25/07/2024: Small shop but much warmer welcome than in some tea rooms in the area. Also ideal for a tea or coffee break.
06/07/2024: I lived on rue d'Aubagne as a kid and I always walked past it to go to school. Now as I grow up I understand better why my mother bought here.
It's good and perfect with good tea or even for parties.

18/08/2024: A particularly disappointing experience in this Japanese restaurant. The welcome was very cold, and the waitress lost her calm in front of our young children who were innocently playing with chopsticks. To top it off, she threw a bowl of rice in our faces, which is totally unacceptable. In addition, we discovered a hair in our sushi, and no compensation was offered despite our complaints. The prices are exorbitant for the quality of service and food. I won't come back.
13/07/2024: The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. The food is fresh and excellent! The bentos are neat and very good, with different marinades and sauces for each small dessert.
I recommend the detour!!

bingo as soon as the aperitif is served the dishes arrive, we send them back by negotiating because we force you to accept the dishes, at the end of the day the waitress tells you that it will be cold..

in short, French service
they won't see me again

20/09/2024: I was delighted to discover this very good traditional restaurant. The lamb couscous and the lamb tagine were delicious. The desserts too! The setting is very beautiful (we ate on the terrace)

15/09/2024: A truly exotic restaurant. The courtyard side terrace allows us to maintain an intimate atmosphere without the hazards of outside traffic. The service is just top notch 👌🏼 very caring and professional. The cuisine is tasty and the ingredients are quality! Mint tea at the end of the meal: what a joy 😌On the other hand: only one downside concerning the toilets which deserve a real refresh and an obvious renovation with a grab handle for people with mobility difficulties as well! Otherwise everything is perfect 👍 Don't hesitate to take a trip to Morocco if you go through Aix: a change of scenery guaranteed but remember to book because it's always full 🌟

10/08/2024: During the Olympic Gamas, I went there almost every day.The food was delicious and authentically Indian, with rich flavors and generous portions. Despite the high quality, the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for money.
What truly stood out was the amazing service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and making us feel very welcome. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to our meal.

First, the cheese was the most disgusting thing I've ever had. It tasted so awful, you wouldn’t believe it. We didn’t finish it. Also, it was too expensive.
Plus: I ordered a beer without alcohol and got a beer with 0.4% vol. This is NOT “alcohol-free” as advertised.
Also, the bar is very dirty inside. It was a mistake to use the toilet. It smelled bad. Only the cheese was worse.
21/09/2024: I give 5 stars because Roulianos' comment below is unjustified: the waiter was certainly not very smiling but friendly.

24/09/2024: Unfriendly, they do NOT respond to emails. Staff is arrogant and slightly aggressive. A huge disappointment.
18/09/2024: Advised by a friend, we went to Au Ventre de l’Architecte on a Tuesday evening. The so-called “gastronomic” restaurant only benefits from the view unfortunately. A service far from meeting the expectations of this type of restaurant and an atmosphere far from warm. The waitress does not explain anything, has little knowledge of the wines (and the stock), allows herself to put food back on the plate while it is at the table. Speaking of the food, it is bland with questionable pairings, very far from the expected taste for a menu at €59 excluding drinks.
It's a shame, the restaurant doesn't live up to Le Corbusier. I advise against it, and so does my wallet (€153 spent).
