10/12/2024: Perfect stay!!! The room, dinner, breakfast everything was perfect. the spa is just a Hammam but if you opted for a massage during your stay you will be delighted 😉 The hotel also has secure paid parking, of course, but like almost the entire city!!! Given the central position of the hotel you can do everything on foot. It's really appreciable.

08/12/2024: After visiting this place several times, the service is no longer the same. . Long wait, blatant amateurism... The choice of the menu is limited, the dishes are good but less refined and less well presented than before.

14/01/2025: Definitely a must stay in the Normandy region. A place full of history, perfect for staying and visiting the historic sites of the 2nd World War, museums, landing beaches. Hotel has excellent on-site restaurant

26/08/2024: Nous n’étions pas revenus dans ce restaurant situé « dans » le château depuis des années, époque « café Mancel » et Bib gourmand. Sale cosy, simple mais agréable. Menu à 30€ : Jolies entrées (césar revisitée, ceviché frais mais peu assaisonné en sel/citron), plats copieux (cote de cochon excellente mais garniture tartare/caviar aubergines/grenailles un poil riche, bon risotto). Enfin 2 excellents desserts néo classique (millefeuille ganache chocolat et tarte citron) nets, pas trop sucrés et gouteux. Offre vin simple mais efficace. Jeune serveur débutant,…on lui pardonne. Equipe sympathique. Attention : vaisselle pas hyper nette (verre à eau, assiettes noires entrée). Règlement ANCV possible. Le Mancel dispose d’un rooftop à essayer pour l’apéro 😎. Ce resto pourrait être dans le Michelin (même sans distinction).

28/08/2024: Ho chiesto dopo pochi minuti dall’ordine di poterlo sostituire ma mi è stato detto dalla cameriera che era troppo tardi! Il piatto me l’hanno portato dopo 25 minuti dalla mia richiesta di cambio, c’era tutto il tempo per fare il cambio quindi non ha voluto farlo. Non ordinate calamari fritti! Anche gli altri piatti presi dagli altri componenti della famiglia non raggiungevano i minimi standard italiani Federica

02/10/2024: We chose this establishment for a discovery stopover in the Pays d'Auge and we were won over by the kindness of the hosts, owner and employee, and by the quality of the bedding and the rooms. Ideally located in this charming village, everything is done to keep a very good memory of this stopover in this very picturesque region. Be careful, however, the very narrow staircase is not suitable for elderly people or people with reduced mobility.

24/08/2024: Franchement pas terrible et au final bien cher pour une creperie. Ça a mal commencé par le Spritz pas frais et sans bulle qui l a rendu trop sucré. La pâte a crepe sarrasin quelconque pour la crepe au saumon qui semblait de piètre qualité et des poireaux en dés à peine cuisinés. Y a sûrement mieux ailleurs.

21/08/2024: Nous avons dîner là table derrière une fenêtre qui c'est avéré être les toilettes fenêtre ouverte je vous passe les détails. La galette trop sèche croustillante et le prix trop élevé pour une crêperie. Semblant de qualité

The spa was lovely and not too crowded, and the facilities were of good quality. The room was well-appointed with beautiful amenities; nothing was lacking. The restaurant was pleasant with delicious food—thank you to the waiter for his excellent humor! And the breakfast—wow, what a selection!
