04/07/2026: A huge disappointment, far from the expected standard. The setting lacked charm, with no terrace or air conditioning during the heatwave. The portions were ridiculously small considering the prices. The value for money was extremely disappointing.
Negative reviews, when detailed, are often the most revealing of a restaurant's true weaknesses.
We absolutely do not recommend this place.

18/08/2026: The owner was unpleasant; we almost felt like we were bothering them, even though we arrived at 8:35 PM. The owner was awful, not a smile, the children asked inappropriate questions, she said we were annoying her. She closed the shutters just as we were finishing our dessert and took away our plates before we'd even finished eating. Having several accommodations on the coast, I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant to my guests.
18/08/2026: The service was slow and very disorganized, but the meal was decent overall, and they forgot some orders (coffee, bread, and the wrong flavor of ice cream).

29/04/2026: Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly.
The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
I highly recommend it!
24/03/2026: The price did not reflect what was served on the plate: the scallops had rings in the scallop meat that hadn't been removed and were overcooked.

16/08/2026: The biggest advantage: incredibly fast service! A must-visit in Deauville, very close to the beach, my favorite restaurant for years. The team is very welcoming and dynamic, I highly recommend it!
14/08/2026: We had the opportunity to go there last Wednesday with my children, nothing to say, very friendly and attentive waiters, the dinner was delicious, the place was wonderful, I will gladly return.

15/05/2026: Along with classic lasagnas and pizzas like you won't find anywhere else, you'll find a wide selection of quality Italian products: cheeses, cured meats, desserts, antipasti, pasta... and wines. And the service is always excellent. Well done! And even though the shop is small, it's still charming; don't hesitate to go.

02/08/2026: This is a negative star restaurant. As bad as it gets. Don't be too sure who the customer if you sit down. Mistake with the order and you will get asked if you have an allergy. Zero attempt at customer service. Only survives due to the prime corner location opposite the museum. Should have read the other reviews below entering. My own fault
30/07/2026: While on holiday and passing through on July 28th, we ate with our little dog and were very satisfied. The service was impeccable and jovial; we were not disappointed. It was the best restaurant of our stay!

I come to this restaurant every time and I'm never disappointed. Each time, I'm completely satisfied: the mussels and crêpes are delicious, and the service is pleasant. It's always a real pleasure to come back here!
I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

The staff is welcoming and cheerful, and you feel comfortable every time you visit. It's a place I highly recommend and where I'll gladly return!
