22/08/2024: Superb bar with outdoor terrace. Possibility to eat also. wide choice of beers. Friendly waiter. the Mont Blanc blueberry and gènepi beer were excellent. I ordered chips as a side and received a whole (bowl) packet for €4. You will not be disappointed.

15/08/2024: I love What the Fox! Their beer list is crazy, but Mont Blanc beer really has a special place in my heart. It is perfectly balanced, with fruity and slightly bitter notes. The atmosphere of the bar is relaxed and warm, it is the ideal place to relax after work.

22/09/2024: We were really made to feel very welcome and the staff took great care of us in this brasserie-style restaurant. While passing through Strasbourg, we ate traditional food and were seated next to American customers.

08/09/2024: This is our first time going to this restaurant. The staff is friendly and polite. The plates were well prepared, the food in sufficient quantity, and there is nothing to say about the cooking. There are a few downsides to note... When booking, by telephone, it was not specified that a single menu (€44/person) is served on Sundays. A person of a certain age, whom we identify as the boss, visibly only says hello to the regulars, and not to us. After opening the bottle of wine, the waiter put away the cork. I would have preferred to smell it. We had an aperitif, and the appetizers arrived a few minutes later (a neighboring table asked for them) The service is too long. With the 2 rooms full, apart from a few tables not occupied: noisy atmosphere. (A few tables expressed dissatisfaction and/or comments on the service) In view of the overall service, and the average price per place, the quality/price ratio is not optimal. A suggestion (idea) was made at a neighboring table: we may have temporary problems (this is understandable) but in this case why not limit the reception capacity? And thus offer a better service. 01/10/2024: We had made a reservation online apparently there were not enough tables for 2 that evening.. Mr enjoyed his meat for my part very disappointed by the appetizers at the queen… it lacked organization in terms of service !!

06/09/2024: Restaurant typique d’Alsace, avec du choix pour tous les portefeuilles et une cuisine extraordinaire qui peut se mesurer avec des étoilés. Du plat du jour à €14,- jusqu’au suggestions à €35,- il y en a pour tous les goûts. Je conseille le menu découverte à 3 plats pour €39,- qui fait plaisir de l’entrée au dessert et qui réserve des surprises inoubliables (je n’ai jamais mangé de la glace au poireau, du suprême de poulet ou un vacherin aussi délicieux !). Très belle découverte à Sélestat!

06/07/2024: We stopped there on the recommendation of the backpacker, We were disappointed, we found a hair in our dish, they replaced it without really apologizing or any commercial gesture. The choice is very limited and really expensive compared to the quantity on the plate. So I don't recommend this restaurant at all.
