing, to be honest, but they were okay. The servers were super friendly and very welcoming. They really enjoyed our meal. So it's worth it, you'll leave with a smile!

31/08/2026: So glad I discovered this brasserie with a friend! We had a fantastic time and I highly recommend it. The setting is incredibly pleasant: a large, spacious, and well-shaded square with a small fountain, and parking nearby… It's so comfortable, the atmosphere is truly wonderful. The owners are lovely, always smiling and attentive, and the service is simply perfect. And the food was absolutely delicious! I had a generous and tasty burrata salad, and my friend had the homemade pesto ravioli, which were truly excellent. In short, a wonderful experience from beginning to end! A very welcoming place that I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will definitely return :)

30/08/2026: I strongly advise against this brasserie; it's truly awful. Our dish sat under the salamander grill for 20 minutes before being served. Thank goodness I didn't work like this when I was a head chef in Martinique, at Pointe du Bout. I'm about ready to write to the health department. Looking at all the reviews, some of them are beyond astonishing! The veal was very tough. Avoid it.

13/09/2026: A truly pleasant experience, a true Provençal dinner. Regarding the food, the Bouchon appetizer is highly recommended, with a truly excellent selection of local cured meats and cheeses. We then continued with the lamb shank and glazed octopus, both truly delicious and well-prepared. Regarding the service, if we really wanted to nitpick, it wasn't the fastest, but overall, the overall rating is absolutely positive. Finally, the atmosphere is very charming and welcoming. We especially appreciated the tranquility of the place: the low noise allowed us to chat pleasantly without having to raise our voices. Overall, an experience I recommend to anyone who wants to savor Provençal cuisine in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

(double hazelnuts, basically) with two slices of bread, tomato sauce, and a drizzle of olive oil, all for 15 euros 😳 In short, any Spaniard's breakfast for 3.5 euros (and I'm being generous). How did we get to this point?!? I don't think they even know themselves. I pay, vowing never to set foot on that terrace in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Marseille again…

26/09/2026: A rather surprising experience, to say the least. I went into this ice cream parlor in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence intending to eat some ice cream there. I simply had some churros with me that I'd bought at the fair, which I planned to keep to eat later at home. Apparently, the mere fact of having them with me was a significant enough problem that I was asked to leave the establishment. I should point out that I had come specifically to buy and eat their ice cream. Clearly, even when you come to spend your money at your place, you first have to pass the churro vetting process. I can understand that an establishment might not want outside products consumed on the premises. However, turning away a customer who wants to buy your own products simply because they have food purchased elsewhere is a rather peculiar way of approaching customer service and business. My main memory of Saint-Rémy will be of an ice cream parlor where you can be asked to leave before you've even had a chance to enjoy your ice cream. It's a shame, because a little courtesy would probably have been enough to avoid this unpleasant experience. I should mention that I live in Maussane-les-Alpilles and this is the first time I've been treated like this in the area.

30/08/2026: A must-visit for artisanal ice cream lovers! After trying numerous ice cream shops around Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, as well as in Saint-Rémy itself, Le Roma is without a doubt the best I've ever discovered. The artisanal ice creams are simply excellent: the flavors are intense, authentic, and perfectly recognizable, with a true taste that matches the chosen flavor. Some flavors are also enhanced with indulgent pieces, like cookies or Ferrero Rocher, which adds an even more enjoyable texture and experience. Special mention must also be made of the sorbets, which truly give the impression of eating the fruit directly. They are fresh, fruity, and particularly delicious. For ice cream, I highly recommend the yogurt, which is absolutely sublime, as well as the Ferrero Rocher, which is particularly decadent. And for sorbet lovers, it's impossible not to mention the passion fruit sorbet: it's simply the best sorbet I've ever tasted! A very pronounced, fresh, and natural fruit flavor. A quality that clearly sets it apart from many other ice cream shops I've tried in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return!
