08/03/2026: We were about to go in for lunch, then the owner came out to change the menu display. Not a hello, he simply complained about the other customers, with a haughty and disdainful air… we went to eat elsewhere 😉

The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the cozy atmosphere invites relaxation. We particularly appreciated the authentic flavors and the perfect balance of seasonings. A restaurant where you feel right at home, with excellent value for money. An address to remember. We'll definitely be back!

05/05/2026: I've been a customer since the beginning; I love their cuisine—it's refined with vibrant flavors. The lunch menu offers excellent value for money and is a real treat. The new premises are also a success, and the servers are friendly and professional.

08/06/2026: "A very businesslike sense of hospitality" Attempted to make a reservation for two adults and two young children (3 and a half and 1 year old). I was immediately told there was no children's menu—no problem, we planned to adapt. But the establishment's true philosophy was then revealed to me with disarming frankness: welcoming a baby and a 3-year-old "deprives the restaurant of proper place settings" at a table for four. Faced with my (perfectly understandable) astonishment and my remark that she could have simply told me politely that children were not welcome, the owner took offense at my "tone." She reminded me that she "does what she wants in her own home," before threatening to "become aggressive" and hanging up on me. Good for her: we'll leave her alone "in her own home," safe from families and any sense of hospitality. Impeccable cutlery management, but human resources and local business management need to be reviewed.

30/05/2026: A very warm welcome in a setting typical of the Pays d'Auge region. We thoroughly enjoyed the lamb and the andouillette sausage. The portions were generous. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth a visit.

15/04/2026: I drove past this place two years ago, and made a mental note to visit. Drove past it last weekend and fulfilled my wish. After many years in France, and many fish and chips meals, this is the BEST I've ever had here. Simple decor but with food like this, you don't need extravagant soundings. Estelle and Ben were really friendly and a joy to meet. My kids and I had fish and chips obviously and were not disappointed. The only place I have been to, offering both brown sauce AND malt vinegar as condiments! A true rarity. My partner (Normandy origins) was very happy with a burger topped with camembert. Finished the meal with a sticky toffee pudding, again a joy and rarity to have. If your British and want a true taste of home, stop by here. 23/05/2026: A very good experience at this small bistro with excellent service. The staff agreed to serve us just before closing time, even though no other restaurants were open nearby. The food was good and the service was quick. I recommend it!

A special mention for the decor—it's absolutely stunning, cozy yet modern, nothing to complain about. I highly recommend going there without hesitation; trust me!
