19/02/2026: Lots of activities. The children had a blast with the water games. The beach, the sea, the sand, the horses, the sailboats, the sandcastles... In addition to the historical sites about World War II, tanks, cannons, bunkers, and museums... So much to do.

29/01/2026: Relatively disappointed with this Capfun campsite for my week's holiday. Positive points: Close to the beach, the pool is pretty good, and the mobile homes are in good condition, but that's about it. Negative points: - The mobile homes are crammed together. You sneeze, and 15 other mobile homes practically say "bless you." Absolutely no privacy. Our living room overlooked the toilet in the next mobile home; its toilet window was a meter away from our kitchen. - The pool is okay, but the wooden castle with the slides stinks terribly. The wooden slats are cracked, and mushrooms several centimeters high are visible everywhere inside. - The campsite's safety is questionable. A child got their leg stuck in a play structure 3 meters off the ground. After waiting 15 minutes for someone from the campsite to finally come (in vain), some parents had to climb onto the structure to help the child... - A Club Med staff member contacted my 13-year-old daughter to explain that they were going to organize a pool party exclusively for girls. My daughter wanted to go with a friend, but my wife was refused because it was reserved for minors only and parents weren't allowed. So, Club Med staff (and only men) are organizing pool parties with ONLY minors and "hidden" from view; it's a pretty questionable concept... - The snack bar is a complete joke... the prices displayed aren't always the ones charged. During a "themed" evening on August 15th, we had reserved meals for the family. Once we arrived, the meals had been given to the "regulars at the campsite." I wanted to get something else, but apparently at 7 p.m., the snack bar was out of stock... - On the day of departure, a maintenance worker thought it would be a good idea to run a string trimmer around the pool area near the children, scattering dozens of pebbles everywhere. My 6-year-old son got hit in the face with one while he was in the pool...

07/08/2026: Grumpy waiter who immediately made comments because our 4-year-old daughter had finished her sandwiches outside the restaurant (not even inside) instead of welcoming our group of 8 people in total. The other three children wanted to order a crepe, but because it was a “dessert,” that wasn't allowed. The food was otherwise fine, but the atmosphere inside was completely lacking.

06/08/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We unfortunately only looked at the reviews after going into the restaurant—what a mistake! The service was truly awful; the staff were unfriendly and showed no consideration for our satisfaction throughout the entire meal. The quality of the dishes we ordered was completely lacking.

03/08/2026: The waiter was pleasant, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to convince us about our lunch today. The chicken burger cost €17 and had three nuggets inside and undercooked fries. The same went for my regular burger. The €19 set menu was passable: whelk in a bland broth, dry veal cutlet, and a chocolate crepe with an acidic taste. For the price, we would have been cheaper at McDonald's with equivalent quality. It's a real shame because we used to love this restaurant.

22/08/2026: Avoid at all costs. This place unfortunately gives the impression of having forgotten the most important thing: the customer. High prices, a frosty welcome, a deafening "boom-boom" atmosphere when all you want to do is enjoy a glass of wine and some tapas, and frankly, the value for money is outrageous. The atmosphere is so peculiar that you almost wonder if you've stumbled into a bar in Honfleur or a discount version of The Addams Family. A very bad image for a town like Honfleur. Tourists and locals alike: steer clear.

18/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit this evening. We ordered two cocktails, which were disappointing, and a sharing platter, which was expensive for what it was. The person who served us seemed completely unfamiliar with the wine list and lost with the till. And to top it all off, she spilled sauce on my shorts. Okay, maybe she didn't see it on me, but she still picked it up off the floor, so she was aware of the incident. It happens, but still! When we went to the till, we mentioned it to her, and for €55 for two people (two drinks and a mediocre platter), she had the nerve to charge us full price for everything, acting as if nothing had happened. I don't usually leave reviews, but this...

09/08/2026: Excellent value for money. Very friendly and unpretentious service. Everything is done with a smile. Impeccable quality of food. And the view of the port is an added bonus. Well done to the team, and we don't understand the negative reviews.

06/08/2026: For a busy August, we had good service. The oysters were delicious, as were all the other dishes. We opted for the €32 package, which includes an entree, a main course, and a dessert. Everything was good. A great experience. The young waitress was really good and kind.

03/08/2026: We went to the bar to get two Cokes. They charged us as if we'd been served on the terrace. 3.90 for a Coke is outrageous.

23/12/2025: If I could give zero stars, this would be it. A restaurant I've frequented for a long time, and which until now has been impeccable… but my last experience was extremely disappointing! I had booked a meal for 20 people for an event two months in advance with the waiter. (Invitations ordered and sent) The owner met with me to discuss the reservation… not a very warm welcome… a very arrogant person… however, I went ahead with it… Two weeks ago, like many others, I learned that the restaurant was closing its doors but continuing to offer service for professional and private events. (My event wasn't affected per se.) However, I sent an email asking if my reservation was still valid and if the conditions remained the same… no response… I went to the restaurant, the waiter passed the message on to the owner, who asked me… I'm still waiting for a call back… So I booked my event elsewhere! The day before yesterday, a caterer called me back saying they were taking over the reservations… I had the pleasure of telling him I wasn't going to proceed and wished him the best of luck working with an establishment like that! An arrogant boss who manages his reservations terribly, doesn't bother to call his clients back, and I think he doesn't care about losing a table of 20 people… he probably doesn't care about that… In any case, he's off to a great start with his new venture! Avoid at all costs, because they've lost a lot of customers! No wonder the employees are coming and going like they do every day of the week…

The food is amazing, we come from Indonesia and having this local food fantastic: Cod Fish (, Beef Soup and Chicken with local material so good. We recommended to all of you, the local food hunter 😍 Lisieux so amazing and the restaurant must try

29/01/2026: Now only pizza. Okay, we understand, except it was COLD on top as soon as it arrived at the table because the ingredients were frozen... It's emptying quickly, and we get it. Seriously, make an effort with the service too. It's rushed. Disappointing. At least the atmosphere is quiet given the low number of customers.

06/05/2026: We booked this hotel from Sunday to Tuesday, but we fled after the first night because the conditions were so appalling. From the moment we arrived, a smell of damp and stale carpet literally hit us like a ton of bricks, not to mention the smelly sheets. Cleanliness was clearly nonexistent: visible dust, carpets that obviously hadn't been vacuumed in ages… We seriously wondered if the room was cleaned between guests. We had booked a room with a large terrace, but there was another unpleasant surprise: the glass door didn't even lock, the lock was broken. So anyone could get in, especially since the terrace was connected to others. In terms of security, it was simply unacceptable. As for the bathroom, it was probably the worst: a deplorable state for a hotel that dares to advertise itself as a 3-star hotel. The towel warmer was covered in streaks, the shower glass was coated in limescale, the grout was black, the mirror was dirty… and to top it all off, there was a dead spider on the wall as soon as we arrived. A live spider, maybe, in the countryside, but a dead one? It just proves that the hotel hadn't been cleaned. When we tried to mention it to reception, the response was astounding: the receptionist calmly explained that the hotel is old and has been undergoing renovations for 3-4 years, and that some guests don't complain. Good for them, but that in no way justifies such a lack of hygiene and professionalism. Finally, the manager is simply unreachable: no response to our messages, neither through Booking.com nor by email directly to the hotel. Customer service is nonexistent. In short, a disastrous experience, unworthy of a 3-star rating, which we absolutely do not recommend.

04/05/2026: “A trip back in time… unfortunately not the right time” ⭐☆☆☆☆ First off, kudos to the photos on Booking.com, because frankly, passing this dump off as a charming hotel is quite an achievement. The reality is far less flattering. We arrived and the first thing that hit us was the smell of damp. Not a subtle odor, no. A full-blown, unmistakable scent of a flooded cellar that permeated everything: hallways, room, linens. Speaking of linens, the sheets… how to put it… clearly recycled from a previous stay. The dust on the furniture was so thick that we felt like we were disturbing something. Breakfast was just like the rest: lukewarm coffee, stale baguette, and jam of unknown age. The owner, for his part, didn't see fit to lift a finger when we voiced our concerns. A shrug and that was that. On the security front, the lock barely held, the window didn't close properly… we slept with our wallets under our pillows. The pool was freezing cold; it was impossible to stay in it for more than 30 seconds. The only redeeming feature was the pleasant setting, but the lawn hadn't been mowed in ages, so even that was a bit of a mess. A quick call to a gardener wouldn't have cost much. In short, avoid it.

03/05/2026: The staff were very pleasant, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to improve the overall experience. The establishment is run-down and cramped. The seawater pool is very small with only three massage jets for the large number of guests. The hammam was lukewarm and too small for the number of people. We opted for the brunch package and were very surprised to find that drinks were extra (tea and coffee are essential at brunch...). It's more like a buffet than a brunch offering. However, the buffets are regularly replenished, so there's no problem there. Once is enough; the value for money is completely unacceptable.

28/04/2026: A beautiful place to relax, with many treatments available, including a hammam and sauna. The leisure pool could perhaps use some fountains/waterfalls? My 4-star rating is due to the lack of parking, as finding free parking in Deauville isn't always easy! But it was a wonderful experience! PS: Don't miss the tea fountains once you've put on your bathrobe :)
