13/08/2025: A restaurant with very good food. The waiters are very pleasant. An excellent menu of revisited desserts. But the service is unfortunately much too long. An hour between the aperitif and the starters. Except for my 7-year-old son, the children's menu was served with correct timing. Thank you for your welcome and your good suggestions.

05/08/2025: HERE WE ARE DIVING INTO THE WORLD OF PAGNOL AFTER A LITTLE WALK IN MARCEL'S FOOTSTEPS... The welcome was very warm, a local aperitif and a meal of very high quality. Even a 92-year-old grandmother from Marseille approved, that's to tell you, she even congratulated the chef. Bravo!

24/06/2025: I'm sorry, but I have to lower my rating from 1 star because we came back for Father's Day and were seated on the veranda without air conditioning! So when we asked the waiter if it was possible to turn it on, he replied, "We can't, it's forbidden." We didn't understand his response. So, we ate in the heat, and the meal was not very enjoyable. We asked for a table inside for dessert, which was granted! Good Chinese restaurant! Good buffet, good products. Good value for money. Very decent service.

10/12/2024: Never been disappointed with Saint Barnabé sushi, I tried to order from the one in Joliette which is closer to home... What a disappointment!! Fried sushi... In my opinion fried several times... It was so inedible... The tacos were all soft... Fondant cheese... Without cheese... I will no longer order there.

28/01/2026: I strongly advise against going there. The chicken had a gelatinous, greasy texture and no taste, the shrimp were the same, and the rice wasn't good either. In short, we threw everything away! I saw the delivery, and everything arrives in boxes from China, including the Peking duck. Frankly, it wasn't appetizing at all. Last time I'll ever set foot in there. The service was terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Succulent Octopus, auTop pasta, an extra burger, as for the meats, magical and the cooking corresponds to your wishes unlike what we usually encounter in restaurants. As for reception, many should be inspired by her, magical Lucas and Marine, in addition to her charm she has a wonderful sense of welcome down to the smallest details. We recommend.

Once you've finished your main course, wait at least half an hour for dessert. And above all, don't show up; you'll face the arrogance of a disorganized waitress. A shame.

30/09/2024: On y est allés car le restaurant qu’ont voulait était trop loin. Belle découverte mais sans +. Serveuse sympathique mais le lieu est un peu vieillot (comme figé dans le temps). Des plats simples et certaines spécialités fallait les commander à l’avance mais rien de bien grave car il y avait d’autres choix.

25/12/2025: Let's keep it simple and to the point: - I ordered a Black Forest cake for 6 people for 50 euros, which wasn't actually a Black Forest cake at all. It wasn't good, and the ingredients were clearly low-quality. - The reception from the pastry shop lady was appalling. Disappointed at having been ripped off like this, I called a friend from Marseille who knows the city like the back of her hand, and she confirmed Marrou Catering's terrible reputation: "Marrou isn't good, everyone knows that." You should always do your research before ordering. Customer disregard will backfire on you sooner or later! Goodbye, Marrou!

05/12/2025: Honestly, I'm very disappointed! The flan was of very poor quality for a Marrou product! The bottom was completely burnt, inedible! The puff pastry wasn't fresh. A pastry unworthy of the brand.

06/12/2025: A very poor experience, to put it mildly. I booked a night at the Ibis La Timone Marseille hotel by phone due to a hospital appointment the following day. Early in the morning, I was woken by an unbearable noise inside the hotel. Elevator renovations—not mentioned when I made my reservation—forced me to climb four flights of stairs several times, despite having a limited leg. The workers gave me mocking looks and were unable to utter a kind word or even free up the elevator—not even for a minute—to make it easier for an elderly woman to use it. Beyond this extremely unpleasant situation, here are the services offered by the Ibis Timone Marseille hotel: > A ridiculously small room, overheated and with no way to regulate the temperature. > An outdated bathroom with a flimsy bar of soap stuck to the shower wall. > No kettle, no toiletries of any kind, nothing, not even a notepad. Hotel Timone Marseille, a three-star hotel...??? It goes without saying that for such low-quality services and at the price paid, the value for money is simply unacceptable. I understand the enthusiasm of many travelers for Airbnb-style accommodations, which are of far superior quality and much cheaper, and which, moreover, welcome you with a smile and those little touches that make all the difference. In short, I absolutely do not recommend the Ibis Marseille Timone hotel, a hotel that in no way corresponds to a 3-star hotel as advertised on the front door.

30/09/2024: We are sold an authentic Neapolitan pizza but without ever having been to Naples. The dough is difficult to cut, tasteless, and the ingredients are low quality. The servers are borderline friendly, and the restaurant is certainly located in Saint-Rémy, but from there to make a basic pizza for more than €22 it's a tourist trap.
