25/07/2026: The food selection was good, and the service was very friendly and attentive. When it's busy, there can be longer wait times. Because it's always so crowded, seating is limited, so it's often impossible to find a table.

20/10/2026: A small place with a lovely terrace next to Aix Cathedral. Very lively, with friendly service. You can enjoy oysters (gratin or plain), mussels, and other appetizers in a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Avoid if you like not to overpay for old hummus, oily ‘kebab maison’ with lot of chicken skin and old feta cheese, and a bland Niçoise salad with soggy, overcooked vegetables. It should be said their location and atmosphere is lovely and their service ok.

15/10/2026: Arrived at 11:15 AM and was told by man behind bar that breakfast was still being served (as website says until noon). When server came I asked for something menu for food) and was told the kitchen was closed and lunch wasn’t served until noon. Very disappointing since I paid a 15euro cab ride to eat here based on reviews.

12/09/2026: Passing through Aix-en-Provence, feeling a bit peckish, my wife and I were looking for a place to grab a sandwich around 3:30/3:45 PM. We stumbled upon La Maison du Hamburger and we highly recommend it. The positives: - Very warm welcome - Excellent service - Homemade fries, butcher's meat... in short, fresh and high-quality products - More than reasonable prices The negatives: - The terrace is sloping (but that's just a minor detail) And... well, that's the only negative point, but it won't stop us from coming back and recommending this place to our friends. Thanks again for the warm welcome and for the Bobby's tartare and barbecue burgers with regular and sweet potato fries, as well as the onion rings. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

06/09/2026: Order: Double Smash and New Yorker. I'm giving it 2 stars only because it's a quick fix and edible, but the technique is completely lacking. The meat: It's impossible to make a proper smash with standard, overly lean steaks. You need fat! Result: no caramelization (zero Maillard reaction), no crust, and the steak is dry. The burgers: Far too dry, desperately lacking in sauce to compensate for the meat. The fries: The effort to make them homemade is there, but they're served completely soggy.

12/10/2026: I ordered from Uber Eats. I chose shrimp spring rolls and shrimp stir-fried noodles. There were pieces of meat in the noodle dish. It would be good to mention this for people who don't eat meat. It's disrespectful. There were no utensils in the bag either. I won't order from them again and I won't recommend them to anyone I know.
